I've been helped a lot from people much smarter than me, so it's my way of saying thanks to them. So thank the people who were kind enough to teach and help me as well.
so that explains why even i replaced my clutch linings still my bike loses torque.. its that 4 springs that maybe worn out, already reached 92k km.. on my 7 year old bike.. thanks for this info.. keep it up mate
This video was good but it did not address the issue I am having. I bought a used 2011 CRF50F and it clunks horribly shifting between gears, it is impossible to do smoothly like my yamaha... any idea what could be worn/broken that could be causing this I should look for? Thx
1962 c100 clutch assembly has gear sticking out the back cannot get part number on line can I take plates out of z50/ct70 and place in original basket seems do not slide freely can I file to move freely ??
Hi great vid got a problem you might be able to help me with got 2 semi auto clutch engines one had centryfugal clutch other had one in you video swaped them over centryfugal into the engine with clutch on your vid now no clutch or when turning adjusting screw no stiff part
Hi my name is Eddie, I used a 110cc motor and made it a stand alone semi auto tranny, on a 200cc motor and I'm having difficulty on making it move what do u suggest? I should do...I replaced my disc twice, thinking it wore out pls help
Hi me again from one of your past video. I have some noise coming from crankcase. It seems like bearing sound or con rod piston hitting top. I checked con rod no vertical play in con rod. No valveto piston contact. Camshaft and bearings ok. New timing chain and rubber. Oil pump and cam tensioner ok. The noise is from crankcase van it be anything related to clutch assembly? I haven't checked the clutch assembly yet. What usual goes wrong (primary gear drice/and driven) or some other.. What r the wear parts that causes such noise? I will upload its video as well. Other then that as of now bike has no noticeable performance decrease
Without hearing the sound, it's hard to tell. However, I can tell you that if it sounds more like a "knock" (like hitting a piece of wood with a hammer), it's more likely your crankshaft bearing. If it's a rattle, like hitting two rocks against each other, it's probably related to the piston skirt (similar to my video on the Yamaha 125). If you upload a video of the sound I'll have a look at it and give you my best advice.
The gasket you put on after you have the clutch Bolt torqued down, the clutch cover that has the 4 screws, do you use any kind of silicone or sealant on that gasket
No sealant necessary, actually I'd recommend against it. Funny enough I just made another clutch video (shorter and more concise), it will be uploaded by week's end, so just letting you know.
Hi grate video iv been trying to sort an issue iv had . what iv done is fitted a 12v 50cc with a 12v 90cc crank and topend but left it with the standard 50cc clutch (fitted new clutch plates tho) but now the clutch slip's at top speed but not as im going through the gears. Would you think this is spring related or that a complete 90cc clutch needs fitting
I've never tried a 50 clutch on a 90 before, but the minimum you would need are springs. However, the 90 also has a different bob weight setup as well, so springs may not be sufficient either to handle the power.
Sir if you can PLEASE answer me, i took out and put back the clutch on my skyteam 125 semi-auto because the clutch nut had come loose, and when i put back everything and try to put gear the clutch just doesn't work, the crank is like straight connected with gearbox like there's no clutch and engine just dies. I'm 100% sure i put the parts as i should, so now i think i over- tightened the clutch nut, can you please tell me how much that big nut has to be tightened?
My son's chinese Loncin 110 atv engine seems to have a seized clutch. It is in gear even at idle, has anyone run into this issue and how to resolve it? Thanks
sir can you do a favor you know how to convert into manual a honda c70 beacause a have a motorcycle chinese that have the same engine in c70 here in the philippines we call it RUSI
Brilliant, very well done and worth the time. Thank you.
Brilliant video.

Thanks for this great video, I used it as reference while I rebuilt my clutch today
That's what it's there for :) Glad it helped.

My ct70 K0 did not have the dome washer under the clutch assembly nut. I have looked up the parts and it never had one. Would you recommend I add one?

You have a number of really informative videos. Thank you.
FYI your link to removing the clutch isn't working.
Yeah I've removed the link now because my photo host shutdown all linking and ruined the original thread. Sorry about that.
What springs are the up rated ones for the 90? Thank you

Mini Motor Man. Thank you for the reply. I'll try replacing springs first and see what the outcome is
