you do realise that exercising in itself is a form of stretching? when you contract and relax a muscle, it stretches. if you are already lifting, warm up with stretches if you'd like, but its not really going to change much.
I pulled that muscle hard and walked with a cane for 2 weeks overdoing a certain.... activity with a partner ..... he's totally right. Stretch that thing.
