Mid summer update GSXR 600 vlog #16
Finally have gotten around to fixing my GoPro mount. My chin mount had fallen off due to extreme heat/ leaving my helmet in my car. I was enjoying not having a camera on my helmet for a good month. Turns out if you don’t have it mounted in the correct spot you feel all the weight of the camera. 🤦🏻♂️ Update : new alpinestars pants (missle v3), new Cardo, new mirror, new tires. A good pair of gloves goes a long way. The Alpinestars GP PRO R3 Gloves are great, but they definitely need to be broken in. Was not a fan when I first got them. I have one of these, a proper race bike. You need to have many years of riding experience, be very talented and be on a track to use anyway near the full potential of one of these bikes.

How twitchy is the power in a mode? Wondering if I should get a k7 or 8?
Between the 2 modes I couldn’t really feel any difference. Not something I even pay attention to anymore.
Bro should I buy 600 or 750
My first bike was a k7 GSXR 600 in 2007. It was my daily rain or shine. After some time I got fast then went too fast. One day I crashed for the first/only time. Lucky to have walked away unscathed and it took me a while to get back into riding. Now I’m riding and wrenching on a XSR 700. After my last trip through the hills I realized something… The XSR is all the bike I need but it ain’t the GSXR I want so I started rebuilding the old girl and aim to complete it by next season.
Glad you’re still here and still riding. Get that old girl back on the road 🙌🫡

This happened to me last week. It happened at night too. Had to get my wife to come out and jump start the bike just to get it home. I'm buying a rectifier and stator today. Hopefully I can have them fitted soon.

Mst hoodie is less hot than a full jacket. Bit pricey but its aramic lined and have the pads as well. They also make pants. Alpine also offers the same apparel. There's cheaper off brand options too.
I’ve been looking at different hoodies. But with the season almost over I’ll probably get one next year

It’s been 2 summers worth of practice and learning 😂. In that first video it was 3 hours in a parking lot before i started riding on the street. This is the only bike I’ve ridden. Only other experience I had was at the msf course, and a pw80 when i was 12 years old.

So this is a decision you will have to make. I went back and fourth for a few years on deciding which route I wanted to go with. I decided on the gsxr 600 because I knew I wanted the sport bike feeling. I’ve always loved the gsxr as well. But that doesn’t mean it’s also the right bike for you. Ask yourself a few questions. What style of riding are you looking todo. What’s your budget? How much have you slotted for the proper gear? Whats your area like? All these will play a factor in what type of bike you’ll get.
If you want to have something like this one try the Suzuki GSR 600 . Samen engine and cheaper its not the prettyst one but hey it a good bike .

I have these gloves in Black/ Flo Red. I'm going to get a backup pair. $299 is cheap for this level of gloves Bro when it's in the 90+ I have my riding pants and an armored jersey. Under 90 I have the Alpinestars Fusion Race Suit. Black/Flo Red. SMX V2 Vented Boots Black/ Flo Red. You did the right thing getting the right gear. That is totally a bike that needs that level of gear. 2024 ZX10R. All my gear and recording equipment was well over 5k. I'm not bragging because that is the bare minimum I would wear on the ZX10. Its my first ever motorcycle . I was not riding with no gear. Yoooo the pinkie was bad for a week or so. My hands were numb for 2 weeks breaking the gloves in. Well it was a combo of seat position because I was sitting on it wrong and the lever adjustment, and the tight gloves. Great video bro!!!! The houses look really cool. Easy like/ comment/ subscribe.

I started on a R6 myself and within a few months I was scaring myself on it. I wish now I started on a 1000

@@ojmanoo I had rode four wheelers and driven my dad’s manual transmission vehicles from like age 8 up… We lived on a farm. I just maintained throttle control and self control the first few months on the R6
@@Redmirage47 cool man reason i asked im currently trying to buy this honda cbr600rr for my first bike, but theres also a gsxr600 and a r6 around for sale in my area
@@ojmanoo I’d go look and ride all three if it were me. I really loved the feel of the R6 I owned as well as its wicked power band. The gsxr is more of a linear power band and tighter feel in the cockpit and you cannot beat the reliability of a Honda. Pick the one you feel the most comfortable and best on as long as quality wise they’re all close. You really can’t go wrong with any of those bike imo.
by the way do you have an auto blipper fitted?
It had a quick shifter on it. Not sure if stock or not. But no there’s no auto blip.
