That border collie will be a lot of work. They typically are a high drive working dog. Sheep primarily, but sometimes cattle. It will definitely keep you on your toes. Lots of long walks and maybe some form of dog sports in the future for you. Love your work 👍🏻 keep it up. Look after yourself.

You're a genius with the 2 stroke. Waiting on the white board explanation of the combustion cycle and the transfers. Hoping all works out with the A fib they fan do amazing things now to control it. Don't think this would work in Florida except the 4 weeks of what they call winter here. It's always hot.

A good oldschool saying is "If you dont make any mistakes, you make Fk all" Apologies for my french. I have two 254s pre air injection, a 357 and recently aquired a couple of 372s which im looking forward to playing about with one, the guy who donated the 72s ain't what you would call mechanichaly inclined. He replaced the piston and pot on one but didnt tighten the flywheel nut tight enough, so you know what the outcome of that mistake was, so im going to follow your instruction and make an animal

Like yourself, I enjoy seeing his builds and I am glad you all take the time to share them on TH-cam. For me the power of an 066 in a saw the size and weight of a 357xp or Stihl MS361 makes me feel like a younger man in the woods so I especially like these builds. From the popularity of the 500i I would say alot of others do as well. If Stihl made a ms400 size and weight saw that was equivalent power wise to or better than a 661 👌

??? Average Piston speed is determined by the stroke... so to change the average piston speed, one would have to change the stroke. If one wants to change the speed at specific areas of the stroke one would have to change the Rod length. Did I missunderstand what you were saying?

Hey Sir, just discovered your channel it’s great. I hope yer feeling better. Is your heart condition cronic? Heart failure? I had a pacemaker/defibrillator installed in late ‘21 and was told No more power tools, especially chain saws. I bought an electric chain saw thinking that would be ok but my wife admonished me. I only use it when she’s at work 😬

Have you thought about using a 288/288XP HUSKY piston for your 54mm built 365 ? Single ring and flattop
288 husky piston is 13mm pin, I wish they were 12mm I wanted to use one on my 044 54mm hybrid build.

Yes, the 12 mm Stihl od is 15mm
The 288 uses a 17mm od bearing
Looking at the specs, 066 uses a 17mm od bearing so ,yes you are correct they would fit an 066 but won't fit my 044, with big bore 046 cylinder.
