11:05 - The Cricket. I don't know what that was that you were showing, but whatever it was, it was definitely was not electric or battery powered. Those are clearly 2-stroke engines mounted on the front of the plane.
The cricket airplane appears to have two engines. If I am not mistaken (and I could be) the wires are for spark plugs not needed on an electric. Plus there are two exhaust pipes, also not needed on an electric.
Can we talk about #7 ( 11:08 ) though? "its a tiny, homemade, electric, battery powered airplane" the clip where this was said literally showing the muffler and exhaust system, the carb and spark plug of this little petrol engine lol. Now I'm not saying there arent models that arent electric in existance but the ones in the video are 100% petrol.
Man ur videos are pretty cool. When are u posting ur next video. I have subscribed to your channel and have clicked the notification bell for more videos
That microjet at 4:00 or so is a copy of the BD5-J, designed by Beede, and was used in a James Bond movie as well as airshows. This seems to be nothing but a copy.
half right ... that IS lil nelly ... the person .. is the grand son of the original builder of lil nelly ... so it isnt a copy it is her grand daughter
0:49 wtf is up with the thumbnail kid? Everything looks badly edited through Microsoft paint. His shirt looks like it was drawn on and then someone used a paint bucket of green on it.
Reva was later acquired my Indian manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra. They have a wonderful compact that’s still available in the market called Mahindra Reva E2O
I had a 1957 German Gogomobile. A 2 cyl rear engine 4 spd. It rode on 10" boat trailer tires. It was a micro car. You could not see it parked in front of a 1980 Plymouth Horizon. It fit in the back of a pick up truck. I used to chain it to a light post when I drove it somewhere so no one could pick it up and take off.
The Gravity Jet suit is cool but needs more work. I definitely want the 007 Microjet and one of Howe & Howe's tanks. Maybe the Badger or the larger model we saw in the video.
Obviously, the "Cricket" airplane shown are not battery powered. You can clearly see exhaust pipes and spark plugs sticking out from the top of the engines.
The cri-cri cricket has twin 15cc combustion engines, where did the LiPo engine come from, LiPo is a battery not an engine, you need to check your scripts before confusing people.
Not to rain on your parade, the cri cri has twin 15 horse power ICE's not 15cc which is cubic centimeter, there is also a pretty bad ass turbine version. I fly rc planes and have several 15cc nitromethane and gas engines.. if those would lift a person... you can bet I would be flying in them :)
Yeah, but most folks that commit crimes don't have that kind of money. But I do however hope that I see one of these used in the murder documentaries I watch
I think the Motocompo is a great looking little bike. It would be great for ppl in the city to get around and then place in a closet in their apartment. I can't believe it isn't still produced.
Everything wrong with this video: (Just kidding, No offence intended to the creator, just making some corrections and commenting on each vehicle.) :) #15 Most of the mini-semis shown are one-of-a-kind homebuilt trucks. Most of them have gasoline engines producing 5-15hp with some having more power than that. Generally, they have a top speed of 15-25mph. The electric mini-truck you talk about; the "S730" is an open roofed toy and not a real go-kart. (think power-wheels). #14 Gravity suit is cool, but fuel will always be the bane of this kind of thing. Until we can find some sort of unlimited power source and even then, we would need to create thrust somehow and there's only so many ways to go about doing that which produces a high enough power to weight ratio. Also, I bet it requires LOTS of training and practice to fly. Still cool. #13 Badger Assault Tank is a neat idea for SWAT to use as a shock weapon. Might actually prove useful in some scenarios. Awesome little machine, based on a mini skid loader chassis. At 3:43 the tank shown is the chassis of a tank built by a man in Australia, the tank is a scaled down version of a Sherman tank. Here's the video. th-cam.com/video/W65iNSKKn5s/w-d-xo.html Mr. Tankman Dave also named his tank CHASSIS the "Badger" but in no way is it connected to the Howe & Howe brother's Badger tank. At 3:49 you show paintball tanks. th-cam.com/video/thmvxp3tcy8/w-d-xo.html There are companies in the USA and England (and probably elseware) that use these for tank-only paintball games; Very cool, and looks super fun, but they definitely are NOT the Howe & Howe Badger. #12 is the Bede BD5J. Absolutely awesome machine. #11 FREEKING AWESOME. I love that little machine. #10 Smallest "Street Legal" jeep. Its a cool machine, and he is an awesome car builder! AND he is helping people. That is the coolest thing about it. But, if you include off-road-only: (this isn't a correction, just an additional info) They get SMALLER! :) Because this exists th-cam.com/video/I9LtgcHLn0I/w-d-xo.html And even smaller and cooler, THIS exists! hehe. th-cam.com/video/LMg4rfK-KZ4/w-d-xo.html #9 Mosquito Helicopter is awesome. #8 Peel P50 is epic and ugly! I love it. #7 Here....this one hurt. It only has TWO motors, there IS 1 Cri-Cri that is electric, it originally had a flight time of 30 minutes and can reach 80mph. The builder Upgraded the plane with stronger 25hp electric motors and LiPo batteries, I wasn't able to find flight time for that version but it did reach almost 165mph singe the electric motors have lower drag than the bulky gasoline engines do. The gasoline versions have 15hp engines that give a max speed of 140mph (120mph cruise) and have a cruise range of 144 minutes. There is a version with Jet engines, but it has the same performance as the gasoline version. The first flight was in the early 1970s, unless you are talking about the electric version which as you say, flew in 2010 #6 is awesome. You nailed it. #5 is really cool. #4 is awesome, I Would TOTALLY ride that thing!! #3 looks fun and useful. #2 That thing is so slow and so ugly. lol. #1 Volksjager is such a fascinating machine. Final thoughts, Just do a bit more research, as a presenter you do a fantastic job. Keep up the good work,
The jet suite is one of the coolest I’ve ever seen! The little tank is badass along with the Mosquito XE helicopter. I’d be terrified to hit a bug in that tiny little clown car.
All of the hand-held photography with it's jerky filming made this very hard to watch. It was kinda like a 20 minute long UFO video. I just got motion sickness and had to stop before the end. (p.s. was that really a UFO at 13:46 ? we may never know...)
