I have a confession: for a few months now, I’ve been doing a half-assed carnivore diet, and getting less than stellar results. Tonight, I poured out the last of my Diet Dr. Pepper, threw out my Heinz 57, and decided to commit to doing this thing for real. It was your words that encouraged me.
I started like 6 weeks ago from 15 years vegan, I'm not overwait, my goal is to fix my blood sugar, I dropped from 250 to 112 in the morning. I started keto and the last week and a half carnivore.

I'm a lot like Brandon in that i heard about carnivore 2 years ago one day and just decided to do it basically the next day straight from a standard american diet. It actually just made sense to me as i never saw logical reason why plants would be healthier. I felt better within 3 days. After a month i felt better than when i used to run over 10 miles a day back in highschool.

I did Keto for 2 years and have been doing Carnivore for 4 months. I relocated and hurt my leg shifting furniture causing blood clots 🥴 I told my new Dr what I was doing and he did my bloods for me. I went back a few days later and he told me my bloods were perfect!!! He even stated that he wished his bloods were as good. Don’t know which WOE was responsible but I’m very happy. Will be continuing with Carnivore for the moment!!! 😘🇦🇺
oh man, I love the idea of crisping up ribeye fat after the fact. That fixes my biggest problem. I love ribeye rare, but the fat isn't good rare. Great episode

I started carnivore and I live alone and got tired of deciding what I was going to eat every day, now I know I'm eating eggs and bacon or sausage omelette and I'm having my meat of choice for dinner. I have never been a big cheese person but I will put a slice in my bacon omelette a couple times a week and I have some full fat cottage cheese occasionally but it is so much easier than eating crap every day and feeling like I have been poisoned the next day. I am still having my coke zero but it doesn't trigger sweet cravings because I have never had a huge sweet tooth either. I am loving it. I didn't do it strictly for weight loss...I want to feel better and my digestive system regulated most of all and my chronic inflammation to heal. I have ALWAYS been a meat lover but was brainwashed into eating it less, I feel awesome being able to eat the super salty fat steaks I have always drooled over and passed on for poison salads. No more!!! I love my meats!!
I have tried just about every 'diet' on this planet BUT carnivore. I have been porky all my life and I would always feel deprived when I started a 'diet', manage to get rid of some weight just to put it all back on as my will-power deminish and my cravings just make me over eat. Funny how you think you have no real issues (accept for being overweight), now I realise my life-long struggle with constipation, binge eating, acne, more recently itching (which I put to preservatives and artificial sweetners, hidden in some foods) and energy crashes... I'm now one week in (62 yrs young) and I'm already feeling better (down 2kg). Thank you for all the encouragement and information you all share - I can't wait to take control over my body.
I jumped straight into carnivore on day 3. Had some craving for something sweet. I gave in qnd ate a handful of cashews thinking it was better than the vanilla ice cream that's in the freezer. I'm 125 lbs overweight and 60 years old. I began having hot flashes recently. After hearing the weight loss success and the hormone balancing I'm hoping that this time next year I will be in much better shape and hot flash free.

I'm 95% Carnivore now, in the stages of getting rid of the last of the veggies, as digestive issues are getting worse! I'm a southern girl cook, so giving up the Trinity is tough! I am starting Carnivore and I am always hungry and eat every 3-4 hours because if I do t then I get headaches. So rather eat meat those times then to eat carbs or junk food. Like you said Kelly it is not a bad thing to eat meat. I believe when I do this carnivore for 6 months then I can eat 1-2 a day. Thanks for all your help.
Your videos make me smile so hard every time. And just can I say the thing I love about yours in particular (besides your bubbly personality) is your added in comments and asides. Even though I am sure they take quite a bit of time to put them in later, they really make the videos special.
My husband and I started Keto two and a half years ago. We did really well, then got lazy. I decided last year to get back on track, but I wanted to go Carnivore for health reasons. Even on Keto I still had inflammation and I've discovered that even though I like some veg they don't like me. At all. But it is difficult because my husband has a tooth for keto treats and I can't keep them out of the house and I cave to temptation as I too have a "sweet" tooth. I'm challenging myself to get through June on JUST carnivore and no treats. I need to do this for my health. It's just too important. I know when I'm on track, even with Keto, my sweet tooth goes away.

