- Hey Guys, Migs Here! In this video, we are going to pick up a new project! It is a legit 1/2 scale NASCAR, also know as a super mini cup car, that was actually raced and fully inspected by professionals! This thing is INSANE! You should build the under cage to look like Leroy then make the body look like the dale truck so it could be both!!!
The centrifical clutch is bad. You matters well get a torque converter it will be way faster as well.
Lightning 12 the clutch is fine. It’s a special high performance clutch with a high stall point so the cart can launch in the powerband
Yeah i would get a torque converter. Theyre better. You can go faster and the kart would launch harder with the correct torque converter. And that clutch on there is done. Its rusted up and old. If i was to own this i would completely ditch the engine and get a 450cc quad engine. Clutch, electric start, gears= way fuckin faster
What you should do is tilt the seat more back and move the foot pedals forward so your head is inside the kart

the nascar plastics look bad id just turn it into a big gocart or some dune buggy ratrod looking thing prob cus they dirt paint it black and red

Put some padding round top tubes for your head it will also lift the body up a bit
That is a really old gen 1 version of the MMRA Super Mini Cup cars. Originally the series ran 18HP Honda motors that were aloud to be built up. Then the Gen 2 chassis had full coil over suspension and the series then aloud another class to start that we ran 30 HP twin cylinder Brigs that were built and ran on alcohol. Not many places still have these race cars running on a weekly series. The dirt late models are still around but about the same popularity. The best half scale cars out there are the S Harp mini late models. They are based off the 600cc micro sprint car chassis

I raced these in 99-00 here in Georgia! Super fun, we ran on 1/2 mile and 1/8 mile tracks with built 5.5 Honda engines. It was nothing for us to run 100-120mph on the 1/2 mile.

We had Similar at a Track I worked at but Slightly Bigger. Roof Tilted/Was Hinged so you could get in and out. Also had a 20hp Honda Twin in the Rear. DETUNED... It could go 75MPH! We Know this because the Boss Man got Pulled over by the Cops on the Hwy Testing it. He didn't get a ticket... Cop thought it was kinda Funny that he was doing 75 in a 55 in a Go Kart! Can't seem to find these anymore, only ones like the ones in the video. I Say Slightly Bigger because I am 6ft4 and my head did not touch the roof while sitting.. more like Laying in side and the Roof was Closed. With a 3 Point Harness, Full Roll Cage.

That thing needs a 4 cylinder honda motorcycle engine in it. 500cc and up. Make a hand shifter.

Mini cups they are rare now the best place to find races is in Michigan most tracks have vanished because it's to expensive to race them anymore

i currently race these but in the uk. here people from 7-16 race these but once you reach 17 you move in to a bigger car called a pro grand
dude what you need to really do is try to install a clutch lever or something on it so that if you rev it and pop the clutch you can get to a higher speed faster- and also that clutch is shit so try to buy a torque converter with a belt to chain drive for extra power, then try to install the clutch lever for an even better start. you should remove the exhaust and customize a wider exhaust. on ebay or amazon you can also buy a gas pedal setup for cheap (like $20?) which you could use on it also. you can also consider getting hoosier drag tires in the future. a couple more upgrades like this and you may even be able to pull off a burnout. also if you do end up reading this then i want to say that your vids are sick and i would like to see more in the future bro. peace out

In Gatlinburg tn they have a mini NASCAR track with about 100 of these I wonder if that's where this one came from
Sorry for the late reply. I live in pigeon forge and where I work let's me get in to the nascar park free. The carts they have aren't 1/2 scale, they are 1/4 scale I believe. They are still badass though
For anyone wondering why it looked slow in the parking lot it’s because the cart has a high performance centrifugal clutch with a high stall point so the cart can launch in the powerband. So the high rpms while putting around made it look slow

you need to put a bigger engine in it and when you do put some extra foam around head bars that would be great for the channel

u need to swap 250cc yz engine or 350cc banshee engine to that thing :D i wold love to see that thing with tons of pure 2 stroke power! pls swap some good 2 stroke engine to that thing!!
