Caution! All this is very curious, because these devices are not at all as effective as they describe in these videos. Beware.

Very uncomoftable to sleep with this Quiteon 3, whoever designed it should be punished by wearing these plugs every night for a year!!! Have they not heard about silicone? This is made of rough plastic! The foam tips are very poor quality. As for noise cancelling.... You could as well use the cheapest silicone plugs. 200 euro wasted, not to mention I had to wait for this crap nearly 2 months.

The QuietOn Website and TH-cam videos premiere attractive, credible people all enduring a range of noisy scenarios. And so these ACTORS pop in their QuietOn 3 earbuds, and a restful state of bliss washes over each one of them. Experiencing this type of bliss with my Sony XM4 (which really, really work), this side sleeper couldn't get his QuietOn buds fast enough. But after spending most of my evening revisiting the instructions and repeated fittings , it's back to Finland they go! THEY SIMPLY DO NOT WORK!

Thank you so much for this review. I am a Respiratory Therapist and I work the night shift at a large city hospital. That being said, I sleep during the day! Although I have room darkening shades, an eye mask and foam earbuds, I can still be woken up by the daily hustle and bustle of my neighborhood. Kids playing, lawnmowers, and dogs barking. White noise DOES NOT work for me. It always prevents me from falling asleep. I can't even sleep with a fan on. I need absolute QUIET. I will wake up even if my wife is in the kitchen and she opens/closes the refrigerator door. I think I'm in that very small category where these juuuuuust might work for me. I think I'm going to try them. THANK YOU so much for such an awesome review. Yes these are pretty expensive, but getting quality sleep for me is dire when working with my patients. I'll be sure to let you know how they work out! -Andy from Boston

Thanks Katie! These may be worth a try for me. I fit in that niche I think. I'm currently "sleep divorced" which is less than ideal but necessary for my wellness. Even though my Hubs wears his cpap, which mitigates the snoring, he will vent out his mouth (he's non compliant with a chin strap). While the noise is pretty low key and more of a hiss than a snore now, I can't stay asleep when he does this. Traditional buds, while effective at noise canceling aren't low enough profile for my side sleeping.

mine just arrived today. so far they're disappointing. playing white noise at different frequencies I switch them on and off with magnets and while there is a noticeable dampening of the sound it's not nearly what I was expecting. airpods are indeed better (but that cursed low battery noise is a deal breaker). I also tried with snoring sounds and the benefit is marginal. I'll see how they do with real world this week but at present I can't recommend them.

Oooo I might have to check these out! Right now I use wax earplugs and I can make them very comfortable because you can take off pieces of the wax to make them the perfect size for your ears. The foam earplugs are just way uncomfortable and too big for my ears. I like the idea of some white noise sounds though so I might check these out!

I've got the Sleepbuds 2 and very disappointed. They basically drown out noise by playing ambient sounds. Whenever yoy put the volume too low, you still hear noise. But what if yoy jist want silence? The sleepbuds 2 do nothing for that. They're just earbuds paired with a sound library. I expected a lot more from Bose.

I’ve been using the airpod pros and when I have it in noise cancellation mode, even without having something playing in my earbuds, it greatly reduced the severity of snoring coming from my husband. Ever since he gained 60 pounds, he has started snoring. I have terrible hip & back pain so our bed is the most comfortable spot in the house for me to sleep, so I won’t bunk with the kids or sleep on the couch. And my husband works 60+ hours a week with an extremely physically demanding job, so I always decline his offer when he offers to sleep on the couch. I couldn’t in good conscious do that to him. I can’t use my airpod pros when I sleep anymore because they dig into my ears (I have to sleep on my side to reduce sleep paralysis occurrences), and my ears even began to bleed. It’s probably from friction. I’m wondering if these will be any different from the Bose or airpod pros in regards to noise cancellation and comfort because these quieton buds are expensive. If anyone has recommendations other than traditional ear plugs, I would try appreciate it.

A wildly mid product provided by an absolute joke of a company. Do to this video I decided to give these a try because it seemed like they could help drown out a new noisy neighbor and snoring partner who were keeping me up all night. Turns out a $10 8-pack of reusable/moldable silicone earplugs from Amazon work 20x better than these. Anyways, it took Quieton nearly 3 weeks to initially ship my order, and only did when I opened a PayPal claim after they refused to cancel my order. I tried the product and was not at all impressed and decided to return them 1.5 weeks after actually getting them. Quieton made the process excruciating, and wanted me to do endless amounts of troubleshooting even though I made it clear they were working, I just didn't like them (this is apart of their advertised 30 Day Return policy). Their next move to prevent you from returning them is by making you pay out of pocket to ship them back to Sweden, even though the product ships from the US. It cost me an additional $40 just to send them back. They sat in International shipping limbo for over a month, and even after they received them they waited 2 additional weeks before responding to my email asking how long it would take for them to process it. I'm only getting my money back because PayPal closed the claim on my favor. These sound like a great and innovative product on paper, but honestly they're not even worth the $40 I spent to return them. Quieton is a dishonest company that doesn't care about their customers. Please avoid this product/company at all costs.

