They knocked my dog (in his crate) off the conveyer belt when it was halfway up getting on the plane. We happened to be sitting right above the cargo belt. The crate landed upside down. My daughter who saw it all went hysterical. The guy looked around to see if anyone saw it happen and then put it right back on the belt, not checking to see if our dog was hurt. Our dog was the biggest coward you will ever see and he was totally freaked. We got up and told the crew we wanted to see our dog. They stopped the plane from taking off (I am sure the other passengers were irritated) and brought the crate to us. It was a good thing. The fall had knocked the door off its hinges. While our dog was fine, physically anyway, we knew if we hadn't caught the fact the door was off its hinges, our dog's fear would make him impossible to catch and he would have jumped out of the plane if given the chance, hurting himself very badly. The guy loading the plane needed to be educated on what he is supposed to do if he drops a living thing onto the cement. But very glad this dog's flight was just boring! Good time for a nap
Omg I am watching these videos to understand how the process is and my heart! I am crying thinking about my dog, super anxious going to a 10h flight. God help us.
I'm actually kind of happy with how gentle the loaders were with the dog crates. I anticipated them being cruel and rough and mean to the dog, but the one guy seemed nice who was loading and the TSA checker didn't shove the dog back in, she/he was gentle and even signaled to the dog, assuming it was smart enough to understand his/her meaning and comply. I was really worried this would be some kind of abusive scariness. I mean, yeah the one dog was clearly frightened, as stated, but so are little children and babies who can't yet speak enough english to be told what's going on. So overall I was pretty happy seeing this. good on ya Canadian Air.
Yes, but the baggage handlers were in an American airport. The dude was on the way to Canada, so the handlers were Americans. The baggage handlers are hired by the airport, not the airlines.
Yeah, a little, but amazing how the darkness of the cargo hold and the sound of the engines soothes the animals. But a little doggie tranquilizer may have been a good idea.

Because someone commented below: DO NOT USE A SEDATIVE ON ANIMALS WHEN THEY ARE GOING TO FLY. It may seem like the calmer, nicer thing for them to be asleep or dopey the whole flight but it is UNSAFE and POTENTIALLY LETHAL. Sedatives often lower body temperature and in the cool environment of the plan can cause the animal to go into hypothermia. Hypothermia if left untreated can lead to serious and dangerous problems from the animal. Please do not risk your animal's lives. Do not put them in danger under under under assumptionof will be better for them. Animals can handle stress, they do so in the wild constantly. What they cannot handle is hypothermia or allergic reactions. I repeat. It is EXTREMELY UNSAFE to sedate an animal before a flight.
@@GTA5Player1 Multiple people commented on it so I thought best to put it in the general comments. I felt no need to sort through comment after comment and comment the same thing
My cat will move with me in ten days via cargo from Mauritius to Austria. (So scared already for him) All of the airlines I checked actually refused to take a sedated animal for this reason. It is allowed to give them something to calm them down, but if the animal is sedated and deeply asleep, they will refuse to put them in cargo.
Yes but these are the people who aren't supposed to be careless, we are trusting our live with these people. What if it had been a bomb instead a camera and that person was careless?
I think they should start providing better accommodations for pet travel. maybe have a section where people can travel WITH their pet in cargo or maybe a guardian who travels with the pets to keep an eye on them OR a pet class section ON the plane.
Y'all don't know what the swipe test is? Why dk you think they rubbed down the cage? If there was a bomb anywhere in the cage, the residue would've been picked up by the wipe
It's great that the dogs had a good enough experience with air Canada. With American Airlines a lot of the the animals end up dehydrated, they get their cages kicked and are just badly treated in all kinds of ways. Some pets that travel with American Airlines even die.
JTsuits That can actually result in the animal dieing. I use to work for an airline loading animals and I saw one dog not survive a flight because his owner drugged him. Medications do not react the same at 10,000 or higher feet and they also do not react the same in pressurized environments.
