I just don't get HOW y'all get hated-on for providing honest, unbiased, unsponsored reviews. People really do not have anything better going on in their lives, than hating for hate's sake. Seems like a desperate and pathetic desire for attention, even if it's the negative kind. Sad!
I think this little drone is impressively cheap and features voice control, making it very user-friendly for beginners. As someone who doesn't have high demands for a small drone and mainly wants to capture enjoyable moments during outings, I find it to be quite satisfactory overall.
I just received this today, and I love it! I activated it with my phone and played around with all of the cool features. I then connected it to my DJI RC2 controller, and it flies just like the rest of my drones. I ran out of time on my lunch break, so I didn't get time to test all of the controller functions to see which ones worked/didn't work, but it responded nicely. Even for those of you that do not have any of the compatible controllers, it is still super fun! Thanks for the great video, it was the first one of yours that I have come across. Great job and keep up the great work!
It’s a gateway drone. The basic functions are for quick vlogging shots, the range, flexibility, and fun are extended by the controller, making it a safe way to get into the hobby. The fact that you can use the goggles for FPV flights as well really pushes the idea that this is for people who might have been interested previously but were put off by the expensive barriers to entry.
Yes, we were reminded of the Tello too when this came out! Remember though, the Tello wasn’t actually made by DJI or something like that. They teamed up with another company on that one. Silly little drone, the Tello! 😅💯😁⚓️
If youre a family person this is a great drone for chasing kids or photos of family using the fly more bundle ive been able to fly it about 1.5 kilometres at 40 metres before i got nervous and flew it back but on a really clear calm day you could easily fly this 2.5 kilometres if you needed to fly it all back
what's wrong with people and their unhinged comments. They could give tips without being so toxic. I appreciate your videos. Edit: I think you could get rid of all the hate comments buy calling it a "first impressions video" rather than a review.
this looks intriguing... I'll be back to watch the show for sure, now off to some fine dining, for a change lol. treat yourself to some 5 star cuisine from time to time and your head will spin with delight... and intoxication, a win win we call it
Hope you are having an amazing Friday of dining my friend! Sounds really nice! Please don’t judge, but we enjoyed mini corndogs, cottage cheese, peaches and Doritos for dinner! lol… a little more informal than a five star experience but it hit the spot on this particular day! 😅👍💯😎⚓️
You’re missing the entire point of our channel. We aren’t a promotional commercial for DJI, but average users of drones sharing our honest first experience. Some people appreciate this style! What are your thoughts? What did we miss, in your opinion? 🤔💯⚓️
Ours didn’t come with any instructions. Only a simple quick start guide on how to charge it and turn it on. Should we complain about this QC issue with DJI? I addressed not having instructions in this video. lol. I even called the DJI hate we would get in this video and look what is happening… 😂 It’s sad that anything we do with a DJI product is so predictable. Further proving our point. 💯⚓️
Why would a drone that doesn’t require a phone or controller to fly, need a smart phone to scan a QR code to read instructions? Lol. Seems very hypocritical of itself. 😂😅💯⚓️
I enjoyed this video. And Nate, never change - you crack me up and I love your take on all this stuff. I'm very much in agreement with pretty much all of your takes in this video. I thought the video quality on the Neo was pretty good, probably still not as good as Holy Stone but very close. Cheers!
