There is a small difference in Low rpm power (+3HP for the 511)
in this case
the 449 runs with power commander and Akrapovic full titanium carbon exhaust with powerbomb,looks like a can of soda welded to the exhaust
the 511 has the full titanium akrapovic without powerbomb and without powercommander
so,to get to this kind of results you'llbe saving 800$ but will be investing in extra powerparts
the 511 is a fine choice , but when you add some powerparts to the 449 the result are the same .

yeah, the stock exhaust is way too restricted, so a alternative exhaust system is almost required. at the time the akrapovic was all that you could get for the new huskys but now they are other alternatives.
the akropovic is a genuine husky part and comes with a ECU (replacing the stock ecu), so it will run out of the box without PCM needed.
so in this vid => smr511 (akrapovic+ecu) VS. Smr449 akrapovic+powerbomb+PCM)

How often must you service and change oil etc? and is this bike any good for the street?