Most ppl do give their dogs meds before a flight but my dog was so freaked out that the meds didn’t even phase her! It was so hard walking away from her in the crate, she screeched, whined and barked...probably wondering what was happening. It was awful.
Azzie And Hazard what's a good one to use on 70-90 lbs dogs for long distance driving? It wouldn't need to last the whole drive, just long enough for them to be past the initial first two hours of "OMG CAR RIDE" excitement
1. They were never placed on a baggage cart. They were transported directly from the terminal to the plane via a Pet Courier Service Van (that has a/c) 2. They were not loaded first. Checked luggage is loaded in a separate compartment. They were placed in the fwd, air conditioned, compartment (a.k.a plane-side luggage compartment) the bags you saw them loading at the end were most likely oversized carry-on’s checked at the gate and possibly some mail. -Ramper P.S. If employees follow the rules and regulations that the airlines and federal regulators have set in place for transport of live animals it is perfectly safe albeit, stressful, for any animal. It’s when careless workers do not follow the regulations that things happen.
Do any of you have any recommendations if the pets are cats? I have to travel international as I’m moving to a different country and am so worried about my cats going in this cargo area of the plane
I took my 6kg dog (I think that’s like 13lbs) with me in the cabin. We flew with Air France and it was really nice. My dog is actually a little too big in size for the cabin but as she doesn’t weigh much, she was still allowed on. She was really comfortable in her bag and I think it was really good that I was able to have her with me rather than her having to be in a crate all by herself
I think what is more scary about this video was that fact that a device went undetected in an animals cage. Imagine what else could make it on any plane then?
I don't know why people put their pets thru this sort of stress to begin with. Unless you are moving leave your pets at home. This short term stress can cause long term issues with animals.
Del .. I 100% agree. I realize that this isn't an option for many but when I was a teenager we left our family pet (a beagle) at a kennel. We all missed her and the reunion was mostly happy tears from us all. The dog was well taken care of but my dad vowed to never do that again and bought a used RV. All of our subsequent trips were together...no regrets!
This video is quite claustrophobic. I would never understand why they put dogs in the same place as the luggage. They are not items, they are living beings.
Coca Cola still what if the dog is claustrophobic or something?they can maybe have a big play space the keep the animals in with their own types of spaces.dogs aren't items, they are living beings.
NOAHSWIFE2007 Your vet can prescribe sedatives to keep your pet calm while traveling. When my friends moved to Florida they drove down with their cats. One had to be put on medication so it wouldn't freak out.
i once had to fly from Az to CA with my cat, she was underneath my seat in her carrier meowing the whole time, the attendants moved me to the very last row, so we both could cried the whole way. I was 14 moving to a new state and left behind my BFF. Thank God it was the late 80's and people were still human.
This is very respectable. Good thing you didn't use American airlines. Kudos to you for putting a camera in there. You can't expect people to behave these days unless they're under a camera 24/7. It has become necessary to say the least. Thank you for caring about animals.
can you suggest some safe or safest airlines for my dog? I'm really hoping she could be with me in the cabim since she is a maltese and she's small but if other airline wouldn't allow then I had to put her in cargo hold.
from mco parking lot to yyz parking lot was 5 hours. Your dog will be safe, just need to prepare her, check the link in the description on how I trained my dogs for the trip.
Statistically speaking, more dogs injured and die in a car every year than flying. If it's going to be a 14 hours flight, destination is outside the US, so driving is not an option at all.
Wow you're such an idiot there's something call south america, and more dogs die in fucking cars because not nearly as much dogs fly a goddam year you idiot, why don't you check the statistics for chances of death per flight/car ride
It doesn't take 14 hours to fly to South America from the US. Also you cannot drive to South America from the US, I've actually rode my motorcycle from Chile to Vancouver, had to ship my bike from Colombia to panama in order to continue up north. So what is the chances of death in an automobile VS flight? 1 in 98 for a lifetime. For air and space transport (including air taxis and private flights), the odds were 1 in 7,178.