I was on SAD, without wheat, and switched to carnivore August 3, 2019, without any problem. No cravings, no "Keto flu". We had New York steaks for dinner tonight. I'm looking forward to duck, tomorrow. When travelling, buffets are a good bet. I think Wendy's offers better patties than McDonalds.
Tried Keto several times but the sugar cravings just creep in all day. I noticed that after eating my egg and bacon breakfasts is when I do not crave and usually last longer until I get hungry. So I am going to try diving straight into the carnivore eating. I will have to tweak a little until I see how my digestion feels. When I fasted on the Keto (which has veggies) I still had issues with acid due to lack of a gallbladder. The fast caused issues but I can add broth or even dried meats so that my stomach does not go completely empty. I am emptying out the freezer of the the foods I will no longer be eating. Kelly my bloodwork came back pretty much just like you talked about on your previous video. My LDL is higher that my doctor didn’t like at 206. But my HDL was 80 and triglycerides were 52. Glucose 89 and A1c 4.8. So I’m super happy with my numbers personally. And I eat mostly animal foods but still far from carnivore. I still eat veggies and still eat junk food but very rarely. 90% of the time it’s meat eggs and cooked veggies. And I do eat full fat dairy too. Love your talks 👍

I only found this today. I have totally heard the name Kelly Hogan during my 6mth journey and may have found you sooner if that was the name of the channel LOL. Anyhow, I am a 57 yr old from New Zealand, was keto feb-april, been carnivore since may and doing a beef, salt and water challenge for sept. Down 24 kg with about 15kg to go. I am very similar to Brandon in that I jumped right into Carnivore from a macro counting diet. 40/30/30 split of carbs, protein, and fat. I actually put on weight though (which is good for me), I kept up my exercise routine and the weight I gained was mostly muscle. But no problems switching, no gas now, no bloating, and I feel the best I've ever been. I am about a year into carnivore now.

Airfryer toasted pork rinds (400F for 5 min) dust with salt....so good. Great popcorn sub. Don't have them often but when the urge stikes, they do the job.
It's so easy, really! Just stick with it and all carvings will be gone within two weeks. To start with I had a mantra whenever I was thinking of some snacks or junk that I should no longer have. My mantra was: NO!!! (How is that for a mantra?) At first I was saying it quite a lot, out loud, to myself. I warned my husband if he hears me yell NO! just ignore it. Then I noticed that I was not saying it any more. I actually for got to say it because I simply did not have a craving. It was amazing. Good luck to you Lee Ann. You'll do fine!
That’s why I call myself ketovore. I drink 2 T. Cream a day in coffee, special times: sour cream with pork rinds and since I’m allergic to eggs ( boohoo), but I use firm Tofu with sour cream or soy sauce. Otherwise, it’s all meat. I like chicken livers. One month being ketovore & keto since 1\1\21. Lost 14#. Thanks you Kelly and crew!

This was great! I loved your rule.. cause that is exactly what happened to me on the 3 Rd and 4th. So I am keeping that rule, because it is true carnivores don’t fart.
I'm less interested in cooking and variety more than ever in my life. I'm new to all this and still have some plants but really am discovering wellness and my a1c went from 6.7 to 5.5, my Dr was excited to have someone go I to remission without meds. I've lost 38lbs in 4 months went from a size 30/32jean to a size 26, and can breathe again in just 4 months. I appreciate the honesty you both share as it helps me so much. I've been bulimic and anorexic and once pregnant I became a binge no purge compulsive eater. I've workout and restricted, and been vegan all with minor success and also growing deeper into depression. I mentally the best I've been in a long time, my therapist is also impressed, my family and friends can tell its not just weight loss and are excited for me. I'm not eating to numb now, I'm having to learn who I am again and it's wonderful. Blessings
Kelly and Laura are the most inspirational women on YouTub in regard to weigth loss (your before pictures and now side by side speak for themselves). Just like you Kelly I don't crave carbs anymore. What a freedome to be able to pass cookies while my carb addicted mom who I live with keeps eating them every single day. It wasn't until I cut out diary as of 1 January 2023 (except lactose free butter) my cravings have vanished completely not to mention bloating that cheese caused. As for bathroom since I incorporated 50 to 100 grams of butter everyday this have become a cakewalk now lol. NO FIBER please ever again, fiber causes CONSTIPATION and other unpleasant issues with butt. In a nutshell I eat meat (mostly beef) with salt to taste and NO spicies, eggs / with bacon, animal fat, lactose free butter and I have black organic coffee 3 times a day, ocassional plain tea but mostly water. Thanks to all carnivores on TH-cam I have taken this path and I plan to stick with it. I realized that keeping carnivore simple, makes it easy to follow. Keep up good works girls 🙂
The thing I like about “announcing to the world” that you’re only eating meat forever, is because I knew I had thousands of people watching and it kept me accountable. I’m the only 100% Carnivore in my family. My husband eats Carnivore (for the most part) at home because that’s what I cook for us. Our 19 year old daughter eats chicken nuggets with bbq sauce for lunch nearly every day, and I make cauli-mash (or maybe cauli-rice or jambalaya and meat for her dinner).

