  • This week, we’re bringing you the latest video from a series that we call Home Coffee Brewing with April. This time around, we revisit Ti to explore his Espresso brewing techniques and philosophy whilst dialling in a mystery coffee.
We believe that innovation in coffee brewing starts at home, and that some of the most special and meaningful interactions with coffee can take place within your own kitchen.
As we are frequently travelling visiting our international partners, we decided to introduce this format as a way to interact with you on a different level whilst maintaining the frequency of our videos.
In this video, Ti brews a mystery coffee using his home espresso set up consisting of a Flair 58, a Lagom Mini from Option-O, a selection of distribution and dosing tools and a pouring kettle from Fellow. He is using Lotus water drops to add minerals to his brewing water, and scales from Acaia to measure his dry dose and yield. Ti even shows us his technique for producing milk beverages at home, using a Subminimal NanoFoamer.
We hope you enjoy this episode and we look forward to bringing you one final episode from here in Copenhagen, before we head off to Chicago for the next chapter of the series.

For Lagom Mini, slow feeding helps prolong that fragile motor even if you don’t believe in the better unimodality from slow feeding

Hello, first of all very lovely video! What method would you recommend for testing the minerals content in your water? I mean is there and easy way to do it (something like ph papers for example)? I have been buying my watter for some time now so it would be interesting to see what I am working with and what tap water do I have. Also would you recommend Flair for espresso beginners?
    Thank you very much!:)

You can get most of the things you need on Amazon for example, shouldn't have to be that expensive. Let us know how it works out.

I really like these series. However, they're a bit long.
