While fishing 100 miles into the Gulf of Mexico on the Yankee Capts we thought we would take the time and put together a rigging video! We go over the bait, hook, leader all the way to the rod and reel for bottom fishing in Pulley Ridge! Although applicable to many different boats these bottom fishing techniques will be very beneficial when fishing on a drift boat or head boat. Using these simple techniques will help you land fish such as groupers, snappers, porgies and other bottom dwelling species. We fish this rig in 100 ft of water all the way to 600 ft of water!