Worked for Air Canada for over 30 years and shipped hundreds of dogs all over the world. Can't recall even 1 not making it. Stressful? Of course, as is many things in life, like a visit to the vet or moving, but shipping your dog to a destination is fast, safe and efficient. Most airline employees have pets and animals are generally treated very well during their journey. They're the 1st boarded and the 1st deplaned at the destination, travelling back and forth on the tarmac in special "warm" trucks.
You really mean to tell me that all of the bullshit that we go through to get terrorist checks all the lines and waiting and my plane could still just blow up from that careless check. What...the....FUCK?
kandyrew Yeah, the TSA really doesn't do much do they? Besides taking up a large amount of taxpayers money and slowing the entire process down. They may discourage terrorist attacks but have yet to openly stop any at least the last time I checked their statistics. Found a lot of drugs? Yes. Bombs? Not so much...
This gave me anxiety and made me cry. I don't think any human can understand how devastatingly stressful and horrible this is to go through for an animal. Remember that their senses are far stronger than we can even imagine. This is a horror show for them, in every sense, and they have to go through it entirely alone. It breaks my heart to see how scared they are.
Are you sure you arent projecting?. 10s of 1000s of animals are flown round the world every year... im not saying it isnt stressful when they take off and land and get crashed around- but dogs are hardcore- they're resilient - and they get over it. Better to have abetter life with their owner than be left behind
I totally get why an animal would be stressed out trapped in a dark and loud environment with no way of knowing what is going on or where their humans are.
they use explosives detection cotton whipes and scan them. the cage can be an explosive molded to be a cage. the dog can be wearing explosives. if they would, the cotton swipes would show that the cage, or the dog within it, had contact with explosives. and who says electronics is not allowed in luggage? maybe the dog listens to music. it does not have to listen to the emergency thing. who cares.
Dogs are often shipped with shredded paper or similar absorbent material to help contain messes. Horses are shipped in large containers that essentially mimic a trailer and are loaded onto a plane with one to three horses per container. These are specially designed to contain messes as horse urine is very destructive and bedding is used to help absorb waste. For dogs feeding is often withheld unless deemed absolutely necessary on extremely long flights or for medical reasons, for horses, hay will be offered in haynets but grain will be withheld.
Often times they do get anaesthetised. Taking our dog from Texas to Germany many years ago that was the case. Not saying it's like that in all cases but usually is the case more often for longer international flights vs. 3 or 4 hour hops. As far as pee and poop go, they usually just go in the crate.
in the 80s my uncle used to put on some sunglasses put a harness on his German Shepherd and get a walking stick and they would let him just walk on the plane with his dog
This video almost brought me into tears. Vienna looked so worried, clueless and confused. I am moving to Germany with my kitty from the US in 2 months and fortunately he can be carried in-cabin. I can't imagine the stress both me and him need to go through.
That not how you spell Zelda, either ! Katz and dawgs, katz and dawgs, katz and dawgs, no it not raining where I am, I'm just hungry. I know lotz of Katz: Sol, Sid, Ira, Murray- they run a pawn shop in Crown Heights.
Your doggie handled the kennel travel very well. Only time of anxiety was going up the conveyor belt into the belly of the plane. Thanks for the video.
This makes my heart even bigger for dogs/cats that go through this. They must be so confused and scared. But feel so happy and relieved when they say their human best friend
Oh my god the comments are cancer. He obviously cared about his dogs, why else would he hide a camera in their crate. Not everyone can afford better travel methods and most if not all airlines don't give any other option to fly pets.
Craig Nows What about that Canadian psychopath who so craved fame that he murdered a man, and had sex with the corpse as he cut it up... All on video. He also uploaded videos of himself vacuum sealing baby kittens. Very disturbing shit...
drinkallthesunshine he's in that part of Canada nobody talks about. Also he is disgusting, I believe he got caught and tried but released i don't remember the details.
My advice to you. Don't put your dog in the cargo compartment unless you absolutely must. If the temperature control fails in the cargo, or false fire indication, your dog will not survive. If you must ship him this way, try to find mild temperature days. Don't do it in the summer if it's 100 degrees outside. A ziptie is a good idea. You don't want the cage to open and your dog runs away onto the runway with fear. Believe my words. I work for an airline.