Thanks so much Ken! That honestly means a lot. I think most people that agree, or could go either way generally don’t say much in the comments, but those who disagree want to be heard!! And that’s okay too! 10+ years on TH-cam has given me very thick skin 😅 You rock my friend. Thank you. 🙏😎💯⚓️
always like that when you review a small DJI drone... same as when you guys reviewed the DJI Ryze... Honest... it's small, it's simple, it's compact! and it's good! hehehe
Neat little drone...does look like mini whoop!! Everything you say about drones is over my head (pun intended)!! Seems a bit pricey for what you get!! Thanks Saylors for your really honest review!! At least Nate didn't plank out on his back like in years past (Fimi anyone?)!! 💟👍😘
We paid for this with hard earned money. We literally work, save up money for stuff, and then buy it. What do you mean just show up at your door step? We paid shipping for another hard working human to deliver it to our door, because we are too busy working to go get it ourselves. I’m super confused. Please explain!! 🙏😎⚓️
It's not a DJi mini. it's a selfy drone. It's not meant to go far. You set out to hate on this drone from the start, try reading instructions before hating on an item, and it's good for what it's made for, taking selfies. It's cheap, which is why it uses wifi, not ocusync, or has a card slot to save on to, this isnt a hate post. it's a criticism on your video
All good! I welcome criticism as it’s one of the few ways I know to make any changes to get any better. I 100% agree with you regarding it being a selfie drone, though I find it so interesting that MOST of our feedback has encouraged the use of using a controller to push it more in the direction of a more traditional drone for comparison and performance sake. I’m not sure if it was a CQ fluke or something, but ours didn’t come with instructions other than a quick start guide which showed how to charge it. We said it in this video that we love the drone for what it is, but we also have to show its weaknesses too and a Real, Honest first flight experience. I’m not sure why there is an expectation for “perfect demonstrations” here on our channel. We’ve never been a commercial, or even very polished for any product, like many channels are. Just here to share our very real, honest first time experience with the drone. That’s what we are sharing more than anything. Most people find this to be relatable, so they’ll know what struggles they may encounter as well. Sort of like “If the Saylors have this problem, then I might too” sort of mindset. Hope this helps understand our perspective on our channel and clarify our style. Recap, we Do like this drone! I’ve been playing with it three more flights with the kids since this video and have experienced 5 crashes (hard) on it since releasing this video. It’s fun, durable, quirky, and riddled with flight bugs too, but don’t lose sight of the overall picture here. We do like it! It’s just different, and not perfect. 👍💯😎⚓️
You are just using it wrong and immediately assume it's bad.. first of all, you can use it without a phone, even if you need to activate it once with the app, it is not such a big deal like you make it to be. Besides that, having the app let's you adjust the position with the manual control, before you start the mode you want.. in the 20m circle mode for example, it was going to hit the car because it was low, you could have just manually set the drone higher before starting the circle mode and then do it correctly Instead of just saying "i don't know why it is so low".. learn how to use it properly and do another video.
How are we using it wrong? Please clarify. Did we do something dangerous? Look, we had fun with the drone and showed an actual, real first flight experience. Our channel isn’t here to demonstrate a commercial for DJI, but the true ease of use and good that it offers, alongside the “clunky” less perfect aspects of the drone. If you just want verification that backs up your purchase of the DJI, there are 99,999 other channels who’ve sold out to get reduced prices on products that will give you the pat on the back you are looking for. Happy Flying my friend! 👍💯😎⚓️
@TheRcSaylors i own a Mavic 3 Pro, an Avata 2 and a mini 3.. i bought the neo only for fun, i don't need anyone to pat my back. I just think you can have a better experience than what you've shown in the video if you just took the 10 minutes to figure out how everything works before you film a review and make assumptions about it's capabilities and features.
So again, what features did we not demonstrate or demonstrate properly? I’m not upset at all with my reply to you, but am 100% genuinely curious! In the U.S. this is the Only way to buy this drone for $200. Please, what am I missing? I’d love to do a proper follow up on this drone and your reply could trigger that exact video! Thanks!! 🙏👍💯❤️⚓️
@@MrSar234He will not listen, it's his channel and no one will tell him he was an idiot in this showing off the drone the way he did. So many comments on here and he attacks them all, instead seeing other people's thoughts
@@TheRcSaylors 4:04 you make it sound like you can't use the drone without the phone while you can, you only need to pair it once to the app, after that you can use it without the phone, and you don't mention it. 10:47 you say there's no manual control, but a second later you use the manual control, so why keep that part in the video? 14:36 as i said, you are trying to control the drone while in circle mode and it's not working, but you could position the drone higher or lower with manual control before you start the circle mode, then select the object and start the mode, i think you should've shown that in the video.. i don't want to tell you how to do your job. I just feel like it was a bit misleading
@@TheRcSaylors I did buy one, and I bought the remote as well. With the remote you do get GPS and return to home features as well as additional camera controls and a ton more range. I think this would be a great beginner drone for anyone to learn on. And if you get the refresh plan it's not just a crash and trash aircraft. A lot of the Bangood/Ali "easy to fly beginner drones" can be too fragile and pretty darn close to the same price point.
I'm getting mine next week. It will be my first drone. I was always curious to get a drone but never wanted to spend $500+ on something I might not use a lot or I'd crash it. For what I will use it for, the NEO will probably be enough for me and you can't beat the price. I may get a remote in the future for a little more range and have more options for editing video footage. It's too bad those options aren't available in the app. Maybe with a future update.
th-cam.com/video/u1EilCZyhAk/w-d-xo.html You might want to consider this drone as a very real option too. You get a LOT more bang for your buck with it, and it might be going on sale soon 😉👍😎💯⚓️
You don’t need the phone for doing all the features. As just press buttons on the drone.. your wrong bout it not being traditional fliers .. It can be used with a controller like a regular DJI if you have already or by it in the bundle.. if have DJI goggles you can do FPV .. so you need to be already in the eco system..It’s just like the Hover X drone but can be used as a regular camera .. It could be good as a backup when doing your flight tests .. I hope after reading the comments that you’ll give it another chance .. Thanks for the review 😀👍
I got my mitts on a DJI Neo a few days ago; I purchased it specifically because it can be flown with just one hand by a stroke victim. Since I'm effectively housebound, I fly it exclusively indoors -- though I need more light.
