I ordered the SE 2 (44mm, Midnight) the day after it released and got it 2 days ago. I charged it up to full and tested out the longevity of the battery over the past 2 days. With moderate usage (notifications, workouts, screwing around with settings, map assist while driving and also music controls) I was able to manage going well over 36 hours of battery and still had about 20% remaining...all this WITHOUT low power mode! This is my first Apple Watch and I’m very very pleased with its quality and features. Stick with the SE 2 if your regular use case scenario is like mine, you literally don't need the series 8 just for the extra features which I as a doctor would get checked out at a hospital and not on an apple watch 😅 . You won’t be disappointed. Buy the SE 2 blindly😃🤙🤙👌it's the best well-rounded watch apple has made so far.

Update: I bought one the day of when I first commented, and it’s amazing it’s really great for tracking your steps and overall health, the battery is pretty good and lasts about 2 days it’s overall really reliable since I’m a pretty active person 100% should buy since it’s so cheap.

You're 100% correct. I had the series 3 and it crapped out after I took it in the pool. I was going to get the SE1 a few weeks ago when Amazon had it on sale for $229. Glad I waited. For $20 more, it's better to have the latest watch that will receive updates for longer. HOWEVER, if you can find the SE1 for $175 or lower (Black Friday), that's a much better buy because 95% of the people who USE apple watches do the basics on them (fitness tracking, music, message reading) and you don't need the latest watch to do that stuff.
i have the series 3 which is a bit outdated now although i absolutely love being able to see my messages and notifications as i can see what they are without taking out my phone at work or school
I did bought Apple Watch SE back in April 2022. I just loved it in space grey that I got it at Target. I do have a lot of bands towards it. I still have series 1 and 2. I got the SE for this one app towards my car from my iPhone.
As someone who is very active, I really like the fitness tracker. Especially for work outs such as swimming where it's able to track many things for me
Hi Rudo, it is very difficult to see the difference. From Apple I got this: You have a choice of two display options-40mm or 44mm-both of which have slim bezels and rounded corners. The back is slightly different-the new model has a nylon composite and sapphire crystal back while the older version uses ceramic-but it will feel the same. Not very helpful I am afraid
I just purchased this watch and was stoked about having a keyboard to text and then it disappeared! Now I only have the scribble option which baffles me. Any idea about this feature? Did I just get a fluke watch and this series doesn’t even have a keyboard feature? Apple hasn’t even been able to help me with this.

Definitely planning on picking up this very colour of the SE2, so your video has been really helpful. The standout feature to me is a toss up between audiobooks without my phone and the new pricing, £350 for GPS/Cellular is superb value compared to the nearly £600/800 new spec’d out Series 8 👍
Hello Great video. I really enjoyed it. I bought the se 1 generation one month ago. It is my first Apple Watch. To be honest it was great choice. I’m really happy to use it. Personally if you have the 1 gen of se it is not necessary to upgrade. For normal using, only what is necessary, I don’t feel to upgrade it in next 2 maybe 3 years. Coming back to Apple ecosystem after almost a decade with android. I’m still debating whether to stick with my galaxy watch 4 just for fitness tracking or get series 7/8. It’s shame Apple doesn’t offer round option. ECG and health tracking would be key features I look for in any watch.

Well to be honest I would say go for the se2, mainly because of price difference and also you're getting a better processor and support for a longer time
for $40 bucks more that beautiful screen, always on display--you have the choice, egg and blood oxygen, you might not want these things nor do I, but for $40 if you can afford it the series 7 is beautiful

Because the series 8 and 7 are 41mm and 45 but the bands are the same sizes as the se 40 and 44mm