"If the temperature control fails in the cargo" *_IF_* If the plane crashes.... While I would feel uneasy about it, these things are regulated, and surprisingly, there are back-up systems in case of a failure
If it's too hot usually the airlines won't ship pets anyways. My family flew from Texas to Germany many years ago during the month of August. That was too hot so the airline said we had to wait until September before she could be shipped.
***** Do you know how many times, pet travel perfectly fine? Airlines, such as Southwest, allow animals to be brought into the cabin. If you understood about the structural integrity of the aircraft, you would know that it is: Pressurized, and Configured for a living animal/human to be in it for a decent amount of time. Am I saying that they should be put into there for hours upon hours? - No. Am I saying that I would break down crying seeing my dog get into the cargo hold of a 737-700 for an hour and a half flight? Not really, no. Look at actual data, and see that the ratio of deaths to fine flights is a lot more different that your likely biased information.
***** I've flown for nearly more than a decade. Often times, the 'pet' experience goes perfectly fine. "My cats life is worth more than your pets, apparently" - please support this, as there is no reasoning in this
Your pups were treated pretty well. Props to the airline. I met a bartender a few weeks ago who said he used to be a baggage handler. He told me to never fly with my pets. But this video makes me feel better about it.
I don't have the raw footage inside the cabin anymore, but it was not THAT noisy, remember the jets are on the wings, once the cabin was closed, it's not any louder than inside a sky diving cessna.
Yeah, but it does actually raise a very good question about x-rays for dogs. What if someone were to feed the dog some type of explosive then wash them and then blow them up while in the sky?
It doesn't feel right watching this animal caged and put into a dark baggage area with no idea what's going on. This was actually hard to watch. As an owner I wouldn't put any of my animals through this.
sometimes it is inevitable to leave an animal at home, when moving from brazil to chicago there was no other way. the animal will get over it with time.
Wow people get defensive. My point is, why should animals be treated like baggage rather than living things? You do realize animals have died and been injured in transport on airplanes? By all means animals should be able to fly, but why in THOSE conditions? Thats horrifying. And do you think those baggage handlers, who arent paid very well are gentle with those animals when no one is looking? Think beyond what you've been conditioned to think.
I am stressed out on behalf of the dog here. I pray we never have to move overseas with our dogs...if we move anywhere in the US, we'll be driving, thank you.
Touche. And I'm not saying it's anybody's fault here...just that I wish airlines could find a way of transporting the animals so they weren't so afraid/stressed. :(
Aw the poor doggie looked so stressed and anxious! Poor little baby! I want to move back to my country next year, and the thing that worries me the most is having to bring my beagle in the cargo. 😢😢😢😢
I have to fly with my cat in december, im so scared, any tips for cats? it will be an international flight, 9 hours, can he be with be all the time? or he must to go in cargo ?
Very few airlines allow pets in the cabin for various reasons. It's a cat for crying out loud. Give it water, give it a blanket to lie on and it'll quite happily sleep through most of the flight in cargo. You don't need to mollycoddle it.
yes but some people don't treat them right, sitting in hot areas for more than regulated legal time, abrupt movements, my dog is not just any other animal, he is a family member, if he came out over heated or almost dying or I record any kind of abuse, you best damn expect some law suits from me
mexalkid So basically, you would sue if your pet had to sit somewhere longer than you want, or if he wasn't handled in a way so as to be perfectly comfortable, while you're herded into economy class on another plane? 'Murica, people.....
The theme song is copyrighted. Since the video's editing style is a parody off the original TV show, it falls under "fair use" section of the copyright law. I'm THAT idiot you're referring to.
The dogs are lovely. I'm so glad they made it to their destination. It was a great idea to document the trip. I hope one day in the future that all dogs can travel in the cabin with their owners.
I'm glad your video did not show any abuse. The baggage handler could have said, "Hi." The dogs did great, no whining or crying. Better than I would have done...
