The reason why the screws strip, because they are not philips screws, they are JIS screws, and require JIS screw driver. JIS stands for "Japanese Industrial Standard".
G'day MiniMotorMan _ I'm really enjoying your videos, they're teaching me heaps. Have you any tips on where to get the green/blue rubberised back gaskets you talk about in the video? I can't find them anywhere..Thanks.
I have a crf50 with larger piston and carb. I put heavy clutch springs in it now it won't freewheel at idle. Had it apart 4 times, can't figure it out. Thanks for the video.
I’ve got a 50cc fully auto electric start loncin engine, it has no gear lever or provision for one, it runs fine but I can only push the bike backwards! Should the clutch be engaged all the time? Hope you can answer 😊👍🏻
Hello, great video! I have a 2007 Honda CRF50F with a bit of an issue. When I start the dirt bike up it idles fine.....I sit-down and shift form neutral to first gear the bike takes off without me engaging the throttle whatsoever. Wondering what you suggest I do or where to even start. Ive watched other videos of yours and you talk about the "Automatic Disengage Mechanism" that takes the bike from idle to first gear without physically moving the bike. Is that possibly my issue? Where is that located and where do i start? Any help would be appreciated!
Hey I have a 2004 honda crf70 I just picked up, when I start it , it clicks really loud ( maby kick start gear not fully disengaging?) I tried to put it in gear (all 3) and it just grinds something horrible . Am I looking at replacing kick start gear and possibly rebuilding clutch pack . Or is it going to be a complete teardown
So My clutch was slipping and I took the screws (the ones at 15:00 ) out and let it sit for a day or two and now the clutch doesnt slip anymore. Would you know what the problem is?
Thanks for the tutorial. You're a font of knowledge.

I don't think you actually showed us how to line up the oil holes you mentioned in great detail. Did I miss it?