Fun video as always. I like his rules, fat has everything to do with butt trust. 😝 I'm like Laura. Mental cravings is my struggle, not physical cravings, plus I added diet Pepsi again. Ugh, I've quit 3 times. Had bloodwork, hdl, trig, creative protein were great. My a1c went from 5.3 to 5.8, yikes. I'm a type 2 diabetic trying to put this disease in remission, this number freaks me out. I had even reduced my metformin. Any insight? Carnivoredoctor said to listen to dave Feldman as he talks about a1c. Kelly, Laura, have you run into this concern?
I follow both Laura and Kelly and love you both! I love how simple you both make it sound and I have been following carnivore (red meat and water) since Feb 1st. But I still have 20 lbs to lose which is not coming off for some reason. I’m giving it time because I’m trusting the process but Lately there have been a few you-tubers contradicting the way I have been eating (around 1 1/2 lbs to 2lbs a day) and it’s very confusing. You both eat this way and have for years and feel great so that is my goal, health first. It’s just so confusing when someone is saying to eat 60 grams of protein max and 200 grams of fat. That’s scary especially when I still have fat to lose.
As soon as I see 200g of fat I know we're talking about Stephanie Person. I respect her knowledge but honestly, 200g of fat scares the shyt out of me. I agree, Carnivore has lots of conflicting information , and that's a reminder that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others. . I think you have to start somewhere...and then adjust as needed. I had to eliminate cheese and coffee. As much as I love them both, my body didn't. Be patient. Trust your instincts. Nobody knows your body better than you. And remember, Carnivory is still in its infancy stages. Nobody really knows anything for sure. They can only share their experience. The scientific evidence is years away. Go by how you feel and good luck going forward.
I'm almost two months in. One of the reasons I wanted to try CV was because I didn't want to have to count and track what I was eating. So as soon as I hear someone say to measure anything, I turn them off. So far it's working. I want to be like these two; keeping it simple. The loose stools are from low potassium. I supplemented with a small amount of potassium citrate ordered in bulk on Amazon and the loose stools stopped, headache went away, etc.
Been carnivore for 4 weeks. Went cold turkey from SAD (standard Australian diet ;-) had the keto flu twice for about 3 days at a time (first when I started and in the beginning of week 4). My blood pressure has come down to normal levels, I don’t crave sugar or carbs - the best thing I’ve done for myself
People definitely spaz out when you tell them you only eat OMAD and they'll say you can't live without carbs and all kinds of things but my weight loss and amount of meds I'm off of tell the truth that my body is getting just what it needs, a thinner person now and fat going down around my middle tells me I'm doing something right down 55lbs so far...
@Eva Reed 'You need carbs for fuel' Calories are in all the micronutrients and fat has more calories 'Glucose is needed to feed the brain' Gluconeogenesis. Done. All you need to know to respond to that. Yeah, people would rather believe i 'proof' over proof. No matter how you feel. Doctors tell you xyz, therefore xyz.