Now THAT is very cool knowing this drone can be flown with less mobility, as in your situation from a stroke. Our hearts go out to you my friend, truly. I love knowing that you can enjoy the hobby more accessibly with the NEO!! Happy Flying brother! 👍😎💯❤️⚓️
Good memories with our Spark! Awful memories with our Inspire, but DJI has been by our side for a decade or so now. Fun to see new products like this coming from them though as we were starting to worry they were only making $1,000+ drones now! Happy Flying my friend! 👍😎💯⚓️
I bought mine and the remote. My main reason is that it's under the faa limit. No remote id. Although, I wonder how part 107 users can fly it for profit. It's intentionally limited distance due to the limits of wifi. It's a liability thing. And it technically cannot be flown in the US without the phone app or remote due to the rule against fully autonomous flight (FAA requires flyer intervention in case of issues.)
I was the one who commented that the HS360E video quality (to me) looked better. I even went back and re-watched the holystone video again. Now that you have the neo, what do you think of the quality?
Buying Neo with the RC controller enters the price bracket of Mini 4. Since Mini 4 is not available in India, what other option you suggest or Neo is just fine for beginners? Love your videos ❤
Yes, we can absolutely use one of the controllers that we already have, and probably will for fun! However it is sold in this configuration and I imagine most newcomers will fly it like this, so we wanted to showcase it this way. Happy Flying and thanks for watching!! 👍💯🙏😎⚓️
Nate I’m very disappointed you did no research on the specs. 4K GPS occusync4 etc. When you use your phone it’s wifi. If you use the controller it’s ocusync 4. It is a true GPS drone. It can also be flown fpv with the dji accessories. Hight can be adjusted, high low and medium, distance can be adjusted. It is more like an upgraded spark for comparison. You will have a much better experience if you got the flymore box instead. With the controller it flies like a mini with a range of 10kms. Sorry Nate, I love your channel but you can’t wing it with a high tech drone like this. It’s not 5 years old it’s the latest tech! Do your research!!!
No, GPS is not included on this drone for $200. I was correct in saying that. Do you mean the fact that GPS is locked behind a pay wall? To me, that is ridiculous. If the drone has a GPS on board, it should work without requiring someone to pay over $100 more to activate that feature. I’m surprised people are okay with that, but DJI has a very strong fan base so I’m not surprised in that regard. We actually show making those adjustments later in the video, which tells me you didn’t watch the entire video before leaving your comment. In the U.S. this is literally the ONLY way you can buy this drone. It’s sold and marketed heavily as a $200 drone, which is how we demonstrated it. Also, please don’t take my comment as any type of attack against your comment or you. I’m only trying to address the things that you said, hoping for an open mature dialogue. Thanks!! 👍💯😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors I appreciate polite intelligent conversation. I’ve watched you channel for years in fact I’m a patreon supporter. DJI does not make 2 versions of the drone. It has gps on board. No pay wall. I bought the fly more combo because any serious drone pilot would not just want 1 battery. That’s just dumb. I activated it and that’s it. No paywall it has returned to home it is a gps drone it is an fpv tiny whoop depending on which accessories you buy. I briefly looked at the fly app on vertical mode and instantly didn’t like it. With the controller the fly app is normal like all DJI drones. Same app it switches to vertical mode when you log onto the drones wifi. I only went into it to set the parameters for the various flight modes if I wanted to use it hands free. Not sure Nate why you are hating on this little drone do much. It is packed with the latest tech including gps and ocusync. NOT 5 year old tech! By paywall are you referring to having to buy the controller because that’s literally all you need to get a much better experience just like any other DJI drone. I am from Canada and bought the fly more kit because only an amateur would buy a 1 battery drone with no controller. I understand your reasoning if it is being marketed as a controller free drone. To my knowledge at least in Canada it’s being marketed as an everything drone. Selfy drone, fly by phone, fly by controller, fly by either of the fpv controllers with goggles. I bought one a month ago and it’s small and amazing they were able to pack that much tech into such a small drone. You neglected to say about the camera. It is true 4K 30 fps and had a one axis humble but has rock steady just like their action camera. It all works beautifully. Come on show a little love for DJI will you?
@@Icantdrive55It's amusing this guy seems angry that you point out the obvious but then he still attacks you! It's so odd that if you buy the drone only then buy the 2 extra batteries and charger separately then yeah the controller is expensive, but if you buy everything as a combo the controller is like $50 extra in my currency or probably around US$30!
