My only E3 wish is that they start making enough to actually be able to be bought by people who have been waiting since March and don't want to be price gouged.
Other M was a way better transition to 3d than prime series, OM feels like a classic metroid game with Z axis, prime feels like an endless mech stage in a FPS.
It would be easy in terms of storyline since Luigi summarizes everything about his adventures in the Waffle Kingdom in The Thousand Year Door. Maybe at least give him partners who don't hate his guts.
DaSheepKiller I still care about those games, but right now there really isn't enough info on them to get me excited. I'm sure that once more info on what's different about them from Sun & Moon is revealed me and a lot of others start getting more excited for them. Until then I'm just going to be hyped for the Gold & Silver on virtual console.

And yeah I'm pretty hyped for Gold and Silver on Virtual Console too, I never played the original gen 2, and after making a bunch of videos on a ROM hack that remakes Crystal for GBA, I'm having a lot of Johto hype as of late.
DaSheepKiller I never played the original Gen 2 games either, but Soul Silver was the game that got me into gaming and also my favorite game of all time, so I'm pretty excited to play through Johto again.

Love your E3 content, so I'm definitely excited for next week! As for my wish list, I like to keep my expectations low and realistic, here's what I got: -Info on Super Mario Odyssey, Ultra Sun/Moon, and Mario x Rabbids crossover (something we already know about, yeah, but I wanna learn more. Especially SMO, some me some sweet gameplay Nintendo!) -Virtual Console info (I have similar hopes to Josh, but I specifically want GameCube VC news. My Wii's busted and I gotta have some way to play classics like Sunshine for the first time or revisit games like Paper Mario 2) Now for some unrealistic hopes -Sequel to Pokémon Conquest, or even better, have said sequel be a crossover with Fire Emblem (apparently the original plan for the SMT x FE crossover was going to be a Pokémon and FE crossover, I still think that would really work) -Persona 5 on Switch (pretty unlikely, and I already have it on PS4, but I want more people to be able to experience the amazingness of P5) -Kirby Air Ride sequel (one of the best multiplayer experiences I've had, just expand City Trial a ton, add more vehicles, more Copy Abilities, more events, more cities, sounds like a blast to me) -Some overlap with Josh's list like new Metroid and Mother 3 release With my low expectations, I'll see what I'm looking for and get a ton of surprises. Even if the unrealistics won't happen, I still always have a ton of fun during E3! :D

Sub Boy You should've known ahead of time that Nintendo would never let a main series Pokemon game get made for the Switch with the supply issues that currently plague it. It has nothing to do with trust.
Why are people upset about no Pokemon for the Switch as if it's some sort of surprise? Remember what happened with the 3ds? It took ages for a Pokemon game to come out on that and Black and White 2 was released instead.
Mathew Wilson ff was good, not great, but still good. but yeah we need a new one. my hope is that we get one that takes place after fusion, cuz she never takes the suit off, fusion is currently the furthest in the timeline and that's slightly annoying.

A great list, Jwittz! I want all of these to happen (though I would swap Animal Crossing for more news on Xenoblade 2, but that's just me. Animal Crossing gets an honorable mention). Mother 3 in particular. We got a re-release of Earthbound in 2013, Mother 1 in 2015, and now it's 2017. Keep to the pattern, Nintendo!

Some things I would love to see from Nintendo this week: 1) Squareenix SNES RPG bundle. One game, FFIV, FFV, FFVI, Secret of Evermore, etc. You get the idea. 2) Mobile port of Pocket Card Jockey 3) Some kind of Pokemon game on the Switch that isn't a fighting game. 4) A new 2D Zelda. 5) A new Elite Beat Agents game for either Switch, 3DS, or even mobile. 6) A new Layton Bros game to launch along side the new Layton game.
"Something completely unexpected" - Honestly I think they wanted to do that with the Rabbids, but got leaked unfortunately. I'm still going to be surprised by it still can't believe it. I'm looking forward to seeing the actual game.
Well, It would look great on the switch, and the last game was 3 years ago. Also we didn't have the recycling issue in the 1980s to 90s so what gives, We got 4 mario 2D platformers in 6 years then and we got 4 2D mario Platormers in 7 years now, so why does everyone hate NSMB?
I want it because it doesn't sound incredibly annoying to play it with a sideways Joy-Con. They just have to make new music, remove the Koopalings, and add extra stuff like the VS mode and minigames from DS

Definitely with you on the 3rd party stuff. Every time I see a new game now without the Switch advertised with Xbox One and PS4, I think to myself "but WHY NOT?!"
For those of you who want Sinnoh remakes (btw I kinda want that to happen too), keep this in mind: Edit: I got the release dates for the remakes wrong, so here are the actual release dates: FR/LG: 2004 HG/SS: 2009 OR/AS: 2014 The pattern is no longer a six-year pause in between each set of games, but now a five-year gap in between each set of remakes. Based on that, I'm not holding my breath until 2019. Sorry for the mistake, guys!
Stephen Brown I actually watched a video with a guy saying he's moreso betting on gen 1 remakes happening first. All because the most recent version of it is on an less recent engine than Sinnoh.
Rad Master no main series game will be in the switch until they add it both for 3ds and switch or until they drop the 3ds and seeing that they are coming out with a new 2ds it's not happening soon

