- Vintage organ that will make you feel like you are in the stands at a baseball game in the 1950's. Sit back and relax with music from Americas past time.
This was performed by the great Nancy Bea Hefley and she was the stadium organist for 27 years for Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers. Nothing gets me more excited for baseball than listening to Nancy playing the organ.

It's so... perfect... isn't it? The crowd, the green grass, the smells, the music, the sounds of popping leather and wood... The ballpark is such a beautiful and peaceful place for me. Sometimes I don't even care who wins. It's just about *being there* .

POV: is the year 1955 and your in a ball game you hear this tone while smelling cigars and beers and rooting for your fav team to win.
This reminds me of when I was young and my dad would take me to the Rivercat's games. I don't really remember them winning much, but man it was fun.

This is from the organ at Dodger Stadium, with Nancy Bea Hefley playing. Dodger Stadium is one of only three stadiums in operation that were in use in 1965 or before (Fenway Park and Wrigley Field are the others)

So much better then the loud, obnoxious crap played at a sports venue today
Exhibition Stadium in Toronto had a Hammond Organ during the first five Blue Jays seasons. There is a game on You Tube from 1978 and from 1979 in which you can hear the organist loud and clear. In fact, I use the song going to the bottom of the 11th in the 1978 game as my ring tone.
If anyone knows the name of that song (it is also played after Alfredo Griffin was called back after the foul ball in the first inning in this game), please let me know. It is not the original Blue Jays theme by "Paul's People". It sounds a bit like it, but it's definitely different.
When I hear this music I feel like that is real baseball music. I worked with the Cubs and loved the atmosphere with organ. Some teams I never here anything but piped in current songs. Blah
It's perfectly fine to love something without pissing on other ways of doing it... Would have been enough to just say that you love the atmosphere with an organ without denigrating newer music. Just a thought.
Had this video going as I played with an old baseball-themed mini pinball table. Really set the mood!
When I was a kid my dad would take me to the SF Giants games and I loved this music so much and still do.

I wish I had gotten to experience the atmosphere of an old-school ballgame, before the need for constant fan engagement. No Jumbotron, no sausage races, no MAKE SOME NOISE! I grew up going to Phillies games at the Vet, where the atmosphere was not unlike a Greyhound bus terminal.

My only time travel fantasy (where i can die if im immortal thats different) is just going to all these old legendary baseball games that arent filmed well or at all just imagine it especially when baseball was at its pinnacle racism is really the only thing that holds baseball back historically and it sucks to think about it
