I think once they fix bile titans head hitbox, it'll be s tier.

I was trying recoiless yesterday and the damned titan ate 4 of my shots to the head and was still standing
i've seen bile titans killed with 2 shots. but i don't think it's reliable enough, probably most times will be 3.

Don't use the laser guide if you shoot at BT head, I always find the laser guide somehow screw with the flight path and missile trajectory.
You gotta hit the top of the head for two most times
It will be in my loadout and will be dropped all over the map like the EATs were. For sure.
I hope they make a support weapon that fires guided spear rocket. Just like real world ATGM. But I guess this is good too.
The commando is awesome at killing fabricators and bug holes. Accuracy not required.
COMMANDO + EAT + sentry cannon + Air Strike awesome good combo for bugs.
For the sporepewer, it also depends on the distance you fire it from. I shot one from close and it only took 2 shots.

Okay, I just used it on a bunch of missions at level 7, and I absolutely love it. It's replacing the quasar in my loadout for sure.
2 shots on the Bile Titan's head is totally situational senario, at least in my case.
I tried when the Titan spews, when stop spewing, in the mouth while vomiting, side to the mouth, forehead, everything. I was very careful with my shots cause I also want to test if the commando actually lets me free of the cheesy Quasar(as it is after the nerf), but sometimes it's just doesn't connect. Not only this weapon, everything that I hit the Titan (for Support Weapons) feels random. Sometimes it favors you and the Titan goes down easy with 2 clean shot but as I said doesn't happen the majority of times.
If they fix this like they fixed all the anti tanks against Chargers, it's S tier weapon.
The cooldown (cause I see complaints about that) is actually balanced good if:
1. You have fully upgraded your ship regarding stratagem cooldowns.
2. There is no bs modifier on the planet.
I hear ya bro, you can hit the exact same spot on a titan with the same rockets twice, with no previous damage affecting it, and expect a dice roll for what happens. If anything at all.
@anthonykissin8228 Today, I had many good missions with the Commando. I did some clean 2shots on Titans, but I have to be sure to state this. I believe that Peak Physique passive greatly helps this weapon cause you can direct the rocket with the laser to Titan's forehead easier. People say different spots for Titan's weakness, but in my case, the 2tap happened with the forehead shot when there was no vomit action. I also tried EAT together with the Commando. Mixed feeling about that cause most of the time you are on the run from bugs pushing. This is my only concern using EAT. If you have a team going all together and you can be stationary, you will be the anti heavy unit itself, they will not have to use any stratagem at all. You are the stratagem xD. But let's be honest, when matchmaking, this will probably not going to happen.
Seems good. 2 rockets is roughly 1 EAT, except you can carry 4 with you instead of just 1 EAT so you have more killing power ready "at your fingertips". Longer CD makes it half the damage-per-minute if just standing in 1 spot and spamming the stratagem off CD, but that's made up for by the ability to snipe 4 fabricators in one go and the ability to kill behemoths without picking up a 2nd EAT (and possibly calling it down first).

I constantly get 2 shot kills for some reason i cant even 2 shot a bile titan with a recoilless, eat or quasar even though my shots are on point.
But people was talking trash in a game yesterday day where i dominated the whole lobby.
Primarily - your choice mine was blitzer for add control
Secondary was nade pistol also for add control or bug nest
Stratagems.
Depending on your style
For speed and height advantage jump pack , for protection shield generator bag pack.
Eat 17 for chargers, commando for bile titans
Last of all either Napalm strike, machine gun turret or my favourite Motor strike throw it in in a hard to destroy spot then mark a bug breach and it destroys everything
I REALLY don't like how used Commandos stay on the map. It's a total mess, looking for dropped samples and equipment.
I could understand if they still had ammo remaining, they could stay on the map. But they should definitely despawn if they're empty.
I don't think it's intended design and it's a bit buggy with throwing it away when empty as well. I fire all my shots and sometimes it gets automatically dropped other times I have to drop it manually.

I think this is the best behemoth charger slayer in terms of rockets purely for the rapid fire nature of the weapon, 2 quick shots and they are done, where the RR you need to reload and EAT you need to pick up the other, then the spear you need to be a distance away from them
Spear won't always one shot things anyways. If you are just a little too close or too far, requires a 2nd and sometimes 3.
Rapid fire is clutch. No dancing around it with stuns.
You may be able to rapid fire it, but it's still only two kills for roughly a minute and a half cooldown that you're basically screwed in-between if you don't have some other answer to chargers or bile titans in the meantime. Recoilless gets a full six kills upon drop (just walk forward when hitting a Behemoth's leg and it'll break it in one shot and finish it off afterward) and still has the option to drop a resupply and top off when needed.
@@vigkvagkv2 it seems your using it as your one and only support weapon if thats your problem with it, use it like an EAT and pair it with other support weapons and you'll see it's strength, pair it with EAT in particular to always have rockets without the need for a backpack or resupplies

I'm curious to know how fast you can fire the Commando. Some weapons like the AMR can shoot surprisingly fast if you just mash the trigger.
U can shoot all 4 rockets in the span of like 2-3 secs
@lammyjammy you can rocket dump in 1s. It's like shooting AC on automatic mode, but with no recoil and you get insanely high DPS. (Something like 1800 AP4 with all 4 rockets)