Thank you for sharing this video...I have often wonder if they treat the pet carriers like luggage ( throwing them around ) it was nice to see the guy doing a gently work with them...I hope all the airlines treat pets this way, with care and respect...your dogs are so beautiful and precious.....
I worked in the airline industry for 4 years. We tried to keep the pets comfortable. Only difference, we put the pets on last. They were handled very well in this undercover video. Props to Air Canada. Beautiful dogs too!
took care of the dog crate and took a picture ...then grab other baggage and throw them the fuk in the back lollll im glad they were good with the doges
Why cargo? Those dogs are small enough to fit under your seat. If you're traveling from the US to Canada, you can put your small dog under your seat. You cannot let them out, but atleast they'll be right beside you throughout the flight instead of being in cargo with the suitcases. :/
Most airlines have a weight limit of 20 pounds for a dog in the cabin. Average Corgi weight is closer to 25. It sucks but it's sadly the only way they can travel on a plane.
Ellie, Pembroke welsh corgis are medium size dog with short legs that's all. They have a long torso and will not fit under passenger seat. If the airline allowed me to do that, I would have done it no questions ask.
I'll be importing my cat from Vancouver, Canada to Melbourne Australia on Air Canada later this year (a ton more paper work), but this was VERY helpful. Thanks for posting.

I'm really split, we moved to Italy a couple years ago, first year Airlines had embargos still on pets, so we couldn't bring Luna at first. She stayed with my in-laws, they have grown to really love her. Now we want to bring her over to us as we miss her dearly, but I worry about her for the flgiht in cargo across the Ocean. Just don't know what is best for her. Reunite us or not put her through the flight. Minute 02:45 of this video made me want to cry to see how nervous the dog looked
Good to see the ramp rats doing a decent job of handling the little guys. I used to talk to critters while I secured them in the hold. Very scary experience, especially for someone who hasn't been through it before.
I don’t think I could ever have a pet travel this way, I’d be terrified of something happening, and sometimes animals can’t get over traumatic experiences
the fact that they were searching for explosives and didn't even see the camera worries me

The stress on the dogs face is pretty heartbreaking .
The fact that they didnt see the ipod is troubling.

TSA is a joke meant to make you, the public, feel safe and to act as a deterrent. Nothing more.
It coulda been c4 or some Jank shit like that. They need to look better
Rebecca Green TSA is not airline-dependent.
Rebecca Green However, you are right about this being a general security threat and TSA being completely incompetent at defending their nation.
Dude do you have to say that?!? I’m moving to Germany and I need to take my pets on a plane :(
Alaska airlines?
Michael Stillings Bullshit. If a small crate like that can take down an airplane than it deserves to go down and commenters like you with it.
2:52 i feel so bad for the dog
Why
@@clairenewberry9957 because the dog looked so scared
Eleanor Goodman but she made it without any problems
@@clairenewberry9957 true but the dog had no idea where it was and it didn't have it's owner. Idk I just think the dog must have been so distressed
Claire Newberry u a dumb bitch
Why not use a mild sedative to help dogs stay calm and sleep the whole flight
JTsuits That can actually result in the animal dieing. I use to work for an airline loading animals and I saw one dog not survive a flight because his owner drugged him. Medications do not react the same at 10,000 or higher feet and they also do not react the same in pressurized environments.
JTsuits love your videos man
Most ppl do give their dogs meds before a flight but my dog was so freaked out that the meds didn’t even phase her! It was so hard walking away from her in the crate, she screeched, whined and barked...probably wondering what was happening. It was awful.
Kodiak And that’s why you have to consult with your local veterinarian for information when boarding animals on a flight! :)
Azzie And Hazard what's a good one to use on 70-90 lbs dogs for long distance driving? It wouldn't need to last the whole drive, just long enough for them to be past the initial first two hours of "OMG CAR RIDE" excitement
1. They were never placed on a baggage cart. They were transported directly from the terminal to the plane via a Pet Courier Service Van (that has a/c)
-Ramper
P.S. If employees follow the rules and regulations that the airlines and federal regulators have set in place for transport of live animals it is perfectly safe albeit, stressful, for any animal. It’s when careless workers do not follow the regulations that things happen.
