I literally have the exact same "owl" sound in my 2018 Grand Turismo right now, in addition to running lean and rich, persistent taps on cold starts and the engine randomly feeling like it's going to shut off when in stopping or stopped at a sign/light. Local garages say it's the actuator (OBD2 also say that).
@consumerreviewsanddiys6277 I didn't end up doing it. The only code I get is combustion control, I was going to fit them to see if it was that, but I was convinced it was a vacuum leak as this issue came after my pcv failed and i replaced it. But when going to fit them today, i thought I'd have another quick look about. The resonator box on the airbox pipe has a big split in it, difficult to see as it's split on the mould edge of the rissen pieces. I ordered a silicone hose and if this doesn't fix the problem, I'll replace them and let you know how i get on 😁
I’m not sure about that. However, if you go through the process of removing the actuators I would recommend just replacing them. Thanks for stopping by!
Which side is the intake one? I only need to change to intake one. Thanks in advance
That's a good question, I'm not certain on which side belongs to what. I'll pin your question, @chat

Can you clean the actuator as a temporary fix?
I’m not sure about that. However, if you go through the process of removing the actuators I would recommend just replacing them. Thanks for stopping by!
Are the actuators both the same?
Yes it’s the same actuators for both the intake and exhaust.
