Definition of K3n wittering is incomplete sentences, short thought provoking phrases and multiple topics that stitchers can totally relate too. 😂😂😂😻
Thank you Julie, it's so lovely to have found people who actually like my witterings 😁♥️
@@k3n.clothtalesI love your witterings ☺️❤️
Of course now I want one of these envelope pouches as I love it so much. My goodness I am never going to be bored with all these lovely projects you share with us. Thank you so much
My pleasure Jean, I don't want you to be bored 😁❤️
I HAVE to make one of these … ideal place for all my scraps of rust-dyed papers 🙌❤️
Kia ora and hi from Aotearoa New Zealand. Love your pouch and the Courthouse steps patchwork which I can't stop making. Thanks ❤
Kia ora and thank you ❤️
Love this block. Hugs to BIG dog. ! !
Thank you, I will pass it on ❤️
This is a suggestion for sewing corners: when you get almost to 1/4 inch from the corner pivot slightly to take 1 or 2 stitches diagonally, then pivot again to continue 1/4 inch seam. Then you will still cut away the corner bit near the thread to reduce bulk. I do this with the baby blankets I make, and the corners turn out nice and pointed. If this makes sense give it a try 🤗💞
Like so many others I love your tutorials and always watch each 2 or 3 times, and look forward to the next. And trying to keep up with you ❤😂❤
Thank you that does make sense, I will try it next time ❤️
I love this envelope pouch. So many wonderful projects. So little time. 😂💖💖
Your pouch is just beautiful and I love how you got round the one hole in the dismantled necklace, brilliant idea ❤
Thank you Carol 😊
Another lovely piece... and another item to add to my To Try list. Thank-you. 😊
My pleasure Jill ❤️
Very cute pouch!
Absolutely lovely ! I love these blocks that you're doing. Thank you ❤ x
My pleasure 😊
So many interesting projects coming from Kathryn. I'm hoping I can get them all done in my lifetime. ❤ coming up to my 75th birthday.
Happy upcoming birthday ❤️❤️❤️
Courthouse steps pattern and an envelope pouch - how lovely!! Have a happy day - Heidi
Thank you, you too ❤️
I am astonished by your wonky way of stitching and you just doing without measuring and still in the end it looks like you all worked it out perfectly. Love everything of this project. Kind regards Tineke
Thank you Tineke ❤️
A button shank can be made by loosely sewing the button in place, then winding the thread around the underside of the button, anchoring the 'shank' with a couple of stitches to the cloth. Hope this makes sense.
That makes perfect sense Barbara, thank you, I will try it next time then I can use my 'normal' buttons too ❤️
Lovely pouch! Thanks for the great inspiration!!
Oh you could add a couple belt loops on back so you can have a pocket if you're wearing a skirt with no pocket!
Or a cord handle
The belt loops are a brilliant idea, it would make a fabulous pocket. And I am busy with pockets at the moment so thank you so much 😊
Just watching while sewing my Manx cushion cover, more inspiration, Thankyou K3n ❤
You’re welcome 😊
I'm not sure when I learned this technique, but I have used it many times.
Love the back almost as much as the front….. before assembled…..so nice
I always love the backs of things 😊
I really love watching you create all these wonderful projects. I love this pouch! 💜
Thank you Jeri ❤️
Thank you. 😊
Wonderful ideas.. it's awesome.. your fingers doing magic ❤ thank you 💕
Thank you 😊
This pouch is gorgeous K3n! Thank you for making it and sharing it with us. ❤
My pleasure 😊
I never made an envelope pouch and you must have read my mind, because I was thinking about doing one. I’m just now beginning to try my log cabins and I’m enjoying it a lot, so I really like this pattern too.
When I listen to your dogs with you, I always remember a dog I had in the 90s. I have the habit of talking to myself sometimes 😂, and when I did that, this particular dog would look at me quite surprised as if she was thinking: “what is she talking about? Is she talking to me?” 😂 I wonder what our little friends think when we talk to ourselves… 🤔
I loved the video, as always 🩵🩷♥️💙💚🤍🤎🧡💛💜
Hi Alexandra, I just told Machteld @dailydoseofpaper she read my mind when she posted her little folded pouch the other day. I guess we are all on the same wavelength. 😁♥️

Another fabulous project. Thank you x
Again, an interesting bit of history behind the handwork. I love knowing these tidbits. Pouches are so useful around the home and this variation is lovely. Do you ever make a thread shank while sewing on a button? It would work well for thick cord.