Which airport do you work in Tyler? It was filmed in 2009 during summer embargo, hence the early flight
Yeah, standard precedure is the pets are the last on, first off.
Do any of you have any recommendations if the pets are cats? I have to travel international as I’m moving to a different country and am so worried about my cats going in this cargo area of the plane
hey, what service that, can you recommend?
I took my 6kg dog (I think that’s like 13lbs) with me in the cabin. We flew with Air France and it was really nice. My dog is actually a little too big in size for the cabin but as she doesn’t weigh much, she was still allowed on. She was really comfortable in her bag and I think it was really good that I was able to have her with me rather than her having to be in a crate all by herself
Poor little face when he was going up the belt. I just wanted to grab ahold of him and hug him 😭

Sailorxnanny xxx same I was like aww he looks so scared I just wanna take him and hug him and hold him

I think what is more scary about this video was that fact that a device went undetected in an animals cage. Imagine what else could make it on any plane then?
Uncoiled Corpse very good point!
thanks for giving ALL the terrorists ideas.......
MrMus TangMan .....not that anyone ever that of that before smh... I'm sure this guy, got approval prior to putting camera in there.
TSA is useless, unless you like being abused and robbed, in which case they're great. As far as making any of us safer? Nope.
Really??!People carry on ipads and other electronics all the time, and EVERYTHING that goes on the plane is checked.
Kuchi Kopi Go away you racist dumbhead no one wants you here.
Kuchi Kopi lol how did that make any sense whatsoever..... you sound like an ignorant pos that’s never been off their continent... feel sorry for you

Kuchi Kopi you're God damn right. And there ain't a God damn thing anyone's going to do about it you know why? Cause we got the bombs that's why
Your poor baby looks so scared when loaded on the belt!
Elisha but still smiling
Smiling is not a sign of happiness in dogs. They can learn to grin when interacting with humans but usually this grinning face means distress.
tarananajaika yeah, you could tell the doggo’s lip was quivering
This would traumatize my dog to be honest. :/
Got7 BTS haha .. same

Pomegranate 01 Oof true
Ok, then dont do this to your dog. Simple.
Lyzzie K. Wow, can’t people have thoughts and opinions and then share them these days?
This video is quite claustrophobic. I would never understand why they put dogs in the same place as the luggage. They are not items, they are living beings.
CrisCrisMH did you ever think that if they put the pets with the passengers that there would be chaos
Coca Cola actually dogs do fly with passengers and it is not chaos
Coca Cola still what if the dog is claustrophobic or something?they can maybe have a big play space the keep the animals in with their own types of spaces.dogs aren't items, they are living beings.
NOAHSWIFE2007 Wha do you mean big play space? It's a fucking airplane not a hotel.
After I saw it said the iPod died i thought the next slide was gonna say " And so did my dog" because i saw the happy black and white picture
How many hours did you travel? Cuz I'm traveling with my dog and idk if she's safe for 14 hours
from mco parking lot to yyz parking lot was 5 hours. Your dog will be safe, just need to prepare her, check the link in the description on how I trained my dogs for the trip.
I would recommend you take the drive, there's been lots of stories about dogs travel on airplanes ending up dead or severely injured.
What...the....FUCK?
hrm i would have a look at that Adam Ruins Everything Episode talking about the TSA. Interesting stuff
The tsa failed 96 percent of their last test
kandyrew Yeah, the TSA really doesn't do much do they? Besides taking up a large amount of taxpayers money and slowing the entire process down. They may discourage terrorist attacks but have yet to openly stop any at least the last time I checked their statistics. Found a lot of drugs? Yes. Bombs? Not so much...
