Oil in airbox? Common problem. Cause and solution. | Husqvarna 511 / 449 & BMW G450X

When I got an idea to buy Supermoto and was looking at SMR511, I went to forum and ask around. Almost 1st thing that I heard, that those bikes have this problem, but it can be resolved.
Years later, here I am. Been through it =)

Пробовал ставить штуцер угловой на 511ю, масло как лило так и продолжало лить из воздушного фильтра, dmd решил проблему.

I have this problem. I have a BMW G450X and in some cases the airbox collects oil and this oil wet the electric fire. THIS IS A PROBLEM.
Other solution is to install a collector in the airbox and using a pipe removes this oil to the chain, for example.
What do you think?

Sounds a bit complicated. And, considering that there are trustworty solutions, unreasonable.

I installed a breather vent cap in the valve cover of my G450X. It fits perfecte and I think I solved the problem.

I have a 2014 KTM 125SX. I'm noticing sticky oil leaking out of the air box. It's like the filter oil is liquifying and leaking out of the air box. Anyone know what this is? New problem for us. Just started after the last filter change.

Update. I talked to my dad the motorcycle professor. He thinks the reeds are shot and the gas mixture is blowing past the reeds and into the air box, soaking the filter. The gas mixture liquifies the filter oil and then it oozes out of the air box. I'll check the reeds and see if that's it.

@@jayeye4798 I hope It will solve your problem mate. Coz what I'm talking about here probably has nothing to do with ur bike. It was (is) problem of this particular model. And it was there from the day one you use it =)
