    I bought one of their water damaged M91/30s a few months ago for $120, sight unseen. Was a great buy, and project. Little metal wear, I re-stained the stock and it turned out awesome. Definitely love looking at Classic every now and then for their surplus deals. Cant imagine these rifles are any less than good. also was 100% matching serial numbers gun which was a bonus.

    Nice batch, but that large import mark on the receiver really kills it.

      I have several milsurps with small discrete import marks. These new importers don’t care and they really do the rifle a disservice. It’s not advertisement you knuckleheads.

      Yeah I'm disappointed now after seeing that 20size font right on the top of the receiver with all that unnecessary info, dunno if another batch will be found anytime soon and be sold at reasonable prices.

    I remember when these rifles were free. As a small boy when I used to go out scavenger hunting the left behind soldier's bodies, these rifles used to be just laying everywhere for free. There were more than I could carry. Oh the good old days.

    Bought one 3 years ago for $129.99.. and i got all the stuff.. Mosins are not worth 300$.. they flooded the market and then allowed to to dry up and the price went up.. now they have trippled in price and they are selling them for that. It is not worth it hands down don't care.. it just isn't.. You can buy a brand new much better rifle at your local sprting good store for the same price or even less that shoots a common round that wont dry up.

    I bought a 1924 Hex and it has no metal insert(estusions) where the sling goes through the wood. It doesnt look big like they could fit in there..its just a bare wood hole. What does that mean if those metal inserts arent there?

    • @p71collector
      @p71collector 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You have a "wartime" stock. To save time and increase production, the Russians just bored crossways holes and the wood , and they were good to go. The leather strap will slide right in the cuts in the stock.

    Those look like beutiful rifles. I just received my M57 Tokarev and it is a we wonderful firearm. I have always been leery t buying from mail order firearms but your company has changed my mind on that. Do you sell the creats. I used to make shelving units out of them that we used to get at a surplus store I worked at. Just wondering. I'm going to have to buy one of those. They look beautiful. I love historical firearms. Thank you for your time and have a great day. Bigger behind the trigger.
