I've worked in KLIA for years and majority of tourist just to transited to bali or bangkok. All we've got just some poor backpackers. Sorry for ruining your hype of patriotism.

    As a chinese Malaysian citizen, the info here is true but for the translation of 'Kuala Lumpur', it actually means muddy land. And Kuala lumpur was actually dirt and mud before the actual magnificent city was born. And should've mentioned the merdeka 118 skyscraper, which is the second tallest of the world.

      @@tydshiin5783 Nah we should stick with cars or public transport. Both are convenient in their own right. Cycling is nothing but hell in Malaysia. Malaysia is hot. But I reckon, Malaysians would be a lot healthier with cycling and reduce automobile fatalities too, so there's that.

    Malaysia doesnt get enough credit for the things that originated in Malaysia. Most of the food and things that Indonesia claimed theirs are from Malaysia, such as rendang

      Bukannya sombong tapi kita tidak tau asal muasal nya culture makanan termasuk rendang anggap aja kita satu rumpun. Makanan dan adat melayu pun byk di Riau adapun makanan rendang lebih ke identitas nya Orang2 Minang (sumatera barat) karena itu termasuk filosofi makanan
      Saya pun sudah ke malaysia mencuba makanan malaysia Termasuk rendang. Menurut saya makanan original malaysia ialah Nasi Lemak sedangkan yg rendang malaysia terasa kurang enak dilidah saya mungkin karena saya orang minang saya menilai dr bumbu, jenis api, jenis daging, dan lama masaknya sudah terasa beda