TSA was put into place to scare us and keep under fear. TSA doesn't protect us.
careful. that's precious corgo........**snort**
4:57 fuCK I THOUGHT IT SAID VIENNA DIED BEcause its a black and white photo and it looks like theyre mourning her or something
selsab Mee too !
fuck me tooooo
I thougjt this too omg
LMFAO
It is stressful but not that bad as you say...come on, it's not really that horrible some of them never went on a plain before it's okay
I totally get why an animal would be stressed out trapped in a dark and loud environment with no way of knowing what is going on or where their humans are.
These were my thoughts on point
Wow how do you handle life then??
So they looked for explosives but they didn't even find the camera...
PAC V tsar is the worst lol. The iPod could've been a bomb
they use explosives detection cotton whipes and scan them. the cage can be an explosive molded to be a cage. the dog can be wearing explosives. if they would, the cotton swipes would show that the cage, or the dog within it, had contact with explosives.
and who says electronics is not allowed in luggage? maybe the dog listens to music. it does not have to listen to the emergency thing. who cares.
the point is something as small as an ipod taped to the back of an animal carrier like that COULD have been a bomb, and they just pass it by
They were looking for explosives. Not a camera.
no shit dumbass, im saying that if that camera were a bomb they swiped right past it..
If you're shipping animals overseas for over like 24h how do they get fed and go pee or poop?
I think they get anaesthetised
No, they don't.
TXnine7nine I think you mean sedation rather than anaesthesia.
That dog is unbelievably stressed, poor thing
Lena Redhead we all get stressed out. Get over it
lostinYourReality All they said was that that felt sorry for the dog who seemed stressed out. It's not really something to "get over".

Scared. Cargo is not a friend ly place. Also not good air and temp control.stay around and watch what they do with and to cargo it's nasty.
Oh my god the comments are cancer. He obviously cared about his dogs, why else would he hide a camera in their crate. Not everyone can afford better travel methods and most if not all airlines don't give any other option to fly pets.
Exactly, some of the comments are so stupid. I swear I said they weren't big babies like 20 times
And of course nothing bad happened since this is Canada and nothing bad happens in canada

wait what!! what's his name ?
When I was moving from NZ to England my 2 dogs were left at Sydney airport so I had to miss my flights and stay at a hotel to get them back.
^^^^^
"If the temperature control fails in the cargo"
*_IF_*
If the plane crashes....
Yes, I am very satisfied with air canada :)
You are lucky, A/C treats dogs better than they do the disabled...
Naively, I thought pets being transported would have a more insulated compartment separate from where the luggage goes.
Both Pets and Luggage compartments are insulated, otherwise your contents inside the suitcase would be frozen.
slstsang I meant more from sound. Like the passenger cabin.
I don't have the raw footage inside the cabin anymore, but it was not THAT noisy, remember the jets are on the wings, once the cabin was closed, it's not any louder than inside a sky diving cessna.
I had anxiety just watching this. I understand sometimes it's unavoidable and pets need to fly, but how super scary for them!

hahahahaha you just made my day! thank you! :D
Jane Dupree WOOF WOOF
if the person missed the camera...what else are they missing...
+cameleon Girl While they didn't do the best visual inspection, they swabbed for explosives.
It may be true that could have been an explosive but, then again a explosive that small wouldn't do too much damage... (I hope)
It could blow a hole in the plane that could cause a crash.
Yeah, but it does actually raise a very good question about x-rays for dogs. What if someone were to feed the dog some type of explosive then wash them and then blow them up while in the sky?
I know I should be a part of the counter terrorism unit lol
Do corgis need another corgi with them, because every time I see someone with a corgi, they have two?
nah, they're just like potato chips...you can't have just one. ;) they do fine as solo pups though...you might have to be herded though. ;)
Generally no, it's the owners that wants 2 or more. Most corgis do very well as a single pet household.
I no rite--that's so true--lmao
Aww it must be so stressful for them. I'm a bit surprised the staff didn't engage more with them, but perhaps that is just me as I love animals.
Poor sweet pups. I love the corgis! Glad they made it to their designation safely!
