I like the cheeseburger analogy. We do have choice in heart, body, and spirit in consciousness. We need to remember who we are and that it is our life's journey to be connected to God. We are given that choice.

If you say that Ego is your unconscious persona yes you could say that it is the same. God is fully conscious, yes. But if a person was to become fully conscious that would certainly to make them God Himself. However, it would make them like God. That is the goal of Christianity. To become little "sons" of God along with God in heaven. But we do not become God Himself like the pantheists think. We are individuals that become fully conscious ourselves.