Sorry Icantdrive brother, I know you are a long time viewer and supporter and we are super grateful for that. So, the problem might actually be that here in the U.S. it is ONLY sold by itself, at $200. No option for more batteries, controller, or anything. So to me, DJI has strongly marketed it as just that. Maybe that’s why we both feel so differently about this drone? So strange that the U.S. market has only the stripped down version! 🤪😬😅❤️⚓️
Do you think this would be easy to operate with one hand? My dad only has one hand that works but I want to get him a drone for Christmas. This was recommended to me and seems like the most affordable option
5000% YES this is actually an amazing option for anyone with one hand. I've flown it to get some "quick shots" while either holding our kid or an RC or something, so can say positively that it works perfectly while only using one hand! I'm so glad to know there are good options out there like this that can help others get into and enjoy the hobby that might otherwise struggle. Happy Flying! Please consider ordering yours using our link in our pinned comment or description box. Thank you!
Nice Video but you have to show every thing there is more you can do with this drone with the Controller you can fly far and have return to home and also fly fpv with the goggles 3 and the motion Controller 👍
We will consider paying $130 more for a basic controller to unlock more of those features however most consumers will buy this drone exactly the way we showed it, which is how DJI markets it and intended for a majority of people to fly it this way. Thanks for letting us know though! Happy Flying! 👍💯😎⚓️
I genuinely had a lot of fun recording this! Tried playing around with the drone this evening with the kids and for some reason it wouldn’t track them at all. Just kept landing in the grass. Dunno what that was about, maybe low light? 🤔⚓️
Wow guys ... Great to see you back doing drones again. I must look at your channel again as I didn't get any notifications on this video . A big congrats on having a new child in your lives
Hi Rc Saylors Nate and Abby, Popeye 🐕👋🙂👍. A wonderful review. It's a pretty good drone and I agree with you 💯. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend and thank you so very much for sharing this wonderful video. God bless you and your family always 🙏. Our prayers and love for you all everyday 🙏. Blessings to our favorite family always 😇. You made my day with a drone video. On the 14th. Of this month,me and My wife Sarah will be celebrating 7 years wedding anniversary.
Haha, I’m going to have the kiddos try and fly it tomorrow. We tried this evening but it wouldn’t track them and kept forcing a landing. 😢 It might have been too dark or something. Maybe it won’t follow kids!?!? Now that would be so weird!! 😬🤪💯⚓️
Can't please everyone, the critics will always crit. For two bills what I saw straight out the box without having to read a 5,000 page college book wasn't bad at all. 👍
I loved this review, I usually record the content of daily live stuff for me and my friends and the features that you presented will be a great addition!
Thanks to you and your wife, i understand its basically for people who never used a drone i think its good for beginners to see if they like it, again god bless u and your wife 🙏🏼 thanks for the video sir
It’s still a DJI and still does DJI things……..I.e good luck having this thing follow you on a bike trail near an airport….it just stops and acts lost. This is where hover air shines. They don’t have geo fence. Funny thing though…all the DJI fanboys avoid that question, or little facts in their own videos. Not everyone just the die hard fanboys.
We are far from DJI fanboys, if we hadn’t made that clear. They definitely do a lot of things that we do not like, but also have to give credit where it’s due and the fact that they have dominated the market for years now. Still, we love competition on the market and are always hoping for strong alternatives. Monopolies are almost never a good thing for the consumer. 💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors my fanboy comment wasn’t meant for you, I knew long ago you aren’t one. was just a statement for other “TH-camrs” who clearly are fanboys.
My only request is that if you Do buy one, please consider buying one through our link. However, this is a Very Different drone than anything you are likely used to. If these pre programmed flights seem fun or useful to you, it might be a great drone for you! It will not outperform anything else DJI makes or has made in the past. Cute, and fun for the kids and I honestly had fun catching it after each flight. Almost felt like a little pet bird flying around me! 😅👍💯😎⚓️
Nate, I love your channel but you blew it on this one. The drone is much more capable than you have explained. You need to do more research on it so you are aware of all its capabilities and then do another review once you get the associated accessories. Just have a look at the RC Moton 3 controller, it is revolutionary and for the first time it has opened up FPV to me (one hand controller). In fact i am going out to fly it FPV right now.
Please, can you explain what features I missed that are just included with the drone for $200, which is how it is sold in the U.S. that do not require a person to spend more money? Thank you!! 🙏💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylorsyou weren’t impressed with the range on the auto modes. These can be altered in the settings of the app. You’ve probably already discovered this.
