Kim made Samantha an iconic character! Ever since she left SATC, the show didn't reach the same success! Samantha WAS SATC. Kim was the star of that show hands down.

She's trying to adress a very sad issue; the fact that most women are not sexually satisfied in their relationship and the lack of communication. And he keeps cutting her off the whole time. Utterly annoying and disrespectful. I am so impressed she can keep her smile.

He keeps interrupting when she is about to say something interesting too, loves the sound of his own voice.
He really is tiring. Instead of interviewing the guest, he uses the guest as a foil so he can talk about himself, tell what he imagines are his funny jokes, take the story where he wants it to go, etc.

I’m not like Samantha in the least bit, so couldn’t identify with her , that said I can unequivocally say that character made that show. Her honesty and humility transpired in Samantha. As opposed to Carrie who is considered one of the worst characters in tv history. Especially when I'm 41 now and rewatch it, Carrie/Sarah is very toxic.
It is rather arrogant and I don’t believe what she says considering she had NO CAREER and her best part had been being a Vulcan on Star Trek VI .