I've gotten really ridiculously cynical about Nintendos digital events over the years. I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking, and anyone who is better be ready for disappointment or were going to have an ultrasalt situation again
Yeah, the rule of thumb is set your expectations low so you're not disappointed if nothing is revealed, but you'll be pleasantly surprised if cool games are revealed. To be fair, I'm really banking on a new Metroid or Animal Crossing, AC especially, since it is basically the definition of what the Switch is.
What I want from E3 is a new Metroid, and as unlikely as it is, a localized Mother 3. Nintendo, don't listen to Reggie's dumbness and give fans what they actually WANT. I suppose a new F-Zero, Kid Icarus and Animal Crossing (that isn't a dumb spin-off) would be nice too.

While some may take this as a possible confirmation of Metroid and Mother 3 being confirmed, I take it as blind ignorance on the fact that Reggie, jokingly or not, is saying to wait a YEAR and see what people'll say, when we don't want Metroid or Mother 3 in a year. We want them NOW, and we always have for more than half a decade. Reggie may not have any say in game development, but he's still the president of Nintendo of America. So he's still not only an important figurehead in the company as whole, but entirely controls whether or not Mother 3 will get localized. That is all. Case and point.
Crono Sapien Why would waste time on localizing a 11 year old GBA game? The only way we'll see a offical Mother 3 release outside of Japan is through a remake.
Josh I Oh I dunno, mayb the same reason they localized Earthbound Beginnings, a 30-year old game? (Being that there are fans of it outside of Japan that love it. Including JWittz, unless you haven't seen a video. While a remake would be legit, and I've been clamoring for an Earthbound remake for a while now, I'd rather have the original localized so everyone could play and experience that first.)
Sky sands for the unexpected part was a nice touch. Kirby Air ride was another good example of Nintendo mixing it up. I don't think anyone realized that game was something they wanted before it came out and it turned out fantastic.
I think it would be really cool to have nintendo announce a MOBA game as a big surprise. That genre has a lot of potential and after seeing what nintendo did for shooters with Splatoon, I want to see the same thing done for MOBAs
I know what Jwitz really wants. kid Icarus on switch Co-op only, forcing you to use only one switch controller. Preserving the one stick design scheme that everyone loves.

The four things I care about the most for Nintendo's E3 presentation are Mother 3, details for Virtual Console on the Switch, a new Star Fox game that ISN'T a remake of a remake, and an actual new Smash game that isn't a port.
It's alright. However you word it though, I’m pretty sure people are getting sick of the same recycled plot laid out by the first Star Fox and Star Fox 64.
It's an interesting list overall. I would love another A.C. game any day of the week but I'm pretty happy with what they've announced so far. On a side note, I admit It's been a while since I last watched one of your videos, but it's 2017 dude, so what's with the audio? Are you recording "on the road" or something? I suggest recordong in a closet like matpat on Game Theory does or just do something to make it not so... maybe echo-y is the best way to describe it? I can tell you're in an open room without much furniture or items to absorb some of the sound you're putting out. I've even tried to listen on my TV and it just makes the back end of your voice really harsh-sounding. Not a troll. I think the video content was Good, but the sound quality is just a little grating.
If there's a new Kid Icarus, or even just a port, I might legitimately cry. It was my first 3ds game, the first game that got me into gaming, one of my favorite 3ds games, and has some of my favorite Nintendo characters. Sakurai, please!
You know, technically your #8 has been fulfilled with Sonic Forces. I know it seems foolish to look forward to a 3D sonic game, but this one genuinely looks good. Their sticking much more closer to the Generations/Colors formula, which most every one seemed to really like.
A new Kid Icarus would be awesome! I even thought that they could use the characters in that game for a Warriors Game! SkyWorld(or Kid Icarus) Warriors would be pretty cool!
I think number 10 may be a bit past left field. Someone hit a home run to the top of the Empire State building. However, Nintendo might have a catcher up there!
OK, my brothers practically hate me becaus I play both PC and console games, but hey. Two games3 that would look interesting on the Switch is Hearts of Iron IV--a WW2 era military-political simulator--and a redux of Victoria II--also a geopolitical simulator, but in the Victorian Era. Both games are produced by Paradox Interactive and their storylines and graphics are absolutely beautiful. But suddenly, I remembered you have to type in that game. The designers could include an on-screen keyboard. Givingmorders and plans would also be hard. Hmmm. Look it up if you have no idea what I'm talking about. Anyways, good list, JWittz! I think we all wish for an international release of Mother 3!
My personal dream announcement that will likely never actually happen... Pokemon World Tour. Similar to how Gold, Silver, and Crystal allowed you to go back through the Kanto region in addition to the new Johto region, World Tour would include all 7 main series regions.
These are my predictions. Maybe they're a just bit too hopeful but this is my best case scenario: -Super Mario Odyssey: Releases November 17 -Breath of the Wild DLC: First pack released by the end of June or mid-July -Brief mentions of Arms, Splatoon 2, and Pokkén DX -Mario + Rabbids: Releases August 18 -Fire Emblem Warriors: Releases September 8 -Pikmin 4: Releases October 20 -Xenoblade 2: Releases December 15 -Animal Crossing Switch: Releases 2018 Metroid Prime 4 by Retro (just a CG teaser): Releases 2018
At this point, I think Mother 3 will eventually make it to the West, but in the form of a remake rather than a port. The original game has so many narrative problems in terms of Nintendo's family-friendly image, so I don't think a localization is going to cut if for them.
Yeah but it would kinda ruin the game, wouldn't you think? It would be like say in Earthbound they replaced all the references with things that are relevant now like instead of any references to say the Beatles. Or if they replaces Yoyos with Fidget Spinners or something...
Something extremely crazy that I want Nintendo to do for the switch is not team up with EA sports, but EA as a video game company. I know it may seem far fetched but I can see some great things coming from this combination.

