My burning tongue was due to chemical inhalation injury. It’s been 3 1/2 yrs. It’s a little gotten better - the 1-2 years after the incident, it was hell. Now it feels like the tongue is tingling/burning, which varies throughout the day. Exposure to fragrance in products or straight perfume will activate the burning to intolerable levels. I live on dry mouth lozenges with zinc. Probably taking too much zinc as a result. I just hope that doesn’t cause any long term issues.
Probiotics. That’s what cured mine. Take some good probiotics and double the dose for the first week or two. I had it for over 3 years. Unable to eat anything with any kind of spice. Mine was obviously a gut issue.

I would say I have developed more food allergies as well lately, and my gums and mouth are still more sensitive to irritations since wearing the Invisalign, even after stopping them for 4 months now. But try taking a break from your guards and see what happens. There is always a reason for things, usually something new or that has recently changed in your diet or habits. Hello. My dad went through chemo and radiation treatment for head and neck cancer. So grateful to say he is in remission but now he is suffering from what we are almost positive is burning mouth syndrome. His doctors won’t diagnose it as such because they said we need to rule everything else out first but it’s taken months and months seeing so many different specialists and we can’t seem to find help anywhere or anyone who understands how much he is suffering. I watched your other video on burning mouth syndrome and I am just curious if you think it could be possible that maybe the nerves got damaged during his treatment and that might be what’s causing his BMS. The lack of compassion and understanding my dad has experienced trying to figure this out has been so disheartening

Have this for 14 years starts every day at 2pm. It drains me physically. I have spondylosis on my neck yeah. Prolotherapy for instability? Don't see how that would work. Unstable is unstable. I have this. It started with bcomplex overdose, eso acv and b5 overdose. I got severe acid reflux and acidity. Cant eat anything. Not even fruits .i feel mine is to do with bad stomach n hyperacidity

I’ve had my burning mouth/tongue for around 3 years now. I always suspected it was caused by a dental procedure as it presented straight after I’d been to the dentist. Now I’m 100% certain. I have not found anything that helps yet.

I do not know the exactly where but after the wisdom tooth removal I am going through hell going to different dentist and having B12. I cant eat anything spicy and it burns 80 percent of the day. I tried to touch a bit of nerve in front below the left ear and back of it. It does give some tingy sensation. Please help

This is a great question Stephanie. The thing with instability is that you don't just wake up one day with horrible instability. It is degenerative, meaning it happens over time and if nothing is done about it it continues to worsen. We cannot give a diagnosis without doing an evaluation. Tongue swelling could be caused by many things however we have seen that it (and other symptoms relating to the mouth) can be associated with cervical instability.

Hi Greg, They're discussing what to look for in a neck brace as many people try using a soft collar or Eclipse brace, Aspen brace or many other neck braces that are on the market. They're trying to explain how to position the head in a brace properly. Hope that helps a bit. i used to get the sour n metallic, i no longer have.that sour taste but now i have mild burning n wounds on my tongue

This is a great question Stephanie. The thing with instability is that you don't just wake up one day with horrible instability. It is degenerative, meaning it happens over time and if nothing is done about it it continues to worsen. For the instability to "be fixed" or for the ligaments and tendons to gain that stability, regeneration needs to happen. This is where Prolotherapy comes in.

Hi ..I try take lysine amino acid .. getting better in 2days drink 1500mg ..I felt better not hot mouth.. still drink zinc too and B12.. hopefully work forever 💕 thx for the advice me

We cannot give a diagnosis without doing an evaluation. Tongue swelling could be caused by many things however we have seen that it (and other symptoms relating to the mouth) can be associated with cervical instability.

Hi Greg, They're discussing what to look for in a neck brace as many people try using a soft collar or Eclipse brace, Aspen brace or many other neck braces that are on the market. They're trying to explain how to position the head in a brace properly. Hope that helps a bit. If you're working with a provider for your neck, they can probably help you figure out if a brace would be helpful and how to position it.
