Glad you enjoyed it John. I, too, love paintings that tell, or conceal, a story. I have a print of a painting by William Kay Blacklock, called "The Letter", which shows a young woman reading a letter in a small room in a cottage, a seemingly idyllic scene, until you realise that the letter has a black border and that picture was painted in 1917. Delightful music and stately art -- I believe if men were to indulge and engage their attentiveness to these two things there would be far fewer riots and wars. We must somehow engage the attention of the youth in these things! It makes the heart sing psalms of lofty peace.

Hi Malena, sorry to hear you are suffering from floods; it seems to be a bit of a world wide problem, we get them here too. Man made climate change and the welfare of the environment in general are the biggest issues we have to deal with today, and yet all the politicians seem to be concerned with is ensuring they get another term in office.
