What is Shoto's motivation for becoming a hero aside from his father insisting since he was born? he doesn't have one. There's a reason Deku and Bakugou are the two students whose passion and drive motivate the others. There's a reason why Shoto isn't on that list that Aizawa gave to Joke because he isn't driven like those two.He isn't passionate about becoming a hero like Deku and Bakugou.
To be honest, the only reason for Bakugo to become a hero is his childish belief in the asumption that heroes always win, fundamentally, all that interests him is kicking asses by exploding everything, we are far enough from the essence of the hero. However, the League of Villains doesn't have much to offer him, but, who knows, another group of villains may well have an ideology able to seduce him, in the future...

He also picked Compress' pockets, baited Dark Shadow towards Moonfish, and carried Deku around half the night. Adding that to his three saves from Season 1, Shoji has one of the highest tallies of saving his classmates.

But gotta love the character and writing of this show. You know this is stupid, this is a bad idea, they shouldn't even be thinking about it. And yet, you also understand why they are. And with this much stress already, ohhhhh boy the next few weeks are going to be something else. As to the traitor, the most common theory I keep seeing for a traitor (at least among the students) is Kaminari.....for some reason. Most of them tend to be stretches, but he seems to be the one that is always near the top of the suspect list. Personally, I have two theories. Both hinge on the fact that the information came to Shigaraki via AfO, not from the source directly. 1. It's not actually a traitor, but All For One having some quirk they don't know about (among his who the hell knows how many others) that is letting him find this stuff out. 2. And I know it's not likely, but is just a pet theory, it's Principal Nezu, but not willfully and he doesn't know he is. I'm thinking that Nezu wasn't some uber-unique never before seen case of a quirk just manifesting in an animal and upping their intellect AND anthropomorphize him, but rather was created by All For One as part of some of the early experiments that led to creating Nomu's. That Nezu doesn't even know this himself, and that AfO left in subliminal programming in Nezu he can activate to make Nezu do what he wants, without remembering it ever happened. Also, on the hyper common fan theory bit. After this ep, due to the combination of Dabi refusing to reveal his actual name, him having a fire quirk, and the way he seemed to really enjoy seeing Todoroki fail and the way his remark felt kind of personal, it's started the theory that Dabi is Endevour's kid. Either an earlier "failed" attempt to create his perfect All Might destroyer he cast aside for not being good enough, or maybe even just a case of Endevour having knocked up his mom and then told her to take a hike. And, let's face it, having a dad like Endevour would make it pretty easy to buy into Stain's ideology.

Iida is right; they are stupid for going into such a dangerous situation, these villains are clearly organized, and possess lethal and powerful quirks and have proven themselves multiple times that they’re capable of dealing with people, who up till now, have shown they can handle anything thrown at them, but look at Tsu, society has ingrained in her that to go against it at all for whatever reason, even if it’s the right thing to do, makes you automatically a *Villain* , and i can totally see why she would be the one to have that thought process too; she’s a Mutation type quirk user, her quirk is legitimately her body, she can’t turn it off or on and yet it is illegal for her to use it without licensing. That means from a young age she’s been constantly told “Don’t do anything not considered “human” or we could get into big trouble” do you know what kind of damage that could do to a young child? I could see them asking questions like “But...aren’t we human?”. Like could you imagine trying to explain to a child that her existence is in a way, a Crime? God i live this show lol it’s so Fantastical yet tries to be so grounded in reality.
@@skelitonking117 Yes, I understand your point about the lack of professionalism of All Might and the great amount of negative things that the society of Heroes has, and your example of Tsuyu was fantastic, she is one of my favorite characters and I had never thought about in the kind of life she might have had. But in this specific case of going to save Bakugo, it is not simply the fact that they are breaking the rules, but that they were risking to hinder the work of the professionals and also that some of them died and therefore not only harm themselves but also their school and basically fuck the dreams and opportunities of the rest of the students. But well, despite all that Deku and his group achieved their mission and Aizawa basically forgave them because of course, this story is about the students and we do not want them to suffer real consequences to show them how the damn real world works because the important thing is they wanted save their friend and do not feel bad about themself.
Now that you’ve seen all the Villains of the Vanguard... The two strongest, experienced villains are Muscular and Moonfish. These were the two that were mentioned by Magne, and have the highest villain tier in their group, both being A-Tier villains.
SuperSonic SpeedStyle Muscular was off by himself in an undisclosed area of an already undisclosed area. Kurogiri couldn’t possibly find him with his coordinate warp. Mr. Compress witnessed Moonfish get trampled by a berserker Dark Shadow, and saw that he was completely crippled. Now, this isn’t to diminish their strength. Muscular can tank 3 100% OFA punches like nothing, and it took a hysterical Deku to only KO him. Moonfish held off Bakugo and Todoroki no sweat, and could easily lop off limbs. It had to take an uncontrollable variable to take him out the picture. [Slight Spoiler] Their strength will be recognized in Season 4...by Overhaul