Well, It would look great on the switch, and the last game was 3 years ago. Also we didn't have the recycling issue in the 1980s to 90s so what gives, We got 4 mario 2D platformers in 6 years then and we got 4 2D mario Platormers in 7 years now, so why does everyone hate NSMB?

Stephen Brown I actually watched a video with a guy saying he's moreso betting on gen 1 remakes happening first. All because the most recent version of it is on an less recent engine than Sinnoh.

I've gotten really ridiculously cynical about Nintendos digital events over the years. I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking, and anyone who is better be ready for disappointment or were going to have an ultrasalt situation again
Yeah, the rule of thumb is set your expectations low so you're not disappointed if nothing is revealed, but you'll be pleasantly surprised if cool games are revealed. To be fair, I'm really banking on a new Metroid or Animal Crossing, AC especially, since it is basically the definition of what the Switch is.

While some may take this as a possible confirmation of Metroid and Mother 3 being confirmed, I take it as blind ignorance on the fact that Reggie, jokingly or not, is saying to wait a YEAR and see what people'll say, when we don't want Metroid or Mother 3 in a year. We want them NOW, and we always have for more than half a decade.
Reggie may not have any say in game development, but he's still the president of Nintendo of America. So he's still not only an important figurehead in the company as whole, but entirely controls whether or not Mother 3 will get localized. That is all. Case and point.

Josh I Oh I dunno, mayb the same reason they localized Earthbound Beginnings, a 30-year old game? (Being that there are fans of it outside of Japan that love it. Including JWittz, unless you haven't seen a video. While a remake would be legit, and I've been clamoring for an Earthbound remake for a while now, I'd rather have the original localized so everyone could play and experience that first.)
Sky sands for the unexpected part was a nice touch. Kirby Air ride was another good example of Nintendo mixing it up. I don't think anyone realized that game was something they wanted before it came out and it turned out fantastic.

The four things I care about the most for Nintendo's E3 presentation are Mother 3, details for Virtual Console on the Switch, a new Star Fox game that ISN'T a remake of a remake, and an actual new Smash game that isn't a port.

It's an interesting list overall. I would love another A.C. game any day of the week but I'm pretty happy with what they've announced so far. On a side note, I admit It's been a while since I last watched one of your videos, but it's 2017 dude, so what's with the audio? Are you recording "on the road" or something? I suggest recordong in a closet like matpat on Game Theory does or just do something to make it not so... maybe echo-y is the best way to describe it? I can tell you're in an open room without much furniture or items to absorb some of the sound you're putting out. I've even tried to listen on my TV and it just makes the back end of your voice really harsh-sounding. Not a troll. I think the video content was Good, but the sound quality is just a little grating.

You know, technically your #8 has been fulfilled with Sonic Forces. I know it seems foolish to look forward to a 3D sonic game, but this one genuinely looks good. Their sticking much more closer to the Generations/Colors formula, which most every one seemed to really like.

OK, my brothers practically hate me becaus I play both PC and console games, but hey. Two games3 that would look interesting on the Switch is Hearts of Iron IV--a WW2 era military-political simulator--and a redux of Victoria II--also a geopolitical simulator, but in the Victorian Era. Both games are produced by Paradox Interactive and their storylines and graphics are absolutely beautiful.
But suddenly, I remembered you have to type in that game. The designers could include an on-screen keyboard. Givingmorders and plans would also be hard. Hmmm.

At this point, I think Mother 3 will eventually make it to the West, but in the form of a remake rather than a port. The original game has so many narrative problems in terms of Nintendo's family-friendly image, so I don't think a localization is going to cut if for them.
