Sure On This Shining Night是美國作曲家Morten Lauridsen為美國作家James Agee的《描述天堂》(Description of Elysium) 一詩所譜寫的合唱曲，收錄於其2005年透過American Choral Directors Association’s Brock Commission推出的Nocturnes專輯內。這首樂曲成為了Morten Lauridsen的熱賣合唱歌曲之一。這段音樂意想著夏天的夜空中，可看到宇宙萬物浩瀚而安詳的影像。
Composed by the renowned American composer, Morten Lauridsen, Sure On This Shining Night is a part of Nocturnes, written for the American Choral Directors Association’s Brock Commission in 2005. The text is excerpted from the poem ‘Description of Elysium,’ by poet James Agee. This piece has become one of Lauridsen’s all-time best-selling choral octavos. Sure on this shining night conjures both the gentleness and the vastness of the universe viewed under the night sky in summer.
