Nice. Next month i will start the motorcycle course and i hope I'll get my licence soon. I'm driving cars for 13 years. Never driven a motorcycle before. I'm thinking of getting a suzuki SFV 650 gladius as my first bike. GSX-R would be too expensive.
I'm about to go look at my first bike in a few days. I've been looking into getting one. I have a few friends I want to go out with, but Ima be in a parking lot for a while XD.
I actually didn’t do it for TH-cam. For as long as I could remember I’ve wanted a sport bike. Tried getting one at 18, didn’t happen. Then tried again at 21, 23, 25, and 28. All of which failed at obtaining a bike. I’m now 31 starting this. But I like making videos and I want to create content. So I figured this would be something cool to try. Just documenting what it’s like as a 600 as a first bike. Taking it seriously and doing the right things. Just trying to promote an acceptable way of doing this.
@@Jefe-R Well you're obviously a sensible young chap, I'd have probably wrapped it round a lamp post by now. Have you tried the upper powerband yet, where the front wheel gets light?
I started on a cbr 600 when I was 16 and I’m also a female. It all depends on the rider. I didn’t leave parking lots for weeks. Didn’t even touch 3rd gear weeks. Some riders can handle it and some can’t
NEVER PUT YOUR KEY IN THE BIKE UNTIL YOU ARE SITTING ON IT, gloves and helmet on strapped ready to ride, so you dont get pushed out the way and bike is gone.
Congrats for you new bike. It is a really good bike, but not a good bike to start. It could be really scary for a beginner. I think it would have been a better idea to start with a used ninja 400 for 3 to 6 months then you could switch to a 600cc. Not saying you can not start with a 600cc, but it will be a lot a pressure on you. Anyway, it seems you already decided :-). Wish you the best. Have fun with you new bike. Stay safe
So I found out on the gsxr 600 there’s no low power mode. There’s two different a and b modes but honestly no idea what they do. Apparently it’s two different track modes. But no noticeable difference (I’m not going fast enough to notice ) but yeah now I don’t switch a or b I just leave it.
First time riding a motorcycle was a 2008 1300cc Busa.......never ridden a rocket in my life, only a 4 wheeler for 3 months.😂 Greatest feeling in the world..if I knew them what I know now... probably would have never even sat on the bike
This look like Spring Lake….anyway, I think it’s awesome that you motovlogged your first video……I am gonna do the first thing as soon as I get my bike…why? Why not?! The best thing about videos is they last forever, especially on the internet! Good job! And thanks for sharing! 🩷
This was the first time for me on the road in traffic yes. But to clarify, I spent a few days riding in a parking lot, And then did the msf course. So I did have some time on the bike but not much.
I can give you insights from another new riders point of view. I listen to myself and ride to my potential. Do the research. Watch the TH-cam videos on how to ride. Invest in good gear. Understand that when you mention motorcycles to most ppl you’ll get a horror story they have of one and how dangerous they are. Just prepare yourself correctly. Learn your bike. Know how to use the brakes, and be able to slow the bike down as fast as possible with out losing control of it. It’s an amazing experience and one I’m happy I finally did.
Look up Ride Like A Champion and sign up for their courses. It will greatly improve your riding skills. It's like adding years to your ability in a short amount of time.
It’s been 2 summers worth of practice and learning 😂. In that first video it was 3 hours in a parking lot before i started riding on the street. This is the only bike I’ve ridden. Only other experience I had was at the msf course, and a pw80 when i was 12 years old.
good bike but they have a few demons just respect it and stay in your skill level who gives a shit what anyone else thinks about how you ride just be safe man bike is clean man you did good which gopro are you using? it will also make a huge difference if you invest in someone to set your suspension up for you as far as normal riding if to tight its bad and to loose is bad plus it will help you from getting tired and sore set up the sag preload and compression and damping
Not trying to be the buzzkill guy but I'm gonna kill your buzz, way too fast for a starter bike,I think you honestly cheaped out, you cheaped out because faster bikes(USED) usually aren't all that expensive, because the current rider doesn't want anymore (probably almost died and pooed his pants for the last time) or because the current rider beat the absolute piss out of the bike. Too many people are too scared to say anything "perceived negative" there's nothing negative about wanting to see people not die and seeing people learning how to properly ride instead, IMO, starting on a bike with over a hundred fucking horsepower isn't a starter bike, that's an intermediate to expert level bike, a gsx 250 or something would have been better and you could actually pin the throttle on a 250 in the corner where as your 600 you'd be stupid af to pin the throttle on that bike without the proper know how. not everyone is the same, everyone has different abilities riding, true, but every noob is a noob for a reason and that's why 600cc class bikes aren't noob bikes, they're closer to expert level bikes. Be super careful, ride safe, have fun, and don't tell your friends 600cc bikes are starter bikes because they are not sir LOL