Muscular and Mustard were deep in the forest so there would be no time to scour around and find them. Kurogiri only came for Spinner and Magne since they were fighting the Pussycats in the open. If Mr. Compress can sneak behind the group taking Bakugo and Tokoyami without making a sound what was stopping him from recovering and compressing Moonfish if he saw the fight unveil?
This was the episode where I began to ship Kirishima and Bakugou. Like did you see how desperate he was to save him at the training camp and how he called Bakugo his friend. Ah my boys
I love your faith in Bakugo - because of his anger, I saw a lot of people who fully believed he'd switch sides. But you SEE Bakugo for who he is. A very stubborn boy.
That question was so low for Kirishima to ask, for one Midoria has very much proven in the past that he will literally do what it takes to reach his friends, two he's not going to want the rest of his friends hurt, three he is smart, so he could very well think of a plan to get to Bakugo.

Bakugou has too much drive and focus to become a hero greater than All Might to change sides that quickly. Also, can I just point out how Bakugou said, "Stay back, Deku." As if he actually cared what happened to him. That's another reason to convince you he doesn't completely hate Deku, and he wants him to be safe. It was probably the reason why he bullied him as a kid because he had no quirk, hoping that Deku would be safer if he chose I job suited for him. At least, that's what I hope to believe.
@Emilio Valdovinos There's no reason that he knew for summer camp ;). Maybe there's no traitor ( there's many other explanations ), and if traitor there is, it's a staff member of Yuei. That being said, even in this case, nothing obliges Horikoshi to have already decided it, he could simply let the more or less smoking hypothesis abound and choose, at the last moment, simply someone not being, or little, suspected. In the hypothesis of a traitor, I would opt for Midnight, first cause nobody suspects her, and for many other reasons but going into details would forced me to technically spoil. Anyway, it's not tomorrow that the possible answer to this thorny question will be given in the anime ;).
Watching back at this now that we know who the traitor was.... Ayoamma..do you think the fact he stops looking at the camera implies that? I don't remember if he continues to do it after this episode tho.
That's Deku for ya. He can be broken up, both arms completely shattered, to "if it was just a bit worse it'd be amputation time" but he'll still worry about everyone else. I love this kid but really, he needs an intervention because this is unhealthy

The villains knew all their names, prime example Toga name dropping Tsuyu and Uraraka, not long before that they were broadcasted on national TV. I don't think it crossed Shoto's mind that his identity being known meant anything at that moment.

Haven’t scene the rest of the season but I’m interested in Bakugo being a villian if only a heel on the villians who will fight off the hero’s but then turn on the Villians. Also cause I love seeing deku and kirishima fighting him and having those betrayed moments but it probably won’t happen
This is where I start crying inside bc I forgot zamber ships kachako and not kiribaku so she'll miss all the moments (I ship both, but kiribaku is a little more prominent in just the next few eps)
While my favourite part of this episode is Bakugo's heartfelt plea for Deku to stay back, I cannot overlook Aoyama's beautiful time to shine~ It's at this point he proved why he belongs in the hero course.

Am i the only who doesn’t grasp this level of respect for authority? My friends lives are in danger do you really think i’d really care about Red tape at that point? If you need a license to save someone you’re not a Hero. I honestly really love how the society in this show is written tho, it’s almost as if it itself is a character that grows and changes along with the cast because it allows for it to have a constant impact on the characters actions and even thoughts, Take Tsu for example; she compared them to criminals, called them *VILLAINS* for wanting to save someone just because it would involve using a natural, bodily function without a license, Hell the MC in Vigilantes is called a Villain simply for picking up garbage in a park; i feel the worst for mutation type quirk users tho (which Tsu is) they can literally be considered criminals for just...being (Which is, sadly, probably why Tsu is so keen on following the rules; she’s probably been berated in her life and had “Don’t do anything considered not to be “Human” drilled into her from a young age)

