Water dirt mud and snow. As close as those wheels run to the body of that chest, in certain conditions you’ll wind up dragging that thing and the wheels will not be turning.
That thing is actually STRONGER than described because I’m sure Milwaukee was referring to an evenly distributed load across the lid of 250 lbs. Your weight was concentrated to your feet and at one point just one foot. I have mostly DeWalt stuff but these Packout products are incredibly impressive. That’s pretty nice-like fo sho. 👍
The only Milwaukee products I own are packout. I own Dewalt everything else and I don't regret switching to Milwaukee just for the packout, it is just so much superior.
Not a contractor or anything, but I’m probably getting one of these. I’ve been using either a soft flight bag, or a crappy rolling tote to transport my kit to and from ranges, and to work(to go out to training), but I like the idea of using this and the other packout stuff to organize all the different items I need before heading out (if anyone has ever looked at military specific gear like this, it’s just as or more expensive 😂)
when you got everything in box. tools and power cords. how much dose it weight. and get it on your truck. if have a lift gate on the back of truck? mobile .
I was looking at it last week,to me the major mistake is they made the locks for add on on the same direction so if you want to remove the toolbox that you put first, you have to remove the one in front,it would be so simple to put one by the back and one by the front,
I don’t think it’s a mistake. It seems very intentional. With the way the boxes lock it keeps them secured in a way that creates compression when the box is being rolled. If the back box was turned then the latches would be in tension and could be more prone to releasing or breaking.
It looks like it was set up inside for some dividers and one large divider or something else. I would like to see what that's about and how they work or maybe just a good look inside. Also, Internal and external dimensions would be useful.
My buddy has the pack out, and I have tough system, I can easily separate the boxes no matter what's stacked in mine. Both him and I have problems unlocking and separating them, but when you come down to it they're basically the same
What would you recommend to use to keep my M12 Drill, Impact, Hackzall, Light, and Screwdriver in? I need a decent small tool box for on the go. I'm a service tech, so I'm constantly moving from place to place.
This box is bigger than I thought. I am still waiting for Reee oh beeeee boxes. Between the makita Gnome, your evil twin and VCG , you got it pretty rough brother. Happy to see your not backing down. Glad you showed this box.🔥👍
So I wonder if you could use the new wall hanging accessories on the lid of this and use it standing on its end rather than laying on its back? And can the tool tray slide into what I’m assuming is slots for dividers?
The actual MAJOR FLAW with this is that both packout slots are facing the same side, which means you cannot remove whatever is mounted in the back unless you remove the boxes on the front. If they made the slots facing opposite sides you would have access to either slot without removing the other. Better yet, if they made the slots face the front (opening side of the chest) then you could even open the boxes without them touching the other. This is a bad design and whoever came up with it doesn't actually use a packout on a daily basis.
Of the three ways to design the way things lock in, this is the worse. It does have the advantage of "strength" in that if something fails to lock in place, when you lift it won't slide off.
@@noelv1976 if they had designed it front to back they could only fit one box top instead of 1 on each side. Speaking in terms of keeping the exact same dimensions. Also If they had designed it with the 2 boxes locking in opposite direction they could not have added the sliding arm that holds the lid locked open. This is the only design where they could keep the dimensions of the box and add all the features they wanted, there was no mistake, it's well thought out. Inconveniences and all.
Lol thanks for the video and the laugh. Good stuff! If I had to guess I’d say your from Dayton Ohio , you just remind me of people from here. We all have a few lose screws in this town for some reason lol.
Lol another great one TRZ. keep at it, persistence pays off, youll get him one day👍 I really like the form factor of the Milwaukee trunk. Its also bigger and can hold more tools then any of the rolling stack boxes of the stack systems.
Hay brother??? Do you think it's to big just because the original Milwaukee packout that's half the size I know when you overload it the box becomes pretty heavy and this basically twice the size is it too heavy to load into your truck or out of your truck or even up the stairs of a job site. Also hope everything is going well just been so busy with demo jobs. A lot of work going on here in long Island. I'll ttyl brother 🇺🇸💯👍