My husband told me about Carnivore a week ago and I jumped in with both feet early this week! 😂 I have NEVER been interested in Keto, but hearing about Carnivore helping people with autoimmune diseases (I have Psoriasis) got my attention! The weight loss is just a bonus!! My biggest junk food addiction has always been soda - Dr. Pepper and Coke. 🤤 Seeing as how I'm FRESH to Carnivore, I still want a Dr. Pepper (haven't given in, yet! 🤞), but I already have NO desire for anything else carb-y that I used to indulge in!
I very much appreciate this! I've been on one side with my booty and constipation. I also love that there is flexibility and permission in this cast. I've joined a carnivore group that seems to tend to a lot of rules (grass fed, eating organs, no dairy). I'm genuinely trying to transition from vegan so needing a bit of wiggle room to do this. Lately I’ve been noticing that my coffee with cream only in the mornings feels like calorie restriction. I started to eat the proper meal together with the coffee. And doing that I’m starting a 2MAD after more than 2 years on carnivore OMAD.
Over Comer , I forgot something important. I lost 2 kilos this way. Have no idea why. Sometimes I think it’s because of the liver I eat almost everyday , maybe more iron on your body 🤷🏼♀️
Emotional eating is a thing - yes easier to overcome , but those cravings are still there . Interestingly , it is usually easier to identify that the craving is emotionally based and than easier to brush off once identified.
Were you thinking cold quarter pound beef patty with cold bacon grease 'icing' spread over the top? Yum, and since it's cold, one could use their food stamps card to buy! 😲
I am 58 years overweight, active (I don't work out) .................... I have lived off diet coke for 35 or 40 years............. I started carnivore 2 months ago and have had one diet coke the first week. It tasted sweet, and I haven't had another since, not because I restrict it, but my taste buds have changed drastically. I just don't want one. Feel amazing, I have probably dropped 12-15 pounds and few inches. Good luck everyone, it will change your life quickly.

LAURA! Try to find a good EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) Practitioner to help you get rid of the emotional drivers : ) Can work really quickly and permanently. Brandon looks way better in his face compared to the flashback video clip. Inflammation is gone! Great video.
I was going back and forth between a very very low carb keto (even in keto standards) free of any keto "treats" and sweat tastes and full carnivore diet for a while now. Now that I've seen this episode (and been following Laura for a while) and hearing how Brandon's "digestional" problems faded I am fully convinced. I'm gonna give carnivore a go. For a month. Then we'll see where it all goes from there.
Once you give up sugar substitutes, going no carb is easy. The stevia and other no carb sweeteners cause our body to continue the cravings for sweet and carbs.
Newly viewing carnivore lifestyle.. I tripped over a Dr. Barry 3 days ago and since have binged watch Dr. Barry, Lauren and now Kelly. I am so ready to try this. A bit skeptical of my husband's thoughts and meal plans. But he is an amazing grilling, smoking meat machine. So I need him on board. This was a great trio dynamic with 3 of you and great content. I love a glass of dry red wine on my weekends and was worried that wouldn't be allowed.
I think you need to judge the wine for yourself and avoid listening to others. How do you feel? Is it impacting your carnivore goal, ie wt loss or health issues? If it is your only luxury and not a problem ENJOY. Rigid rule keepers should keep their rules to themselves. Personally I call myself a ketovore because I can’t give up Brussels sprouts but I follow a lot of carnivore guidelines and am more carnivore than keto. The keto tribe seems to be heavily invested in artificial sweeteners, fake bread, fake pancakes and snacking. With enough meat and fat each meal, I naturally became OMAD to my delight since my goal was fighting insulin resistance and fasting assists in that battle-and my skin tags are dissolved so I know and feel so much happier! Play with your change if eating habits and I recommend Dr Ken Berry’s channel if you want an authority who practices what he prescribes.

Same here Laura! On Keto I totally overdid the keto-approved sweeteners. Cutting those out has definitely helped me see the difference in cravings.

