Thank you so much Sasha I really really enjoyed watching you creating these amazing and gorgeous cards. Great idea, and one I will need to try out soon. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤
Hi. I just came across this video and I'm so glad to have found it as I'd have hated to have missed it altogether. Your cards look amazing and I think they'd be great for Christmas cards, too. Thank you for sharing this super video and have a wonderful day.😊
I love your adventurous spirit. Oopsies never stop you since mistakes are a part of my crafting too, I really appreciate your work around. Great design a n d completed card.
Wow, Sasha - these are such gorgeous cards, & a really creative technique! I love the acetate overlay. I'll have to try & remember to give this a go. Thank you for sharing. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
Ha ha most people think my accent is very odd. Im Canadian, but have lived in the UK for nearly 17 years. i get asked where im from here in England as well as when i go home to Canada. It's all a bit mixed up now
This is the first video of your that I’ve seen. Silly You Tube and their algorithms. Very nice, beautiful card ! Can;T wait to give this a try ! You got me, new subscriber !
Thank you so much, sometimes i surprise myself ha ha. I really really struggled at first trying to work out how to make it work how i wanted it to but when i got it going i was so super happy with the result
Thank you so much Sue, I nearly always make some kind of mistake when im creating, and i do my absolute best to make sure i dont have to start over again and toss a card
Hi Sasha, great video again! Couldn't you use distress oxides for the coloring as well? I wasn't sure from the way you said "distress, not oxide". And another thing I'm wondering is: Is there any reason why I couldn't attach the clear outside card to the inside card on the back? I feel the black strip steals some of that floating effect you created by having that clear edge all around (which I think is a fantastic!!! idea).
yes absolutely you could. I meant to add that because i had used such a heavy hand of distress oxide, it likely wouldnt show up if i added more colour on top of it in the same colour. and yes, you absolutely could add it from the back if you preferred, I wanted to hide all the adhesive so i liked the front more :)
@@SashaReade I would probably still cover it in the back. I thought I might print a small strip white on black saying "lovingly created by" and stick that on there.
Great idea as always! Just a thought (as long as the acetate has a really good crease), could you put the tape at the top at the back, so it's not seen and no need for a strip at the top on the front? Will have to try that one out! Nicola x
Sorry, normally i put some on before filming, but i was rushing and forgot completely. Been lathering it on at night as ive been having to wash my hands a lot at the moment and they are mega dry
The acetate gives a real wow factor to the cards. you could use so many different shapes for that sentiment space too.
yes exactly, and if you've got other layered shape dies you could really do any shape you like
Loved the cards. The sunflower card is my favorite though, because it is so bright and stands off the card so well. Thanks Sasha.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful technique. I am having tons of fun with it.
Gorgeous cards. Thank you.

@@minikraut oooo you are a clever cookie! that sounds like a fab idea
LOVE THE CARDS
Thank you
Lovely 😍
Thank you so much
I love this one. Always wonder what to do with acetate.
Thank you Zoe, i love using acetate but struggle to do much other than shaker cards usually
Any Christmas card ideas with this technique? It is striking.
yes of course, Just use a chrismas style stamp and a christmas greeting instead of floral and thank you :)
Super
THank you Sandra
Great idea as always! Just a thought (as long as the acetate has a really good crease), could you put the tape at the top at the back, so it's not seen and no need for a strip at the top on the front? Will have to try that one out! Nicola x
you absolutely could do that, i just didnt want any adhesive showing anywhere and felt like this was a good way to hide it :)
@@SashaReade Very true x
Omg, love this idea. But, girllll, put some lotion on those hands. I have the same issue, the paper sucks all the moisture out of my hands.
Sorry, normally i put some on before filming, but i was rushing and forgot completely. Been lathering it on at night as ive been having to wash my hands a lot at the moment and they are mega dry
❤️❤️❤️
I thought these were cd or dvd cases at first!
Oh my days, that actually makes my day, ha ha. I love how they look, they just look so unique
Bonjour. J'aime beaucoup❤❤❤
Merci beaucoup d'avoir regardé
Will any heat resistant acetate do? I don’t see it on Amazon
Yes, they should work as long as they say heat resistant. i put some links for a few in the description box if you're struggling
😊❤😂🎉
😁