@@TheRcSaylorsthe voice control feature is brilliant. You just say " hey fly" then a command. For example 10 metre dronie or 8 metre helix. Also in follow mode you can say higher or closer etc. Give it a go 😊👍
@@TheRcSaylors If you wish to limit the comparison to $200, as you say, then maybe you should have compared the neo to other autonomous selfie drones for a fair comparison.
It's not designed for the "drone experience" of a knowledgeable user. It's designed for the selfie taker, the active vlogger. You're WAY too expert for this box. You called it the Cicada 2.0, I think it's the HoverAir rewritten. But tomato, tomahto. Still fun.
It sounds good for what it is intended for, it's better than a selfie stick. LOL Also good for somebody who is intimidated by a more expensive drone or perceived complexities.
@@TheRcSaylors nice me too I want but can't afford it at this moment putting in a new septic and that is coasting me a lot $25000.00. So I have to wait
Ouch!! I’m sorry about that my friend. That is one of those purchases in life that just hurts no matter what. We had to replace our garage door a few years ago which cost nearly $10,000 as it is a “custom size” on our older house. When it was done, it didn’t feel like that fun, new car feeling or anything! Just $10,000 flushed… Ugh. Sorry gene! 💯⚓️
That in most countries comes with the combo package, in my country the controller costs about US$30 extra as the fly more combo vs buying everything separately.
You have to download the DJI app and create an account which gives your life away basically to activate the drone before it will even let you fly it. After that, your phone is not required. 💯⚓️
We are here to share real world experiences and not awful hyped up commercials. Glad we helped save you $200! We might have a better alternative for you soon! 😉👍💯😎⚓️
Go ahead and buy it it’s a great little whoop drone. Buy the flymore with the controller. Nate unfortunately doesn’t read instructions or research the drone before going on camera and winging it!!!
Your loss! It's a fantastic little drone, as long as you do not want cinematic footage and a stable drone in winds above 20kph, apart from that there is no better drone for $200 that from push the on button to taking selfie in less than 15 seconds!
Mine was great until I was testing a controller under a tree and let the battery get low and start RTH right up into the tree, then down onto pavement. Thankfully I purchased care refresh.
It sure is loud! Lol. It would make a great security camera to take along when you go running or walking especially for women so they don’t get kidnapped or if they do it has the footage of what happened etc. but I think you said it had 7 minutes of battery. That’s a bummer.
Guys, what we do on our channel is different than others. This is not a “commercial promo” for the product, but a real experience that we are sharing. Do you not think that many others would have the same experience as us? Why does a day one release need firmware updates? Does every consumer watch hours and hours of videos to understand what they “have to do” before buying a toy? Again, we are here to share an honest, real experience. This is not a commercial for this drone like 99% of “influencers” with the NEO. 😅👍🙏💯⚓️
If we dug one of our controllers out, it would not be a $200 experience which is sort of the “hook” DJI is going for here. It’s not about “showing off” the product, but rather showing a true experience with the product, and this style upsets a lot of people. Life is not polished, neither is our channel. We are real people and this was our real, maiden flight experience which we believe reflects a better expectation of most people’s real first experience too. 🙏👍❤️💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors I see your responses and they are valid. But not knowing more, I think it would be helpful to address a few things. Through your video, you figured out some stuff, and corrected it. But more than once you guys were commenting on how low it was flying and why. I think if you are putting out content and see some potential issues, you should at least see if it is an issue with the product or user error and point that out to your viewers. I do not have one, but it seems from comments that the altitude of flight is adjustable and can be adjusted as needed, especially if the Neo does not have any obstacle awareness.
This is more like us unboxing the product because he had no idea how to use the drone before the video started. How does he “review” something he hasn’t even taken the time to know how to use first?
You absolutely nailed the point of our entire channel! We aren’t here to show polished, final “commercial” results, but a more realistic shared approach! People can watch our channel to get a true expectation of their first experience with whatever product it is. Thanks for swinging by to check out what we do! 🙏👍💯😎⚓️
@ Wrong. The title of the video has “honest review” In it, but how do you review something you know hardly anything about? Also, I’ve read through many of the comments people are leaving you. Almost all of the comments say the same thing….. exactly what I said. Aaannnddd you continue to argue with everybody telling you this. Lol
@MoeBergOSS So go watch another channel. Do you argue with your TV too? I mean, if you think they aren't listening to similar comments, what's the point?
It only tracks one person, as I’ve learned while playing with this drone with the kids. And it has no obstacle avoidance so it WILL slam into people as it tries to follow said person. 😅😬🙃🤪⚓️
You might want to watch other reviews. I don't mean to disparage this review, but 10 minutes of reading instructions shows an entirely different set of options and capabilities. This is a more can you fly it with no guidance, which does have value.