Iida is right; they are stupid for going into such a dangerous situation, these villains are clearly organized, and possess lethal and powerful quirks and have proven themselves multiple times that they’re capable of dealing with people, who up till now, have shown they can handle anything thrown at them, but look at Tsu, society has ingrained in her that to go against it at all for whatever reason, even if it’s the right thing to do, makes you automatically a *Villain* , and i can totally see why she would be the one to have that thought process too; she’s a Mutation type quirk user, her quirk is legitimately her body, she can’t turn it off or on and yet it is illegal for her to use it without licensing. That means from a young age she’s been constantly told “Don’t do anything not considered “human” or we could get into big trouble” do you know what kind of damage that could do to a young child? I could see them asking questions like “But...aren’t we human?”. Like could you imagine trying to explain to a child that her existence is in a way, a Crime? God i live this show lol it’s so Fantastical yet tries to be so grounded in reality.
@@skelitonking117 Yes, I understand your point about the lack of professionalism of All Might and the great amount of negative things that the society of Heroes has, and your example of Tsuyu was fantastic, she is one of my favorite characters and I had never thought about in the kind of life she might have had.
But in this specific case of going to save Bakugo, it is not simply the fact that they are breaking the rules, but that they were risking to hinder the work of the professionals and also that some of them died and therefore not only harm themselves but also their school and basically fuck the dreams and opportunities of the rest of the students. But well, despite all that Deku and his group achieved their mission and Aizawa basically forgave them because of course, this story is about the students and we do not want them to suffer real consequences to show them how the damn real world works because the important thing is they wanted save their friend and do not feel bad about themself.
They aren't trying to hurt or kill bakugo they are trying to turn him over to their side so plot armor is irrelevant

The two strongest, experienced villains are Muscular and Moonfish. These were the two that were mentioned by Magne, and have the highest villain tier in their group, both being A-Tier villains.

Muscular was off by himself in an undisclosed area of an already undisclosed area. Kurogiri couldn’t possibly find him with his coordinate warp. Mr. Compress witnessed Moonfish get trampled by a berserker Dark Shadow, and saw that he was completely crippled.
Now, this isn’t to diminish their strength. Muscular can tank 3 100% OFA punches like nothing, and it took a hysterical Deku to only KO him. Moonfish held off Bakugo and Todoroki no sweat, and could easily lop off limbs. It had to take an uncontrollable variable to take him out the picture.

Muscular and Mustard were deep in the forest so there would be no time to scour around and find them. Kurogiri only came for Spinner and Magne since they were fighting the Pussycats in the open. If Mr. Compress can sneak behind the group taking Bakugo and Tokoyami without making a sound what was stopping him from recovering and compressing Moonfish if he saw the fight unveil?

Like I said in my comment, Moonfish was crippled beyond repair. He lost his teeth, and therefore, his quirk.

@Emilio Valdovinos There's no reason that he knew for summer camp ;). Maybe there's no traitor ( there's many other explanations ), and if traitor there is, it's a staff member of Yuei. That being said, even in this case, nothing obliges Horikoshi to have already decided it, he could simply let the more or less smoking hypothesis abound and choose, at the last moment, simply someone not being, or little, suspected.
In the hypothesis of a traitor, I would opt for Midnight, first cause nobody suspects her, and for many other reasons but going into details would forced me to technically spoil. Anyway, it's not tomorrow that the possible answer to this thorny question will be given in the anime ;).
Watching back at this now that we know who the traitor was.... Ayoamma..do you think the fact he stops looking at the camera implies that? I don't remember if he continues to do it after this episode tho.

I honestly really love how the society in this show is written tho, it’s almost as if it itself is a character that grows and changes along with the cast because it allows for it to have a constant impact on the characters actions and even thoughts, Take Tsu for example; she compared them to criminals, called them *VILLAINS* for wanting to save someone just because it would involve using a natural, bodily function without a license, Hell the MC in Vigilantes is called a Villain simply for picking up garbage in a park; i feel the worst for mutation type quirk users tho (which Tsu is) they can literally be considered criminals for just...being (Which is, sadly, probably why Tsu is so keen on following the rules; she’s probably been berated in her life and had “Don’t do anything considered not to be “Human” drilled into her from a young age)
