Well done! This dress looks fabulous on you. If I was to make one I would have to make it longer! Unlike yours, my knees are not fit to be seen! It looks very easy to wear, I am tempted though I have lots of stuff to be getting on with first. Thanks for showing us this lovely dress and reviewing the instructions. I love the buttons! That linen fabric is lovely, I can't wait to see it made up!
Beautiful dress and very neatly finished. I'm not a fan of double gauze myself but I love the colour of the fabric and it looks amazing on you. Thanks for all the information, it's a dress to make this year xx
This is a very professional looking make that you look amazing in. Love the styling with the hat & bag, very cool. Always look forward to your makes, no matter what those makes are, as they are always of interest.
Fabby fab fab! I have some lovely double gauze and buttons from you that I will use for this in Spring, thanks for the inspiration and belt loops are an excellent idea😁
@@HandmadeByDitsyTulip hi Mel I just bought 'a cup of coffee' on Ko-fi I hope you are still ditsy tulip on there.. I never thought to check.. Fingers crossed.
That colour on you is stunning and really pops in all the photos I've seen. Professor pincushion is great - I've used her zip fly instructions and they were a lot better than the deer and doe ones.
A gorgeous dress.I love the fabric and colour combination.Personally,I wouldn't size down as I think this dress is perfect on you .I think this style would look great with an Obi style belt.I'm not sure but I think you made one of these ages ago. I liked it loose on you and it looked lovely.Would you be able to film a tutorial of you making the next one?
Thanks so much Maureen 🧡🧡🧡 I’ll try to film some bits, unfortunately it’s hard to get time when not working in the daylight so I mainly sew at night when it’s too dark to film xxx
What a lovely dress. In particular I like the collar and the neckline. Did you have to gather the front to create the v-neck or was it the pattern itself I wonder?
Oh I love this one! Just add pockets and it's my ideal dress 😍 Would you say it's doable for a beginner? The only dress I've ever made before is the York pinafore.
Beautiful dress! I love double gauze fabric. Perfect pattern choice.
Thanks Sharon xx

Thanks Hayley I really like it ☺️ yes her vids are fab xx
For wearing a belt and not worrying about your dress getting too snug after a feast. I found wide elastic belts on Amazon. Perfect solution!
Oooh yes, I used to have some lovely elastic aged belts but cannot find them, definitely need to get some more xxx
I've used this pattern once already but now I've seen yours in double gauze, that got me thinking 😜 lovely review, thank you 😍
Thankyou it’s a lovely pattern isn’t it xx

Love your dress.

Thankyou ☺️💖 the pattern is shaped as v neck so no gathering required there
Beautiful! How was the double gauze with button holes. I was thinking about MN darling ranges with my AB DG but was worried about buttonholes!!
Thanks Deb. I had no problems at all with button holes, the placket is interfaced and it stitched them just right xx
