- If you are a conservator-restorer who have unused broken LED TV panal, this video is for you.
It is a bad moment If your screen is cracked, there is no way to repair the existing TV screen, you would have to replace the TV panel. In addition, these TV panels can also sometimes be very expensive and can cost up to 80% of the price you paid for the TV originally.

I’m sitting in front of a 65” broken Samsung and was thinking about making several kindle sized light pads powered by Christmas light LEDs, USB, and a rechargeable phone battery…. I will get small sleek white half sheet sized frames from dollar tree and build it off that. I have a bunch of thick poly styrene sheet plastic and scrap sheet metal I’m thinking about using too.

Clever and ingenious way to re-purpose a terminally damaged LED TV panel that would otherwise end up in a refuse depot or incinerator. Light boxes can be very expensive to buy as well.

Just use the LED TV remote control and once it switches on press the Media button, it will switch the TV to media mode which has no sleep mode.

Why Video acceleration
Well..... I did this with a Samsung 50" and it worked great. But when I tried it on a JVC 40" and a Philips 65" they BOTH go into stand by mode after a while. I have disconnected all that I can disconnect that does not turn of the the backlight but still they go into the stand by mode because they get no input signal. Advice?
Just use the remote control and once it switches on press the Media button, it will switch the TV to media mode which has no sleep mode.
@@sherif3afifi Which is the media button? No button on my remote says that. Do you mean source? I have already tried settings (cog-wheel) and the blue "options" button on my remote with the same result
The button which switches the TV to use the USB port for picture viewer or mp3 player mode
@@sherif3afifi I have attempted it now, it still shuts off and I even added a usb stick. But since this tv has 3 usb ports and I can not see the menu it is not easy to figure it out. Perhaps some models work fine with the trick and some do not

Lucky you if you are a doctor,remove the broken glass panel and you will have a light box for examination the x-ray film of your patients.Or can have it just for an ambient light and for joke and irony the backlight led stripes will last more than the eternity and never will fail.

ممكن تشتري ريموت بيكون ب ٢٠ جنيه ويشتغل على انواع كتير اسأل البائع عن الريموت المتوافق مع جهازك. اعتقد اى تعديل داخلي في الشاشه محتاج حد فني متخصص ، كمان الفكره هنا ان تظل الشاشه يمكن استخدامها مره اخري في حاله توافر قطع غيار ووجود الشاشه المكسوره بسعر مناسب واعاده تركبها فتبقى ماخسرتهاش .

just bought my dream smart tv last june 30. i bought it for my kids for them to enjoy at least their childhood. and after 11 days, my youngest broke it, like she broke my heart. i put everything just to bought it, didnt even buy a phone for me coz i know they most need the tv rather a phone for me. how happy that story :((

Its called "Dumpster-Panel" and you can get it from your local scrapyard ;)
it should be listed as an LCD display or LCD picture tube. you could either buy a new picture tube and install it or go to an appliance/tech repair store and get it replaced. warning : large LCD picture tubes are delicate and might be more expensive than a new television! good luck

شكرا على مرورك. تم إعادة استخدامها كمصدر الإضاءة (كما هو موضح بالعنوان). غالبا سعر تغيير الشاشه يكون قريب من سعر تليفزيون جديد.