Thanks so much for your great work.

  • @DR-gx2cb
    @DR-gx2cb 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

I own both the Quieton's as well as the Bose sleepbuds. I am a real consumer - this is not some fake review. Four months after I purchased the Quieton's, the sound cancelling feature stopped working making the product useless. After a long six week waiting period, Quieton replaced the earbuds. Guess what, four months later, the same thing happened the noise cancelling failed. Changing the foam earpieces did not do anything. Quieton refused to do anything saying their liability is limited to the cost of the earbuds. I was entitled to just this one replacement and they were not standing by their product. Tough luck. $300 out the window.
Don't deal with this company. They have a problem with their product and they refuse to own up to it. Bose also had a major problem with their sleepbuds, but offered multiple replacements. They recently got out of the business.

As long as he's getting a good night sleep err....no.

I live in an EXTREME noise environment, and I do mean extreme. I cannot wear ear plugs, my ear canals are very small and they just fall out. There are trains, noisy, rumbling, roaring, (like an f-5 tornado in the backyard) clanging, horn honking, shaking, vibrating. We live in an older mobile home and it is very poorly insulated. We just bought this place not knowing the trains run thru at night, our agent conveniently forgot to tell us this...SOOOO, we're stuck here, at least for awhile. Do these quiet on things fit in very small ear canals and would they block the sound of the trains??? Thanks...

I am curious how you are measuring how much deep sleep you are getting. I have a wellue O2 ring, is there a way to use the data from that to figure it out?
I don't usually wake up a lot at night but I don't get good sleep either. I think of myself as a light sleeper, my phone alarm vibrating is enough to wake me up. I think it's possible that noises are keeping me out of deep sleep but not fully waking me up. Foam ear plugs and white noise from an air filter does not seem to be enough. I can't sleep to music or other "peaceful" sounds. So I am wondering if this could help...
    Thanks again!

Just watched a guy who did a review on these earplugs to block out his upstairs noisey neighbors. This is exactly what I'm dealing with. He said they were useless. That tells me everything I need to know about these earplugs. Not only that, iit costs about $160 to return. This is because they have to go back to Finland, which is where they are manufactured. Even though they were shipped to him from Pennsylvania. So what you get back, for their "money back guarantee" is the difference.

After 3 months of use of Quieton 3 by my wife, we claimed that 3 foams out of the 6 received are completely worn out and damaged and they tell us that they are not covered in the warranty as they are consumables and even for proper operation of the device, we should exchange them once a month (cost nearly 40€, parts + transport costs). I just ordered a pair of these. There is no reasonable way to test the active noise canceling claims of these earplugs. There is no indicator anywhere on them to show they if they are even on. Keep in mind these are also physical earplugs. The instruction booklet gives you scenarios to go prove to yourself they are working: "Go stand with your ear next to your dishwasher". Guys, if you have to tell your customers how they can convince themselves your product is doing something more than plugging their ears, then it is probably not a great product.

I tried all the foam pieces to get a tight fit, and nothing changed. The directions say to roll the foam and have them in your ears in 10 to 15 seconds. Still no difference. I bought these for snoring and was disappointed. Support wanted to do a video, but they were only available from 1am to 4 am. When I was an engineer I worked in noise cancellation and worked for a hearing aid company testing. I have asked for a return and full refund. They have a great idea if it works. I miss my Bose II earbuds.

Just got on Tech support with QuietOn at 1:30am. They are going to send me a shipping label for a return under warranty. Waiting to see what they determine.

I can see these having an application in my lifestyle. At home I have a white noise air purifier, and that suits me, but alas I don't always sleep at home. Thank you Katie for fighting the good fight of helping people sleep better, you sure have helped me. hugs

For the budget-minded consumer, would you mind also trying other cheaper alternatives? Maybe also like foam earplugs? And can you show how to use them properly to block sound? Thanks!

These are not bluetooth. Are you asking just in general with other devices?

these aren't bluetooth, but bluetooth is of no concern. it's such low power it barely penetrates the skin and absolutely none reaches your brain.

Lol! How she conveniently didn’t compare the size with Bose or Amazon fit . Obviously she gets paid for this, what a terrible commercial and a pathetic trick