Holy crap, this smoked the bile titan in just 3 shots!? Insane.
3 shots to bile titan, more consistent than EAT or recoiless. Then 2 shots to behemoth head. If they dont buff EAT or Recoiless they will be obsolete
It's only two to the bile titan head. 450 damage at 6 AP. In this video he moved his laser pointer after firing and the first shot didn't land on the head hitbox.
@Testeverything521 yeah you can 2 shot with great precision to the "bugged" BT head.
I prefer it to be the other way around. Nerf that thing. I’d rather for it to be good against bots because of their lower armour and you hitting their eye, then have EAT be specialised against bugs instead.
Recoiless rifle is good as it is with the recent reload buff. Don’t want it one shotting bile titans and I also don’t want it to one shot behemoth. Normal chargers are fine. I also don’t need an even faster reload. I’m happy with where it is right now, just need to fix the head hitbox so that my hits actually damages the titans.
The one thing I don’t want the game to become is too easy. After having teammates use it, titans have become fodder enemies as they die the moment we have eyes on it. I’m more than happy using tactics to take down titans, like breaking their backs with the 110m then killing them with explosive damage on the exposed area. I’m currently using the arc thrower which takes a lot of skill to master and I’m also using it against damaged bile titans. Then I use it against behemoth and the fight becomes like a mini boss fight where I have to dodge it and whatever enemies are around like a WoW dungeon fight (prioritise adds). Sometimes there’s 3 chargers and I’m juggling between them. That’s my definition of fun when the game challenges me and pushes me to play well to survive instead of just one shotting everything easily
@jesspeed yeah, since AH nerfed the bile titan spawns you only get to up to 3 of these PER mission (on level 7 or above). You sometimes get like 5-6 per mission on level 9. So it doesn't really matter any way, since you can just 2 shot with 110mm Rocket Pods or use the KG, OPS per the usual.
Recoiless is nice if you have distance. But with bugs, you rarely have a safe distance to reload before getting pounced.
@@GooiYingChyi Biggest buff for the recoiless would be if everyone could team reload you, using your own ammo, instead of need to have the specific backpack.
Spear oneshots everything, hard to compete
But you have to get a perfect angle that is often a result of your enemies' mistakes and not your skills. And the ammo economy is pretty harsh when you miss. Plus, the reload time can be annoying.
Plus it takes backpack slot.
yeah but this two shots everything, has the same ammo count (although tbf you can get the backpack refilled), takes a backpack slot, has a long reload time, requires time, albeit very little, to reload, and has a way longer cooldown time. There is still a use for the spear. its still a great weapon. But especially when bile titans are fixed, i would argue the commando is even better than the spear even if its a bit weaker per hit

People need to realize Commando is a fabricator (and bughole from ANY ANGLE) destroyer, first and foremost. In that respect, it completely nukes Spear and takes a permanent place in my loadout against bots.
I just call it "better EAT".

As you said, 3 hits for mushroom is a bit high, coz for shrieker nests it might be same. For 3 you need 3 and thats crazy. on the other hand, titan in 3 heads is awesome and chargers in 2 is awesome too.
is it high? EAT would need 3 calldowns too, and you'd use all of them whereas with commando each one would still have one rocket left over. I feel like there's enough advantages (like killing fabricators in 1 hit) that it needs some disadvantage too otherwise the EAT just becomes trash tier.
@@emissarygw2264 but eat takes 60 seconds while this takes 120. So you need 6 minutes instead of 3. So use your head And Tell me, does 3 vs 6 looks good for you?
@@emissarygw2264 eat kills charger in 1 hit. This needs 2 And thx to chaos that Is on Battlefield, you may need 3-4 instead. Same with the titan. 3 Is best case scenario. As with eat sometimes you need 3 eats And so with this you sometimes needs 5-6 So yeah Its better for the holes but most people use Grenade pistol for those And dont need eat or commando So again. Your point Is to make commando worse with cooldown? So with eat you use 12 shoots which means 12 chargers or 6 titans in 6 minutes while commando 12 hits kills 6 chargers or 3 titans in 6 mins... See the difference Now? So yeah there Is disadvantage already and big one... Sorry to inform you.
@@emissarygw2264 one more thing tho, if you want to use eats or commando for holes, the eat have a little disadvatage over commando coz time, while commando still isnt great for it too, in case of holes or fabricators, you should rather use auto cannon or grenade launcher if you ask me. Especially since eat is used as backup stratagem for bosses and not as primary one, you can take flame or hmg or mg43, arc, amr and use eat only for titans and chargers so main purpose for commando is different than for eat, eat is for killing and emergency destroy of holes while commando is for bug holes and mushrooms and emergency for bosses...
@@ladislavtrojan8765 yeah, and if you can miss a shot with commando you can miss a shot with eat too... Eat you can carry only 1 with you, commando 4. That means you can immediately kill 2 chargers without needing a call down or picking up from a stratagem. Or you can kill 4 in a row with call down vs 3 with eat. Commando kills 4 fabricators from any direction or distance, no need for vent shot or lock on.
If it’s cool down was 30 sec less and it 2 shot spore spewers and shrieker nests, I’d take it over the spear
But as is, I still like my spear better 😊
Actually bile titan take 2 shot on the head but not 3 shot... 1 shot probably you miss the shot of the head

Great gun but CD is too long. Can't see myself using it really ever on diff 9. MAYBE on Automaton Blitz but that would literally be it.
@Rich-in6ds that's what I thought. I have been playing level 7 with flying patrol spawns only, since getting all the ship modules for cd reduction takes too many samples. It is not worth going on level 8 or 9 because the cooldown modifier will make Commando feel very sucky