Funny how you think you have no real issues (accept for being overweight), now I realise my life-long struggle with constipation, binge eating, acne, more recently itching (which I put to preservatives and artificial sweetners, hidden in some foods) and energy crashes... I'm now one week in (62 yrs young) and I'm already feeling better (down 2kg). Thank you for all the encouragement and information you all share - I can't wait to take control over my body.
I jumped straight into carnivore on day 3. Had some craving for something sweet. I gave in qnd ate a handful of cashews thinking it was better than the vanilla ice cream that's in the freezer. I'm 125 lbs overweight and 60 years old. I began having hot flashes recently. After hearing the weight loss success and the hormone balancing I'm hoping that this time next year I will be in much better shape and hot flash free.

I am starting Carnivore and I am always hungry and eat every 3-4 hours because if I do t then I get headaches. So rather eat meat those times then to eat carbs or junk food. Like you said Kelly it is not a bad thing to eat meat. I believe when I do this carnivore for 6 months then I can eat 1-2 a day. Thanks for all your help.
Your videos make me smile so hard every time. And just can I say the thing I love about yours in particular (besides your bubbly personality) is your added in comments and asides. Even though I am sure they take quite a bit of time to put them in later, they really make the videos special.
My husband and I started Keto two and a half years ago. We did really well, then got lazy. I decided last year to get back on track, but I wanted to go Carnivore for health reasons. Even on Keto I still had inflammation and I've discovered that even though I like some veg they don't like me. At all. But it is difficult because my husband has a tooth for keto treats and I can't keep them out of the house and I cave to temptation as I too have a "sweet" tooth. I'm challenging myself to get through June on JUST carnivore and no treats. I need to do this for my health. It's just too important. I know when I'm on track, even with Keto, my sweet tooth goes away.

I was on SAD, without wheat, and switched to carnivore August 3, 2019, without any problem. No cravings, no "Keto flu". We had New York steaks for dinner tonight. I'm looking forward to duck, tomorrow. When travelling, buffets are a good bet. I think Wendy's offers better patties than McDonalds.

Tried Keto several times but the sugar cravings just creep in all day. I noticed that after eating my egg and bacon breakfasts is when I do not crave and usually last longer until I get hungry. So I am going to try diving straight into the carnivore eating. I will have to tweak a little until I see how my digestion feels. When I fasted on the Keto (which has veggies) I still had issues with acid due to lack of a gallbladder. The fast caused issues but I can add broth or even dried meats so that my stomach does not go completely empty. I am emptying out the freezer of the the foods I will no longer be eating. Kelly my bloodwork came back pretty much just like you talked about on your previous video. My LDL is higher that my doctor didn’t like at 206. But my HDL was 80 and triglycerides were 52. Glucose 89 and A1c 4.8. So I’m super happy with my numbers personally. And I eat mostly animal foods but still far from carnivore. I still eat veggies and still eat junk food but very rarely. 90% of the time it’s meat eggs and cooked veggies. And I do eat full fat dairy too. Love your talks 👍

I only found this today. I have totally heard the name Kelly Hogan during my 6mth journey and may have found you sooner if that was the name of the channel LOL. Anyhow, I am a 57 yr old from New Zealand, was keto feb-april, been carnivore since may and doing a beef, salt and water challenge for sept. Down 24 kg with about 15kg to go. This was a great video, thanks.

I am very similar to Brandon in that I jumped right into Carnivore from a macro counting diet. 40/30/30 split of carbs, protein, and fat. I actually put on weight though (which is good for me), I kept up my exercise routine and the weight I gained was mostly muscle. But no problems switching, no gas now, no bloating, and I feel the best I've ever been. I am about a year into carnivore now.
Kelly is so genuine and has an adorable personality. Hilarious comment that her "butt is very trustworthy"!!! Haha! It's so easy, really! Just stick with it and all carvings will be gone within two weeks. To start with I had a mantra whenever I was thinking of some snacks or junk that I should no longer have. My mantra was: NO!!! (How is that for a mantra?)
At first I was saying it quite a lot, out loud, to myself. I warned my husband if he hears me yell NO! just ignore it.
Then I noticed that I was not saying it any more. I actually for got to say it because I simply did not have a craving. It was amazing.

That’s why I call myself ketovore. I drink 2 T. Cream a day in coffee, special times: sour cream with pork rinds and since I’m allergic to eggs ( boohoo), but I use firm Tofu with sour cream or soy sauce. Otherwise, it’s all meat. I like chicken livers. One month being ketovore & keto since 1\1\21. Lost 14#. Thanks you Kelly and crew!