I was today years old when I learnt about the thread shank. Another kind lady told me about it here in the comments, I am looking forward to trying it. 😉❤️
Love all these projects 🎉
Another wonderful demonstration and project. Excited to make my own. Thank you for sharing
Brilliant 💗 Love it ! x
Thank you, very lovely ❤️
At 18:10 I see 4 meditation scrolls so now I'm thinking a rice bag for meditation scrolls... Before Wonky Wednesday I wasn't that keen on log cabins but now my mind is blown by the massive design opportunities.
The envelope pouch is lovely. I want one. Now.
Mary x
Pleased I have converted you 😁 yes they do look like cotton reels, hence stitch meditation scrolls. Hope you are making or at least planning an envelope pouch ❤️❤️❤️
@@k3n.clothtales Oh Kathryn, I feel a fraud because I'm not actively stitching. I'm trying to get my house ready to sell while dealing with severe depression and ptsd from Phil's very sudden passing.
But...I'm loving the videos and the peace that they bring me and slowly gathering supplies. My stitching time will come...just not sure when yet...
Mary you are absolutely not a fraud. You have so much to deal with, everything in it's time. The thinking and gathering and planning is all part of the process and I hope when the time is right, stitching will help you to process your grief and find peace. Sending much love and hugs ❤️
@@k3n.clothtales Thank you Kathryn - love and hugs to you too and thank you for your understanding words. They mean a lot. ❤ ❤ ❤
This looks gorgeous!
Very lovely project!! Thank you for sharing. Hugs ❤
Love this Kathryn! I’m inspired.TFS!
Your twine was worth the extra effort. Great project.
Thank you 😊
This is a fantastic project! Already mentally planning one in blues and whites
That will be lovely ❤️
Love this whole pouch Kathryn, but I most particularly love your beautiful dyed fabric... It always looks so gorgeous to me. Also thought I'd tell you that I have only just managed to stitch a little book to bundle and bury. I'm going to put it near the rose that I planted for Michael and see what happens to it by my wedding anniversary in September.
Thank you Marion, it's a lovely idea to bury your book next to Michael's 🌹❤️❤️❤️
Lovely. Thank you : )
Love this idea❤️
Thank you for sharing this cute little pouch. It’s raining here in Pennsylvania in the United States and this is a great project for today, so thank you for inspiring me.
Hope you enjoy making one ❤️
Thanks for sharing. I really like the idea of leaving the corner open to put the loop on . I enjoy your videos 🪡🧵♥️
Me encanta!!, saludos desde España
This is a lovely lesson! I am inspired to try this! thank you....as always from my heart!
Thank you Candace from mine too ❤️
Just wonderful! Thank you. Another comment concerning your Monday videos - went to the library and I am researching old short poems for my Monday project. I get busy reading novels and am now enjoying poems.
My pleasure, so happy you are enjoying the poetry ❤️
Like i said before: you’re keeping me really busy! Lovely pouch😍🍀💖
I had already filmed this when I saw your foldy paper and cloth thingy (that's the technical term for 'origami' 😂) but it reminded me of it and I wondered if you are a mind reader. 🤔😁♥️
@@k3n.clothtales hahaha If that were the case I don’t think even Slowstitching could keep me sane! No, I think it was probably one of those ideas hovering around multiple heads at the same time!
😎🍀💖
If it was a thing, it would be terrifying indeed to see inside people's minds. My own is challenging enough sometimes 😂
@@k3n.clothtales oh exactly the same here!😀🍀💖
Wonky fix wed❤
😁
Really enjoyed that. Thank you.
I've just started watching the Wonky Wednesday videos, so I may be commenting on something you bring up later. I heard a tradition that in addition to the red center symbolizing the hearth, heart or love in a home, yellow symbolizes the light (in the cabin window), mind or wisdom in a home. I suppose, we could come up with a list of other colors and the part they play in the cabin home. Hmmm, what would purple be?
I knew about the yellow (it's on my ideas list 😉 ) but I don't know if there are other colours, if not we can start some traditions ourselves. 😁❤️
❤😂😅😊🎉
Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
Of course I want one of these pouches 😢🎉😂❤
Hello, of course you do 😁♥️♥️♥️
❤🙏
Very nice. And what are you going to put in it?
I think as it's square, I will use it for journalling cards ❤️
Loverly. xo
