Hey mint, there are actually TWO golden berries in chapter 1's A side, one needing to be deathless(the ones you have been doing) and a winged version that requires you to beat the chapter without DASHING ONCE(however dying Is in fact allowed)

Golden berries seem to be so impossible when you just play through the game normally. Then you return to any level you thought to be “hard” initially and crush it in 10 instead of 1000 deaths and suddenly golden berries become an option. The learning curve in this game really is something.
Going from dying way too many times on level 1, at the start of my playthrough, thinking I'd never be able to do any of the B sides, to getting a golden berry on 1C has been such a journey so far 😃

I then went for 3A before the other A sides, which was a mistake lol Make sure to go for it a bit later if you haven't already started As for the B sides, 3B requires a lot of labbing, 4B mostly just requires good execution, and 5B requires a bit of both - Mostly execution in the first half, mostly labbing in the second half. So take that into account when deciding which ones to go for next
I'd say that playing the Strawberry Jam mod is a WAY more fun experience than going for goldens. It's even more challenging, if you go for the 4th and 5th world of levels.

I started playing celeste about 2 weeks before your first video on it. Im glad to see you try out the golden berries. As someone who's done all b side goldens except core, i can say that yes they're hard but they feel incredible to pull off. I would personally recommend doing the b sides next instead of the a sides. They are harder but shorter,more consistent and way more fun. I skipped most a sides and jump straight into the b sides and last week when I finally finished 3b golden I decided to go back and do the remaining a sides and leave 8b as the final challenge before farewell. I expected to breeze trough them since they are considered a lot easier that the b sides but that wasn't the case at all. I started getting very annoyed and frustrated with them so right now i'm taking a break. Just know that you don't have to do them in order. If a certain chapter is giving you trouble you can just skip it and come back to it later. Just remember to have fun and good luck!! Oh and note that so far you did all of them a lot faster than me except for ridge.
Unless you actually enjoy the B side goldens, I recommend checking out modded Celeste first, because you'll be introduced to a whole slew of new gameplay and mechanics that are super cool. Strawberry Jam is the biggest collaboration in modded Celeste with various levels of difficulty and a tech gym as well. I highly recommend playing it.

1b and 2b are also really easy to do deathless (and the dashless one too). After that I got stuck with golden berries. And now I don't play this game anymore
This video and some others made me keep going for the goldens ater i quited.i had a few like 1a qc 2a 2b 2c 3c but after this i currently have 194 berries and am on my last a side.

I just beat glyph it was pretty good it took me 6 hours 2 hours were on the last screen the hyper timings at the start and end of the room I couldn't get consistently.
Goldening the C sides honestly made 6C have more deaths for me than any other C side, 7C is way harder but everything in Chapter 6 is just so inconsistent lol (I'm looking at you, bumpers)
Oof, im currently at chapter 9 with all b sides and c sides done and knowing that at least golden berries for c sides wont be as hard as i think is such a relief

A sides are long so they're hard (Still have to get those) and B is just C sides (bit easier lol) with the length of A sides and... Ouch. THEN THERE'S CHAPTER 9. I'm genuinely scared of having it as my last golden berry.

C sides aren't too difficult to complete golden because they only have 3 rooms B sides golden are a death wish