This was great! I loved your rule.. cause that is exactly what happened to me on the 3 Rd and 4th. So I am keeping that rule, because it is true carnivores don’t fart.
I'm less interested in cooking and variety more than ever in my life. I'm new to all this and still have some plants but really am discovering wellness and my a1c went from 6.7 to 5.5, my Dr was excited to have someone go I to remission without meds. I've lost 38lbs in 4 months went from a size 30/32jean to a size 26, and can breathe again in just 4 months. I appreciate the honesty you both share as it helps me so much. I've been bulimic and anorexic and once pregnant I became a binge no purge compulsive eater. I've workout and restricted, and been vegan all with minor success and also growing deeper into depression. I mentally the best I've been in a long time, my therapist is also impressed, my family and friends can tell its not just weight loss and are excited for me. I'm not eating to numb now, I'm having to learn who I am again and it's wonderful. Blessings

Kelly and Laura are the most inspirational women on YouTub in regard to weigth loss (your before pictures and now side by side speak for themselves).
Just like you Kelly I don't crave carbs anymore. What a freedome to be able to pass cookies while my carb addicted mom who I live with keeps eating them every single day.
It wasn't until I cut out diary as of 1 January 2023 (except lactose free butter) my cravings have vanished completely not to mention bloating that cheese caused.
As for bathroom since I incorporated 50 to 100 grams of butter everyday this have become a cakewalk now lol. NO FIBER please ever again, fiber causes CONSTIPATION and other unpleasant issues with butt. In a nutshell I eat meat (mostly beef) with salt to taste and NO spicies, eggs / with bacon, animal fat, lactose free butter and I have black organic coffee 3 times a day, ocassional plain tea but mostly water. Thanks to all carnivores on TH-cam I have taken this path and I plan to stick with it.
I realized that keeping carnivore simple, makes it easy to follow.

The thing I like about “announcing to the world” that you’re only eating meat forever, is because I knew I had thousands of people watching and it kept me accountable. I’m the only 100% Carnivore in my family. My husband eats Carnivore (for the most part) at home because that’s what I cook for us. Our 19 year old daughter eats chicken nuggets with bbq sauce for lunch nearly every day, and I make cauli-mash (or maybe cauli-rice or jambalaya and meat for her dinner).

Fun video as always. I like his rules, fat has everything to do with butt trust. 😝 I'm like Laura. Mental cravings is my struggle, not physical cravings, plus I added diet Pepsi again. Ugh, I've quit 3 times. Had bloodwork, hdl, trig, creative protein were great. My a1c went from 5.3 to 5.8, yikes. I'm a type 2 diabetic trying to put this disease in remission, this number freaks me out. I had even reduced my metformin. Any insight? Carnivoredoctor said to listen to dave Feldman as he talks about a1c. Kelly, Laura, have you run into this concern?
I follow both Laura and Kelly and love you both! I love how simple you both make it sound and I have been following carnivore (red meat and water) since Feb 1st. But I still have 20 lbs to lose which is not coming off for some reason. I’m giving it time because I’m trusting the process but Lately there have been a few you-tubers contradicting the way I have been eating (around 1 1/2 lbs to 2lbs a day) and it’s very confusing. You both eat this way and have for years and feel great so that is my goal, health first. It’s just so confusing when someone is saying to eat 60 grams of protein max and 200 grams of fat. That’s scary especially when I still have fat to lose.

As soon as I see 200g of fat I know we're talking about Stephanie Person. I respect her knowledge but honestly, 200g of fat scares the shyt out of me. I agree, Carnivore has lots of conflicting information , and that's a reminder that what works for one doesn't necessarily work for others. . I think you have to start somewhere...and then adjust as needed. I had to eliminate cheese and coffee. As much as I love them both, my body didn't. Be patient. Trust your instincts. Nobody knows your body better than you. And remember, Carnivory is still in its infancy stages. Nobody really knows anything for sure. They can only share their experience. The scientific evidence is years away. Go by how you feel and good luck going forward.

