Nice video! I have the same intake myself. I really love the noise as well. You can hear the turbo's really well. Personally I found the installation not hard, but the fitment wasn't 100%. The holes in the front didn't line up great. But once it's in, it looks really great. You really pay for the carbon piece. The filter itself costs $50,-.
I completely agree. The intake sounds awesome! The fitment was definitely a bit snug, but I'm happy with it once I got it adjusted the way I liked. Thank you for the support!
Other than weight savings, the other main property of carbon fibre products is their increased structural rigidity and overall strength. That over cautious worrying when installing it was really not needed unless you were trying to fit it with hammers and a rock 😉 Btw - the induction system of an internal combustion engine absolutely has power gaining potential

OK, so nice mod, if it fits on my C5 allroad I will do it.. Concerning the interior trim, there is better quality vinyl wrap high gloss CF you could get, much closer to real CF. I would say you should think about (1) upgrading the brakes from HP2's to the Brembo 18Z setup front & rear from a Q7. I wrote up a DIY BBK on audizine of this upgrade. (2) Suspension needs lowering / stiffening attention either sport kit or Coil Overs.. But GLWTB will follow this channel..

Is the carbon Y pipe mission critical? Absolutely not but it is damn good looking. Bear in mind I don’t think you can fit your engine covers so you’ll end up down a rabbit hole of painting cam covers etc.

I have that Y pipe. While it does look great it already developed a leak where CF meets the valve for the PRV creating a small vacuum leak.

There is a radiator or oil line that is getting in the way near the air duct. Did you have this issue?
Do you think this would fit the C5 A6 2.7t? I'm sure there's some differences but just wondering if it would fit
What did you do to get the turbos that loud, I just got a b5 and I really want get mine to sound like yours.
My car has test pipes which defiantly help the turbo sound. They do smell awful compared to high flow cats though. Thanks for the support!
Did your new air filter change the exhaust sound?
It didn't really change the exhaust, but you can definitely hear the intake and diverter valves more from inside and outside the car.