Honestly you loose a lot of features if you don't have the physical transmitter that's why I bought the fly more combo with the radio 3 battery charge dock and 2 extra batteries and it fly's great you should bind it to one of your other dji transmitters and do a follow up vid the difference is night and day you can also fly it fpv with a pair of dji goggles also it does have GPS and a max range of 7 km's as long as you're using a physical transmitter
Strange isn’t it? The land of the free can’t fly silly little plastic toys that weigh less than a rubber RC car tire!! Well, we can but there are so many “rules” associated with them that most lawyers can’t even decipher what people are “supposed” to do! Regardless, I do love that they made this comparable with so many of their accessories, like the transmitter and goggles. What sort of flight times are you getting on yours James? We were getting something like 8-9 minutes on ours, fully charged. ⚓️
I see you guys are still a holes about DJI and your bias is still this strong through the years! You got me into drones but I stopped watching you many years ago!
We literally bought the drone, lol.. by choice and are having a blast with it. What exactly upset you about this video? Are we not allowed to say anything negative at all!? Super confused. Please clarify! 🙏💯😅⚓️
Thank you very much for that and your support! Overall, I’m glad we bought the NEO. For me, not something I’ll fly very often at all. For the kids, we will probably play around with it! 👍😎💯⚓️
You should learn how to use the products before reviewing. This thing is pretty cool. I've used 2 batteries through mine and its going on a dune trip next week. I did buy the RCN3 radio
We showcase true maiden flights so people can see real frustrations and even positive reactions rather than polished commercials. That’s just not what our channel is about. ❤️😎💯⚓️
Nate you didn't bother to read any of the documents included. Whether you had to download them or not. There is a Return to home function and it works well. There are hundreds of reviews already on this drone. I'm betting you did not bother reading the part about using the DJI controllers. Next time fact check your content before posting. You have made me Mad because all your trying to do lately is post useless content. If you even looked at the DJI website you would of known about the controller. Quit giving Amazon affiliate links and do your research on anything you post.
Oh my gosh.. is the controller free Jim!? I talk about it in this video, clearly it’s not. It nearly doubles the price if you want to fly with the controller. GPS function is locked behind that paywall. DJI installed a GPS system in this drone but forces its customers to buy the controller to unlock that feature, which is Dirty dirty dirty. I can’t believe people actually support this toxic marketing strategy. Again, at $200 this drone DOES NOT have GPS functionality. 🤪🤷♂️🤯💯⚓️
lol, you’ve completely missed the point of different channels with different opinions. What do you want? Someone reading the stats to you to help justify your decision to buy it? We are showing a real world example of a first time flight of this. Happy Flying! 👍💯⚓️
@@elephant1851 they were reviewing the drone itself, without the controller etc, since you can buy the drone on its own, and that's how it's usually advertised. It's at a price point where the extra for the fly more combo is not a huge ask, but it's enough that a good number of people won't buy it initially. So, reviewing it as it normally comes is a good idea, and without the controller it doesn't have RtH
@@TheRcSaylorsNah you know exactly what he said. The same thing everybody is saying. You did a lazy terrible review. Own it without complaining and acting dumb.

Just heard about this.
Typed in dji neo and the KING AND QUEEN OF RC POPPED UP!
excited since I haven't watched you guys in a bit! Xoxo
Not pathetic. This drone would be great to capture behind the scenes solo content.
You are absolutely right! It’s good at very close range shots. Sadly, can’t fly far enough away to not hear the motors 😢💯⚓️
I am thinking about getting one of these as a Christmas present for a teenager.
This was hilariously fun!
Looks like a fun little drone kind of like a more expensive Tello. Great video, my friends 😎 ✌️
Yes, we were reminded of the Tello too when this came out! Remember though, the Tello wasn’t actually made by DJI or something like that. They teamed up with another company on that one. Silly little drone, the Tello! 😅💯😁⚓️
Thank you for this review as im buying one without the controller to follow me on my bike. Every other review has a controller. Thanks again 😊
You are very welcome! Happy Flying! 👍💯😎⚓️
That's one I had hoped to see since the commercial showed the unit allegedly getting insane action shots but for two bills I wouldn't expect much. 😊
Ive had mine for several weeks and im loving it, throw on some gem fan 5 blade d51 props and its much quieter and smoother flying.
Thanks for that info, I just ordered some myself, hopefully lives up to the claim
Edit: I think you could get rid of all the hate comments buy calling it a "first impressions video"
rather than a review.
Who cares?
this looks intriguing...
Pity you didn’t think to familiarise yourself with the instructions before you tested it on camera
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely! Thanks for tuning in! 👍💯🙏😎⚓️
Nice, I wish cool stuff like that would just show up in my mail like that.
