An interesting idea but slightly flawed. To replicate an icebox or Mugen intake effectively you must enlarge the air opening into the airbox and increase the size of the pipework. Without doing that all you gain is very little noise from removing the resonator box. The improved breathing from the bigger ducting will result in some proper induction noise
Either way bud, the box is actually going to trap that heat and keep it in that box bud, got my short ram going to the fender, I definitely get more power, I feel the intake filter,it's cold, not hot, the box is going to heat soak, without one, it would actually breath better. This is your opinion bud, not facts
Ok "bud"...you couldn't be more passive aggressive. You extended your "short ram" to the fender, and now its a cold air...your filter wasn't hot but how about the rest of the piping? Everything you said was your opinion and you didn't bring anything to the table.....bud.