Sidenote, just because every squid and fuckboy who drives a sport bike will likely say "hahah its fine bro" It's not, 600cc bikes are dangerous af when you dont know what you're doing
Its really not a big problem to start on a 600😕, you know how many people that ik started out on a cbr1000r or a r1 and they never crashed nor had any issues with anything. Its all what u can afford and nothing is wrong to buy any bike once u can afford it buy it rmr a bike wont go faster than u want it too plus with all the technology today on bikes u can make a 1000 feel like a 600 or even a 400 , and its the same for the 600s u can make them feel like a 300cc bike. So just buy what u like thats my advice cuz it doesnt make sense to waste money to buy a 600 over a 1000 if u have the money when u can just switch modes and make the 1000 feel like a 600, and for the weight difference it isnt much to feel lol i said what i said
@@Jefe-Rbro just enjoy the 600 anyone can buy what they like, ppl actually want ppl to buy a 250 that doesnt even sound good plus some persons would buy a bike just cuz they love the sound of it, my theory is any speed can kill and any bike doesnt matter can kill, just buy what u like and practice, be careful rmr a bike wont go faster than u want it too
honestly i think starting on this is stupid. You seem super timid, scared to even go in the power band, aka the fun zone. Rightfully so, i might add. These are not beginner bikes. With ridermodes they can be easier to learn on but without they are unforgiving. And I can't imagine the seating position to be too comfy either, it's a race bike which you are riding like a 125 cc scooter. You are going to be learning your bike physics on that bike which means that you'll be dropping that bike likely more than your next bikes. and dropping that thing with fairings even from low speeds means a fairing makeover which is costly. But of course, if you have money then nothing's a biggie. But not even with money can you undo some critical injuries which you'll likely get with that bike. Not because it's a dangerous bike, no no, I ride an -01 zzr 1100 which has 150 hp that's my 5th bike. Started on a 50cc 2t moped, then had a second one of those, then bought a 500cc ER-5, then a 125 cc scooter, and now the zzr 1100. It was not a problem for me to maneuver my first big bike, the er-5, since I was already very familiar with how friction works, even though the power was a handful back then. also on that kind of standard bike the riding position is also much more comfortable and actually meant for the street, unlike that bike, which belongs to the track.
why you say?? from what I watched, I seen a very green rider in full gear who knows he dont really know what hes doing, thats 1000% better than most noobs who think they got it dialed in. this guy has a lot to learn but he has a better chance than the "super noob" who is destined for the pavement from the rip.

Next month i will start the motorcycle course and i hope I'll get my licence soon. I'm driving cars for 13 years. Never driven a motorcycle before. I'm thinking of getting a suzuki SFV 650 gladius as my first bike. GSX-R would be too expensive.
Which ever bike you get just be safe!
Looks like some good patience. Keep it up and you'll be around to see yourself hit zesty lap times
Keep it up on your content buddy🎉
I'm about to go look at my first bike in a few days. I've been looking into getting one. I have a few friends I want to go out with, but Ima be in a parking lot for a while XD.
Great you are taking it easy/slow. Dont push the skills to soon
can you ride figure 8's in a parking lot? that will help you not drop the bike or you might drop it practicing.
A GSX-R 600 as your first motorcycle? - The things we do for TH-cam!! At least you have youth and hopefully fast reactions on your side. 😂😂
Ohh yes, and it definitely gets light 😂. Very addictive feeling 😅
@@Jefe-R 😂 👍
I started on a cbr 600 when I was 16 and I’m also a female. It all depends on the rider. I didn’t leave parking lots for weeks. Didn’t even touch 3rd gear weeks. Some riders can handle it and some can’t
Congras on 500 I was the 500th one🥳
Thank you ! I have a new video going up shortly 🙌
NEVER PUT YOUR KEY IN THE BIKE UNTIL YOU ARE SITTING ON IT, gloves and helmet on strapped ready to ride,
so you dont get pushed out the way and bike is gone.
have you ever tried to get a key out of a pocket with gloves on? someone tries to push me out of the way they aint goin far, not far at all
@@dogdaze3689you’d be surprised. It happens all the time. I put mine in right before gloves, sitting on the bike.
That is a good practice bro but seeing this dudes city and neighborhood I doubt there's much crime
@@stunna7387facts
Congrats for you new bike. It is a really good bike, but not a good bike to start. It could be really scary for a beginner. I think it would have been a better idea to start with a used ninja 400 for 3 to 6 months then you could switch to a 600cc. Not saying you can not start with a 600cc, but it will be a lot a pressure on you. Anyway, it seems you already decided :-). Wish you the best. Have fun with you new bike. Stay safe
Jersey shore?
Is that Spring Lake / Belmar NJ area?
Looks like Spring Lake, New Jersey?
Where do you live, the houses look like castles lol
This is a beautiful area, is this next to the ocean? Where is this?
Brutal SUZUKI saund 😀💪
did you start in the low power mode?
So I found out on the gsxr 600 there’s no low power mode. There’s two different a and b modes but honestly no idea what they do. Apparently it’s two different track modes. But no noticeable difference (I’m not going fast enough to notice ) but yeah now I don’t switch a or b I just leave it.