We paid for this with hard earned money. We literally work, save up money for stuff, and then buy it. What do you mean just show up at your door step? We paid shipping for another hard working human to deliver it to our door, because we are too busy working to go get it ourselves. I’m super confused. Please explain!! 🙏😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors😂😂😂😂
I like to watch reviews where guys at least know a little something about the product. Not just winging it willy nilly
Exactly ! ♥

This is a great little drone, learn more about it and do another video, maybe get a remote and check out all of it's features.
Did you buy one? ⚓️
What features did we miss here, without buying the remote or goggles which would double or triple the price? Thanks! 🙏😎💯⚓️
Maybe with a future update.
th-cam.com/video/u1EilCZyhAk/w-d-xo.html
You might want to consider this drone as a very real option too.
You can change the range on the modes in the app!
We quickly learned and demonstrated that in the video half way through or so 😉😅 Thank you though for the tip! 🙏💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors yes I realised that later on while watching. I jumped the gun. My bad 🤣
I love my Mini 2 and Mini 3 Pro, get the concept of Neo but it needs to be better before it has a serious market
I like DJI drones wish the range was more and longer battery life I love the DJI Spark and the Phantom 3 always awesome 👏 vids my friends 😊😊😊⚓️⚓️⚓️
Cool !!
Buying Neo with the RC controller enters the price bracket of Mini 4. Since Mini 4 is not available in India, what other option you suggest or Neo is just fine for beginners? Love your videos ❤
Use controller as mini2....win!
Exactly my point you get it!
great review
Thank you!
Hi from Michigan @ Frame: 7:34 • What microphone and dead cat are you using on your Canon Camera? Very cool drone demo 👍
Good drone

A small vloger drone. Seemed to have some decent options. Video had decent clarity. Amelia could start her own selfie vlog.😊. ⚓️⚓️👍💚🧡💛👍😊👍⚓️⚓️.
Haha, I’m going to have the kiddos try and fly it tomorrow. We tried this evening but it wouldn’t track them and kept forcing a landing. 😢 It might have been too dark or something. Maybe it won’t follow kids!?!? Now that would be so weird!! 😬🤪💯⚓️
If I had a nickel for every time I heard "smaller than I expected"
I could play 2 games of Pac Man
Abby and I often wish we could poke a little more fun that what we do on our family friendly channel 😅😂💯⚓️
It's almost like having something airborne near an airport then having it not go near the runway is a good thing...
@@TheRcSaylors my fanboy comment wasn’t meant for you, I knew long ago you aren’t one. was just a statement for other “TH-camrs” who clearly are fanboys.
Was thinking about going to best buy to get it but I have the air 3 and I barely fly it but I want it debating now if it's worth it
My only request is that if you Do buy one, please consider buying one through our link.
Paul, you are exactly correct! We actually discovered that in this video and demonstrated them at their max (still pathetic) range 😉😁💯⚓️
It's not designed for the "drone experience" of a knowledgeable user. It's designed for the selfie taker, the active vlogger. You're WAY too expert for this box. You called it the Cicada 2.0, I think it's the HoverAir rewritten. But tomato, tomahto. Still fun.
I strongly agree with your comment! 👍😎💯⚓️
you obviously missed the first 10 minutes of his video where he clearly found the option to manually fly it.
The best reviewer on TH-cam. You are funny. Keep doing what you are doing. Love your great sense of humor!

Oh yes! 👍😎💯⚓️
He look like he rapping when he speak 😂😂😂
It sounds good for what it is intended for, it's better than a selfie stick. LOL Also good for somebody who is intimidated by a more expensive drone or perceived complexities.
You guys should have brought the electric bike to see how fast it would actually follow 😅

Sorry gene! 💯⚓️
It does have GPS.
Only after you activate it through a controller paywall…. 🤪💯⚓️
That in most countries comes with the combo package, in my country the controller costs about US$30 extra as the fly more combo vs buying everything separately.
So, you mean to say you can't adjust the height of the circle and follow? Side Follow slider effect?
Can this fly indoor?
Yes, Most drones can 👍😁💯😎⚓️
Do you need dji app to fly this drone?
You have to download the DJI app and create an account which gives your life away basically to activate the drone before it will even let you fly it. After that, your phone is not required. 💯⚓️
I PLANNED TO BUY IT TODAY BUT AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO I WONT BUY THAKS FOR GOOD ENOUGH REVIEW BRO
How much damage did you have? My bet is it still worked after that fall.
It sure is loud! Lol. It would make a great security camera to take along when you go running or walking especially for women so they don’t get kidnapped or if they do it has the footage of what happened etc. but I think you said it had 7 minutes of battery. That’s a bummer.
