Okay, my Lovelies, here’s the full story:
She was going to NYC, I believe. Plane was late due to weather. I worked for the airline and was tasked to accommodate Ms. Cattrall with a private room - out of the terminal- until we rebooked her.
From the moment I greeted her and her adorable mature cat - who was indeed in a fancy carrier - until her next flight, she was SUCH a thoughtful, kind, APPRECIATIVE and genuine person. She sat in a small boardroom with her cat until we could take her to the terminal to board the next plane.
Did not expect special treatment and was unforgettably AMAZING about the situation. Far from a diva! Which makes her the REAL thing.
I’ll never forget that interaction. She deserves to be LOVED and appreciated by us! She’s one of the best celebrities I’ve met. And I’ve met many of them when travelling.
You know who was the WORST?!?! Bethany Frankel! Skinny B drink lady. The most entitled nobody I’ve ever met. Literally had to google her to know who she was.
Among the best: Ethan Hawke, Julianne Moore and, surprise! Jake Gyllenhaal!

It’s so weird you would choose the interviews to base your judgment on, rather than her actual interactions out in the real world.
She looks great! No overkill with botox or plastic surgery. She is a natural beauty. She was my favourite character on the show. I never quite believed that a woman who looked like SJP could get all those gorgeous men.
I don't care for her (SJP) never thought she was pretty, pretty much the opposite, but believe me there are tons of 'unattractive' women who for some unexplainable reason seem to attract the most incredible men and she (her character) is obviously one of them 🤷🏻♀️
I always thought SJP was homely going all the way back to her character on Footloose. With a big nose, squeaky voice, and angular frame there was just nothing appealing about her. What made the show work was the ensemble of the cast.

My friends met SJP as extras on one of her movies. They said she was one of the rudest people they’d ever met. They also thought she acted as if she was above them to even be decent.

Its always amazing to me how people think because characters on a TV show are "friends" that they would be be actual friends in their real lives.
Most people have trouble separating fantasy from reality.
Instead of trying to teach people that art is just entertainment, they've tried to make actors BE their actual characters instead. So I feel like it's gotten even worse.

People have this irrational desire for ensemble actors and rock band members to be friends in real life. This is so immature and delusional. You are not friends with each and every workmate. If these actresses did not really get along but managed to make their onscreen friendship seem credible, all power to them - it’s a testimony to their acting skills.
Well perhaps in rock bands that expectation is justified because they might be involved in the creative process of writing and building tracks from scratch. But not tv shows that are acted from scripts and directed by people totally disconnected to the actors
I really appreciate her standing up for herself. If we look back at the role she played in comparison to carries …. Samantha has proven to be the better example of a confident woman who doesn’t rely on men. And with this new show it further proves that SJPs vision of what aging women are really like or what we find important isn’t accurate as well.

I understand why Kim felt the way she did about the condolences she had received from Sarah, about her brother passing. Like she said, it did not feel genuine or healthy but somewhat toxic cause the same thing happened to me. My cousins who had every chance in the world to be in touch with me over the decades to see how I was doing and yet they chose my brothers passing to get in touch with me, in my grief... then asking me to reach out and catch up...huh...no thanks...wish them well but have absolutely no desire to ever catch up...

I loved the show. In it, Kim’s part was the only one where her character Samantha always accepted her friends for who they were and supported them without judgements of the kind which women get from men. And I feel that was due to Kim and what she brought to the part

Independent, real sassy and able to be vulnerable when she was in pain. I never knew what Kim Cattrell was really going through until now but i could see them all ganging up on her. I felt it on the show but couldn't put my finger on it. She has aged beautifully and I love her honesty. Best to you in the future with your new love. ❤
I love Kim, Emmy in Mannequin was amazing when I was a kid and she was the best character in SATC. She was the only real true friend to all of the women on that show.
Exactly! And then SJP as executive producer did a character assassination on Samantha in that unwatchable reboot. Making Samantha out to be money hungry and thats why she ended their relationship is ridiculous. Samantha offered Carrie money for her apartment when she wasted everything on shoes and then worked for free to help her sell her first book. Samantha was a self-made woman. Carrie married money. That storyline fed SJP’s vanity and narcissism.
It just seems like a clash of personalities; it happens in every workplace.

There have been about 20 seasons of the British genealogy series ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ most episodes of each series are good, but BY FAR the best episode EVER was Kim Cattrall’s. If you’re a fan of her, try and watch it. Her family background story, the truths that were uncovered, the long overdue mystery that was solved, and Kim Cattrall’s dignified yet shocked response was just brilliant viewing.
I saw that episode. Kim was fantastic in it and so kind to everyone. I saw another episode a year or two later, that Sarah was in, and she was not very nice to anyone. They traced her family back to the Salem Witchcraft Trials.

Kim Kattrall created an Iconic and Timeless Character: Samantha Jones. Although I loved each of the women and their characters, let's face it, Kim Kattral created the 'glue' for the series and the four of them. 'And Just Like That' had lost the spark ... the 'spark' being Kim. I thought she was honest, yet compassionate in this interview. She seems genuinely sad about how it all ended up.

From what I understand, SJP being the executive producer of the series affected their relationship negatively. This caused different payment among the actors; also SJP was more more in control which resulted for other actors to stay in the shadow. But I believe no matter what was done, Samantha was always shining in the series and was in key role. After 2nd movie didnt meet the expections (I thought it was kinda devaluing her character (samantha) in the 2nd movie) and I believe Kim was not happy and was not considering to take project further. After she was approached for further project, since she was moved on from SATC, she didnt accept and later costars and company blamed her for ruining the show and not respecting her decision. After not having a good relationship with costars and executives (SJP included), when she lost her brother, I think she was upset, (because if the friendship was real, you call the person, you dont quote her in the social media.) So Kim saw this as SJP trying to be a nice girl from a tragedy she was having and feelings were not genuine and using the situation, thats where the situation was exploded. This is how I understand at least. I think as a business decision maker SJP was following what she thought was right, however in real life, if the person is not feeling comfortable, it should be respected. I think when they were working there was a chemistry and professionalism, however the success of show, how show is growing put some pressure on people and that lead to chain to broke.

It was reported many times in the past how the other three froze her out from their clique. They were rude and mean girlish to Kim! I saw Kim tell off SJP over on IG a few years ago around the time when her (Kim’s) brother died.

Sometimes there’s no hero and villain. Both Kim and Sarah seem like lovely ladies. People don’t get along for whatever reason and sometimes it’s misunderstandings and that’s ok. I truly think we can appreciate both women and not feel the need to pit one against the other.

Saying ”she looks good for her age” is very passive aggressive and not in any way a compliment. For it to be a compliment the only thing needed to share is ”she looks good”. To say ”she looks good for her age” holds so much misogyni, as if a woman is only beautiful as long as she looks youthful and then it holds the dea that when a woman is over 40 she is not suppose to look good because she is no longer a teen or in her 20s. This male adapted idea so many women take on and put down other women is very sad, because it also shows how this hatred torwards women have been internalized by many girls/women too.
