Your blazer is gorgeous. You will get years of wear out of that.

You are so good! Beautiful blazer and pants. The pink corduroy brought back to mind my first sewing attempt in the 1960s in a Home Ec class. I used red corduroy and my instructor made me rip out and reinsert the zipper 8 times! I just couldn’t get it right. It did not end well, with the corduroy fabric shredding and me in tears. Now I can laugh because she was only teaching me how to do it right, and I thought she was being very mean.

I love your blazer! I've had all the supplies to make a navy blue silk Blazer for many years but just haven't taken the leap to make it. After seeing your lovely Blazer it's made me want to get it made. Blazers are timeless.

Two lovely makes. Soon you will have forgotten the effort of making the blazer and just be able to enjoy it. The finish on the collar is outstanding - so crisp. The trousers do suit you. Being even smaller at 5'1" I have to think about proportions a lot, and would probably have to take a bit of the width out of those legs to avoid being swamped by fabric, but that's not a hard thing to do and I am now rather tempted to have a go.

Ooooh I love your blazer! I have this on my make bucket list. I bought the video course a while go for the Jasika, so hopefully that will be easier than having to read the instructions, haha.

I am so glad you were able to finish your Jasika jacket. It looks fabulous. I love the idea of using the Cricut press for interfacings but, unfortunately, I can't afford one of those. It is on my wish list but I can't see it happening! I haven't started my jacket yet. I'm saving up money for the fabric. I suppose I could do my toile in the mean time.

Thanks Maggie 💖💖💖 a toile would be a great idea, even if just to practise the techniques xx

I remember when the blazer pattern came out they said it was a more involved make which put me off as it seemed a lot of work, so well done in picking it back up and finishing it.
