Yard sale cards are the great. Last year I found a kobe rc , judge bowman rc and a nice 73 clemente from a small yard sale. Not alot of cards just a small pile. Paid 12 bucks for all and made a nice profit. Kept the clemente because I still love my vintage cards.

Unfortunately nobody looks at Beckett pricing anymore…it’s almost exclusively just checking what things sell for on EBay for prices….and some other similar sites.
are you finding that your time/margins/consistency has been better with cards lately? How are you juggling the garage sales / cards and deciding what’s with your time?
The card dream…the low end card dream is taking time, that’s for sure. I’m building it out and seeing a lot more sales. I’m trying to find that balance it’s tough, Whatnot helps a lot with my regular finds…I can move stuff quick and focus more on building out my card eBay business. It’s a constant five and take…I’m still figuring out :)

I like pulling comps on eBay real-time but is that bad form at a garage sale table like this? Do you need to be more discrete? Seems like you might have mental index of recent sales?
I’ve been doing yard sale negotiating for about 12 years…it’s definitely nuanced and I do have a “general” idea on prices based on experience, so that definitely helps…I’ll try to add in tips in the future
Very nice pickup for $30 especially considering he was way too high on all for $200. The Ferguson was an excellent score. I'd probably hang onto it...just one guys opinion but I think he's a better prospect than Owen Daniels when he was coming out of Wisconsin & now that it's his job to lose in Dallas I'd have to hang onto it since it's /50. Or you could get around half your investment back selling now

$30 is nothing the guy clearly spent hundreds getting those cards and you cherry picked him for $30 wow no wonder country going down the crapper it's all "eat thy neighbor" nowadays!

$30 was a great deal considering that Josh Allen Prestige Heroes card is worth $40 in the Football Beckett.