👍👍👍 nice
Thanks my friend! Hope you guys are gearing up for a nice weekend!! 👍💯😎⚓️
He doesn't quite know how to use it.
He also didn't update the firmware before the review.
There is a firmware update because it's been out for over a month in other countries I have had mine for 37 days in Canada @@TheRcSaylors
How does he “review” something he hasn’t even taken the time
to know how to use first?
You absolutely nailed the point of our entire channel! We aren’t here to show polished, final “commercial” results, but a more realistic shared approach! People can watch our channel to get a true expectation of their first experience with whatever product it is. Thanks for swinging by to check out what we do! 🙏👍💯😎⚓️
@ Wrong. The title of the video has “honest review”
In it, but how do you review something you know hardly anything about?
Also, I’ve read through many of the comments people are leaving you. Almost all of the comments say the same thing….. exactly what I said. Aaannnddd you continue to argue with everybody telling you this. Lol
@MoeBergOSS So go watch another channel. Do you argue with your TV too? I mean, if you think they aren't listening to similar comments, what's the point?
@ Lmao You’re a thin skinned triggered male Karen. Lmao…….
Definitely need to work on your cardio! Old man😂
This was really well done! Thank you for doing it.
What happens if you are walking with your family or group of people. Can it still follow you? Like if you want to take a group shot?
It only tracks one person, as I’ve learned while playing with this drone with the kids. And it has no obstacle avoidance so it WILL slam into people as it tries to follow said person. 😅😬🙃🤪⚓️
Non traditional sounds good to me.
I thought it was cool until I watched this review on it. I still think the HS 360e is a better drone for $200.
You might want to watch other reviews. I don't mean to disparage this review, but 10 minutes of reading instructions shows an entirely different set of options and capabilities. This is a more can you fly it with no guidance, which does have value.
Nailed Apple lol
Glad I’m not the only one who knows this about Apple, and sadly I have an iPhone! Abby basically made me get one, lol…. 😬😅💯😢⚓️
The US version does not include the remote with any combo (unless you order from outside the country), it's silly. I ordered the remote separately.
About 14-16 minutes as long as I'm in forward flight hovering stationary uses up the battery quite fast@@TheRcSaylors
@@PsychoticBovinethat's an odd money grab strategy for DJI
Nicee
....did you download th' APP ?.....
How does the footage look like vertical?
RTFM!!!
Was the camera 4K ?
I see you guys are still a holes about DJI and your bias is still this strong through the years! You got me into drones but I stopped watching you many years ago!
We literally bought the drone, lol.. by choice and are having a blast with it. What exactly upset you about this video? Are we not allowed to say anything negative at all!? Super confused. Please clarify! 🙏💯😅⚓️
Great review! Can an object be used instead of a face if I decide to make a review of a car?
So far I have not tried an object. It did struggle to follow my kids, which I thought was strange. 🤔😅💯⚓️
@ I got mine today 😂✌🏻
He doesn’t have a clue. He just quickly made a video for $$$ without any research at all.
I think teenagers will buy buy a lot of these drones. Or ask for one for the holidays.
0:12 clicked this video AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE for that 😅
Thank you very much for that and your support! Overall, I’m glad we bought the NEO. For me, not something I’ll fly very often at all. For the kids, we will probably play around with it! 👍😎💯⚓️
Dang didnt realize it wwas so noisey or is that just the volume turned up.
0:03 That's What She Said...
Can somebody check if both led lights underneath light up? My Neo only lights up 1 and sometimes fly a bit wonky.
annoying
It is not that hard to watch different videos😭🙏
PASS !!!
Does the video recording has the propeller sound recorded too?
It doesn't
It has gps, and return to home, but only with remote.
It seems weird that GPS only works with the remote. 🤔💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors It does seem strange.
GPS is built into the drone, right? Sadly that feels very much like a paywall from DJI. Still, a very fun drone! 👍💯😎⚓️
200?💀
Steep for what it is. Then again, a gallon of orange juice is $9 now, so really this is worth 20 orange juices…. 🤪😢💯⚓️
New Neo Mini Drone - Honest Review!!!😊
i dont care if its not for you just do the review
lol, you’ve completely missed the point of different channels with different opinions. What do you want? Someone reading the stats to you to help justify your decision to buy it? We are showing a real world example of a first time flight of this. Happy Flying! 👍💯⚓️
If you are going to do a review, for Petes sake do a little homework first.
What am I missing? If you are going to leave a comment, for Pizza Sake, be more specific! 😉🤪🙃💯⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors Well, the Neo has a gps.. and has automatic return to home when you use a dji controller.
