Yeah, he's the reason that I am alive, in 2018 I self harmed and told my parents that I wanted to kill myself. His music has saved my life I am 2 years clean from self harm and I am in a much better place now In September I'm going to college to train to become a seamstress and a photographer. I wish I could meet him one day and thank him in person for saving my life.

The part about just meeting Colson Baker really struck me. I've noticed in more recent interviews that he's changed a lot. He's not full intensity from start to finish. I also feel like he's not using drugs as much anymore? He's not sober or anything but his usage is definitely not as dangerous as it used to be. He seems happier and more sure of himself. And more confident in a way? Not in the rockstar way he was before, but more like he's not using the rockstar to cover up the person. I like this new guy a lot and I'm excited to see what he does. :)
As far as drugs pretty sure he just smokes weed, eats shrooms and acid from time to time but mostly weed and shrooms.

My aunt is the security manager for the museum in Syracuse that the movie was filmed in there is a scene that never made it into the movie but she told me that mgk was in a full on cowboy outfit in a pool floatie just chilling in the fountain outside of our museum
This was really good. He was very open and honest. And it was very insightful. I’m glad he realized he needed to step away and step back from those people in his life that weren’t looking out for his best interests. So many of those artist like him get used up and thrown away and never make their way back. And sadly many end up dead, just like he mentioned. He has grown a lot, it shows. I hope he continues to grow and continues to have success and happiness in his life. 🙏🏼
Everything he says is really dark so he has to laugh and make it seem like no big deal so people don’t feel worried or sad for him.
But he has this light inside of him that you can see when he faces directly into the camera, I hope he’s still with us for many many many years ❤️

I've been a fan MGK since I was like nine, but I've always been afraid of seeing him in person. I already have concert anxiety so I wouldn't want to go to a meet up or something and a person I really admire be kind off put by me or maybe even a little mean. I understand that people have persona's--what you see isn't always what you get. I'm just glad that he's now getting to know Colson and showing the world he's not just one thing. (I've never heard any stories of him being mean to his fans or anything. It was just a thought that crossed my mind, personally)

Hearing that he and Yungblud have a couple songs in the works actually stokes me. I was always off n on with MGK, like I didn’t dislike him but I just never got into his music as I kinda was a rock/alternative person and he just never bit my radar. Then I heard I Think I’m Okay (being a huge fan of Yungblud) and man his music’s changed my life from there on out. I wish I’d found him way earlier because he’s easily one of the most slept on artists today. Not a long time fan but a huge one nonetheless 🤘
