a great singer and songwriter. i saw him regularly at Passim's in Cambridge in the late 70's and early 80's. A pro's pro. I raised my kids on him and Bill Staines. RIP David...you will be missed.
Wow! Fantastic rendition. His amazing musician and storyteller in song. This is a very nice and lovely music video of yours. I love your visual presentations. Absolutely beautiful my friend. I enjoyed watching and listening... Bravo!!! I love it. Thank you for sharing. All the best to you. I've subscribed to support your lovely channel.
So sad to hear the news. David was an inspired and inspiring musician. I first heard him live at a New Years Eve concert during First Night in Downtown Boston at one of the churches where his music first hooked me - around 1982. Have always had a soft spot for his wonderful songs. I will continue to include at least one of his songs in my set when I can. Rest in Peace and condolences to his family. 🙏❤
Just yesterday morning I thought about David and was wondering how he was, Later in the afternoon while I was working I heard my wife yell "OMG" loudly from downstairs. David and his songs are a treasure to all who followed his career. I am proud to have worked with him on more than one occasion.God Bless The Mallett family.
So sorry to hear this ... when I was in college; his roommate from college was my photography teacher. And of course Pete and Arlo have sung this song over and over.
Love him,, I saw him in concert in Berkeley in '93.. My favorites are: "Highways" "Sweetbird of youth".. "Autumn" "April" "The Road goes on forever" JD
My wife, brother and his wife attended his performance at Cal Tech. Also had the chance to meet him. We own all his music on CDs. Listen to him daily. RIP peace David, you will be truely missed.

Millions of us sang that song, The Garden Song. It rolls. It flows. It tells some simple truths. We loved it.