Aww this pup looked like it needed a great big hug, even though it looked slightly excited by the journey.
your dogs are so adorable and well trained!
hope what makes you think they are well trained?

Timothy Perez finally, someone else understands that feeling!!!
It doesn't feel right watching this animal caged and put into a dark baggage area with no idea what's going on. This was actually hard to watch. As an owner I wouldn't put any of my animals through this.
Then I guess you won’t ever fly anywhere with your animals. Leaving them alone at home with someone who might steal them and can at any moment.
sometimes it is inevitable to leave an animal at home, when moving from brazil to chicago there was no other way. the animal will get over it with time.
Then dont put your animals through this lol, simple. Everyone on here is so damn dramatic 😂
Aww jeez who let Becca out of the safe space
I am stressed out on behalf of the dog here. I pray we never have to move overseas with our dogs...if we move anywhere in the US, we'll be driving, thank you.
Maureen Seel well it might take forever and the dog might get carsick. Depends on what state you are going to and from and the breed of the dog
It really just depends on the airline
Maureen Seel ahem Alaska Hawai Guam Puerto Rico ahem ahem
Maureen Seel makes me feel bad since I flew in my dog from a different part of my country
Touche. And I'm not saying it's anybody's fault here...just that I wish airlines could find a way of transporting the animals so they weren't so afraid/stressed. :(
I did the same thing in my airline and there was an insulated room, nothing else was there except for other dogs, there were lights and it was luxury
Which airline?
which airline?
Which Airline?

Ikr! Poor thing
Aw the poor doggie looked so stressed and anxious! Poor little baby! I want to move back to my country next year, and the thing that worries me the most is having to bring my beagle in the cargo. 😢😢😢😢
The fact that they missed the iPod is concerning, that could have been a bomb!
MasterRaceVideos
Good point actually
The Swab for the ETD would of picked up traces of explosives. but still, I thought they x rayed pets; would have reviled the electronics.
I have to fly with my cat in december, im so scared, any tips for cats? it will be an international flight, 9 hours, can he be with be all the time? or he must to go in cargo ?
Depends on airline.
'Murica, people.....
check with your airline for specific rules and safety info
I have a corgi too and I went and hugged her because I felt bad for this one.
i’m here watching this in 2022 and this is easily the best video i’ve ever seen. much love to you and your pups
Law and order theme song up in here
Lmao
it scared me in the beginning lol
The theme song is copyrighted. Since the video's editing style is a parody off the original TV show, it falls under "fair use" section of the copyright law. I'm THAT idiot you're referring to.
+slstsang doesn't it have to be at least 30 seconds of copyrighted material for it to no longer be under fair use?
Hector Posada that's a mythe
The dogs are lovely. I'm so glad they made it to their destination. It was a great idea to document the trip. I hope one day in the future that all dogs can travel in the cabin with their owners.
Then at 4:34 they load the President's pet parakeet in the yellow container......
The Dollar Guy oh
Wow XD
Yeah right
Lmfao
hahahahha
Thank you so much for the video bro!
Thank you Bertha!
Mallr
Probably the first time anyone filmed something good with iPod nano ;) Nice work.
Thank you, appreciate it.
Is that only for dogs or could I bring my 15 pound goat?
Ellie, Pembroke welsh corgis are medium size dog with short legs that's all. They have a long torso and will not fit under passenger seat. If the airline allowed me to do that, I would have done it no questions ask.
You will need to check with your airline for details.
Those cages were not going to fit under any seat.
Lol at 4:00 wawawaw wawawawa
😂😂😂
it's like the tune of the meow mix song I want chicken I want liver
I could never do that to my pets. Leave them alone in a cargo hold for who knows how long? They looked so nervous.
Karuminu2 so you would rather leave them at the place your leaving from.
Boarding from MCO to unloading them in the car at YYZ, 6 hours total, that's including customs. Still shorter than your regular work day hours.
+yasmine barrett Oh no they wouldn't be alone. I'd get either my family or friends to pet sit. ☺
