Like others have said here. The second I press the = button to reset the default master code it beeps several times and flashes red. Whatever I do, that is the response I get.
@@gaberodriguez7793 I did, and I believe all I did was replace the batteries, which didn't seem necessary, but it worked. I can't remember if I did anything else (sorry).
I pressed the 3 bar key at the TOP to lock mine BUT if there is any resistance for the deadbolt to slide in, it retracts and does not not lock. One of mine tries three times and then locks. The other locks on the first try. Again, any resistance in the deadbolt's path is an issue.
This video is ten months old and remains incomplete. No concern for the missing information. How does one unlock the door? Where is that in the directions or video? People who have that knowledge yet are unable to communicate non-intuitive directions to new users should stay away from writing incomplete directions. I doubt anyone new to this lock, could program this using only the directions provided in the box. I initially thought they were clear and complete. Not the case.
