    Loving these videos. Would it be possible to add some commentary as you go-not necessarily about where you are on the river as I get some prefer to keep that quiet to avoid too much fishing pressure-but about how you are fishing, which flies, set-up, etc? I’m still learning and starting to tie spiders so knowing how people fish them would be a great learning opportunity. Thanks

    Always look forward to seeing you out and about on the river Robert. That last trout was a lovely looking fish. With the onset of September and hopefully a little rain I hope its not too long before your out entertaining us again? many thanks. Oh and by the way: what fly did the trick that time?

      If memory serves, it was a Brown Owl on the point, a Black Magic on the middle dropper, and Greenwell on the top dropper.

    Can a ask you how much line including your leader would you be using for this method . Fantastic video .👍

      Robert, depending on the speed of the current and make up of the stream. I tend to fish a 9ft leader with between 3ft and 5ft of fly line outside of the rod tip. Hope that helps.

    Great video, been looking into this style of fishing wets. Are you using a stiff tapered leader or a level leader ?

    • @thedalesangler
      @thedalesangler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use my own 9ft tapered leader design.
