    its a little late i know. that header pipe being red hot means its running lean as hell. rejet it if it has a carb and if its fuel injected put baffle back in it. this is more of a future reference for ya.

      Prius is doing awesome! I am still hauling motorcycles with it, get 38 mpg when pulling the trailer.

    sad to see the bike so worn out I own one...
    If the bike has the radial brake fork then the forks are from the smr
    the header pipe from fmf was only made for the TC 449 thats why it didnt fit
    also look out for the stator failure which is caused by the flywheel bolts

    the side panel seemed like it burned so definitely check the breather pipes from the gas tank
    as for more help there is a facebook group with many members in it who constantly help fellow owners

      a common problem which occurs when driven hard or abused is that the clutch feels like its slipping...the clutch is so strong it rarely slips the problem would be the torque limiter which then slips
      there are some threads about it when the problem occurs
      also a good site for parts is www.italhusky.com but I dunno what the shipping price can cost

      @@huskymoto4713 I don’t got fb but I’m swapping a smr449 for my 09 Wr450f he said it starts good and rides but it dies when you ride it abit hard under revs is this normal
      And now what do I look for to know if it’s a genuine SMR??
      It has brembo brakes radial master
      Supermoto rims with the Husqvarna logo

      @@GIXXRBRAH750 the most common problem is the fuel pump maybe its the same case
      And yes if it has the big brembo radial brake it should be the original smr

      Actually they were still assembled in Italy following BMW's purchase from MV Agusta/Cagiva, as far as I could tell from my research.