@@Jefe-R I heard b mode was slower like only 60% and i wanted to start on one bc of that
The difference between A and B mode is reduce in power. A Mode is full power and B Mode is Rain Mode and it reduces about 40 hp.
Love r 600
Thank you!
@@Jefe-R thank pro
Beautiful bike
I love it
Yo thats point beach!!
First time riding a motorcycle was a 2008 1300cc Busa.......never ridden a rocket in my life, only a 4 wheeler for 3 months.😂 Greatest feeling in the world..if I knew them what I know now... probably would have never even sat on the bike
Why
😂 insane
nice stuff
Thanks! I appreciate it.
This looks like Long Branch\Asbury Park vibe. Jersey?
Close lol little more south Manasquan, point pleasant area
Love it lol just earned a subscriber@@Jefe-R. Hopefully I see you on the road once I finally do get a bike
you need to test this bad boy on some proper curvy roads not just on straight city roads. Hope you have some around your area. Good Luck from Europe!
I do! Has been raining here for the past 10days so has been difficult to even ride. :/
Congrats on the new bike.
Love that color. How much did you pay for it?
$7500
@@Jefe-R Nice bike. And also ballsy for a first bike. Safe travels.
Its ride top g 🤝
Curious what gloves do you have on there?
The gloves are alpinestars gp pro R3
damn what state is this? looks nice
This is New Jersey
what mic are you using for the go pro audio
The mic is a $10 mic I purchased from staples. In this video I’m using a hero 6 with the mic adapter
This look like Spring Lake….anyway, I think it’s awesome that you motovlogged your first video……I am gonna do the first thing as soon as I get my bike…why? Why not?! The best thing about videos is they last forever, especially on the internet! Good job! And thanks for sharing! 🩷
It is spring lake lol and thank you. Definitely make the video. 🙌
m4 slip on?
Knock off m4 slip on, catless
Love the vid but you make me nervous hugging the yellow line, it's very easy for a car to cross left of center and clip you
This guy is probably doing high speed runs with the boys now I bet 😄
Was this the very first time???
This was the first time for me on the road in traffic yes. But to clarify, I spent a few days riding in a parking lot, And then did the msf course. So I did have some time on the bike but not much.
Got any recommendations for new beginners
I can give you insights from another new riders point of view. I listen to myself and ride to my potential. Do the research. Watch the TH-cam videos on how to ride. Invest in good gear. Understand that when you mention motorcycles to most ppl you’ll get a horror story they have of one and how dangerous they are. Just prepare yourself correctly. Learn your bike. Know how to use the brakes, and be able to slow the bike down as fast as possible with out losing control of it. It’s an amazing experience and one I’m happy I finally did.
@@Jefe-R thank you I’m still getting comfortable on my bike only parking lots and back roads mainly until I get ready for the traffic and highway
Look up Ride Like A Champion and sign up for their courses. It will greatly improve your riding skills. It's like adding years to your ability in a short amount of time.
been looking at buying or financing a bike , how much more is full coverage? I’ve had a couple different quotes and some are insane
Full coverage in nj. Was $116 a month
@@Jefe-R thanks found a company that is 115 a month, thanks
@@Slow_Gixxerwhere at?
Geico gave me the best deal.
3 hours of practice for a 600 is craaazyyyyyyyy
What’s crazy ? That’s it not long enough right ?
@@ChapoRR yeah… but I didn’t understand if that’s all the practice he had or just with high cc
It’s been 2 summers worth of practice and learning 😂. In that first video it was 3 hours in a parking lot before i started riding on the street. This is the only bike I’ve ridden. Only other experience I had was at the msf course, and a pw80 when i was 12 years old.
Bruh I have the same exact bike 😂 dope
I cant wait to get my first bike
I’m so happy I finally did it!
Yo bro where did u get ur license?
Raceway park
im the 136 sub
good bike but they have a few demons just respect it and stay in your skill level who gives a shit what anyone else thinks about how you ride just be safe man bike is clean man you did good which gopro are you using? it will also make a huge difference if you invest in someone to set your suspension up for you as far as normal riding if to tight its bad and to loose is bad plus it will help you from getting tired and sore set up the sag preload and compression and damping
LAMS approve?
No
I don't understand how ppl are modding the bike before then can even ride it
3 Gire🙄
Off topic but why u live in a fantasy neighborhood lol shit looks like some creepy ass shit
🤣🤣🤣 I love where I live
hey man could you donate some money so i could buy a phone
I need a phone too so if you can both donate some it’d be great
gsxr 600 is a beginner bike a 636 is not
Sounds like hog , instant additional xtra 5 horses with this muffler
I’m gonna make a video soon addressing this. I agree with you, but I also disagree to a point.
You are going to hurt yourself, and your motorcycle
why you say?? from what I watched, I seen a very green rider in full gear who knows he dont really know what hes doing, thats 1000% better than most noobs who think they got it dialed in. this guy has a lot to learn but he has a better chance than the "super noob" who is destined for the pavement from the rip.
Big first bike hell yea be safe
You will be hoonin in no time…
buy one gsxr and look like every gsxr unless u paint it
