Atos are subcontractors for DWP, they are basically a cowboy outfit. They are supposed to do Health Assessments on claimants, to see if they have what they say they have. The same with Capita.

Until a couple of years ago, my cousin worked for ATOS, one of the many out-sourced companies tasked with delivering government benefits. She quit after 2 years in middle management, describing them as a bunch of shysters only interested in maximising their profits and not on delivering the benefits to which many people are entitled. The staff you've shown are exactly the type she had to work alongside, their success measured by the number of claimants rejected, not approved.
