Fun fishing with Beau. It would be easier and less hassle when fighting an active running salmon to move the extra pole forward out of Beau’s way. Then he can shift sides and keep tension on the fish, less chance of losing it. I talked with the young gal at the coffee stand and she mentioned her dad kippered salmon. Now I know how to do it. It only runs off of a auto pilot control and i haven't been able to get it to work since I've owned the boat. The motor runs great, i just need to get it into the shop to have the auto pilot looked at lol. Thanks for watching our videos 👍

So if your only 30ft down with the ball so how far back are you running from the ball?
In shallow water i like to get my flasher away from the prop wash, so I'm running it back about 20 to 25 feet back

@JC-es3rs it might actually be more like 30 35 ft now that i think about it. Deep water is probably more like 15 to 20 ft.
Pull that rod you keep fighting around. 2 seconds and freedom of the boat back. WE all hate having our pole snatched.