I'm almost two months in. One of the reasons I wanted to try CV was because I didn't want to have to count and track what I was eating. So as soon as I hear someone say to measure anything, I turn them off. So far it's working. I want to be like these two; keeping it simple. I hope you can too and are able to have success keeping it simple. Let us know how you are doing. We are both still very early with this WOE. Good luck!

The loose stools are from low potassium. I supplemented with a small amount of potassium citrate ordered in bulk on Amazon and the loose stools stopped, headache went away, etc.

Been carnivore for 4 weeks. Went cold turkey from SAD (standard Australian diet ;-) had the keto flu twice for about 3 days at a time (first when I started and in the beginning of week 4). My blood pressure has come down to normal levels, I don’t crave sugar or carbs - the best thing I’ve done for myself

People definitely spaz out when you tell them you only eat OMAD and they'll say you can't live without carbs and all kinds of things but my weight loss and amount of meds I'm off of tell the truth that my body is getting just what it needs, a thinner person now and fat going down around my middle tells me I'm doing something right down 55lbs so far...

My husband told me about Carnivore a week ago and I jumped in with both feet early this week! 😂 I have NEVER been interested in Keto, but hearing about Carnivore helping people with autoimmune diseases (I have Psoriasis) got my attention! The weight loss is just a bonus!! My biggest junk food addiction has always been soda - Dr. Pepper and Coke. 🤤 Seeing as how I'm FRESH to Carnivore, I still want a Dr. Pepper (haven't given in, yet! 🤞), but I already have NO desire for anything else carb-y that I used to indulge in!

I've joined a carnivore group that seems to tend to a lot of rules (grass fed, eating organs, no dairy).

Lately I’ve been noticing that my coffee with cream only in the mornings feels like calorie restriction. I started to eat the proper meal together with the coffee. And doing that I’m starting a 2MAD after more than 2 years on carnivore OMAD.

Emotional eating is a thing - yes easier to overcome , but those cravings are still there . Interestingly , it is usually easier to identify that the craving is emotionally based and than easier to brush off once identified.

I am 58 years overweight, active (I don't work out) .................... I have lived off diet coke for 35 or 40 years............. I started carnivore 2 months ago and have had one diet coke the first week. It tasted sweet, and I haven't had another since, not because I restrict it, but my taste buds have changed drastically. I just don't want one.
Feel amazing, I have probably dropped 12-15 pounds and few inches. Good luck everyone, it will change your life quickly.

I was going back and forth between a very very low carb keto (even in keto standards) free of any keto "treats" and sweat tastes and full carnivore diet for a while now. Now that I've seen this episode (and been following Laura for a while) and hearing how Brandon's "digestional" problems faded I am fully convinced. I'm gonna give carnivore a go. For a month. Then we'll see where it all goes from there.
Once you give up sugar substitutes, going no carb is easy. The stevia and other no carb sweeteners cause our body to continue the cravings for sweet and carbs.

Newly viewing carnivore lifestyle.. I tripped over a Dr. Barry 3 days ago and since have binged watch Dr. Barry, Lauren and now Kelly. I am so ready to try this. A bit skeptical of my husband's thoughts and meal plans. But he is an amazing grilling, smoking meat machine. So I need him on board. This was a great trio dynamic with 3 of you and great content. I love a glass of dry red wine on my weekends and was worried that wouldn't be allowed.
I think you need to judge the wine for yourself and avoid listening to others. How do you feel? Is it impacting your carnivore goal, ie wt loss or health issues? If it is your only luxury and not a problem ENJOY. Rigid rule keepers should keep their rules to themselves.
Personally I call myself a ketovore because I can’t give up Brussels sprouts but I follow a lot of carnivore guidelines and am more carnivore than keto. The keto tribe seems to be heavily invested in artificial sweeteners, fake bread, fake pancakes and snacking. With enough meat and fat each meal, I naturally became OMAD to my delight since my goal was fighting insulin resistance and fasting assists in that battle-and my skin tags are dissolved so I know and feel so much happier! Play with your change if eating habits and I recommend Dr Ken Berry’s channel if you want an authority who practices what he prescribes.
