About this Item:
One-Time Code: A one-time password can be set, and the password will be automatically deleted after use.
Passcode Entry: This keypad lock provides 20 access codes for family use and an available temporary code for the single guest entry.
Fingerprint Unlock: Biometric fingerprint identification - It recognize your fingerprint in just 0.3 seconds, and unlock your door in 1 second.
Smart-Locking: 'Automatic door lock' can be set to lock automatically in 10-99s; 'one-touch auto-lock' can press and hold any key on keypad for 2 seconds to lock the door.
Important: Please install the battery after installing the door lock. The deadbolt will automatically identify the direction of the door after installing the battery. If you install the battery before installing the door lock, will need reset it, if not the deadbolt may not work because it doesn't recognize the direction of the door.

One day someone may "knob-lock" the door on their way out and then later (when they try to get back in) use their keycode or fingerprint on the cute little lock-pad, and then realize when its not unlocking "I'm locked out!" So get a door knob without a lock to replace the locking doorknob. else, I hate to say it ahead of time, but told y'all so
true story... our front door has a code an no knob lock so if you get locked out back, you can get in the front... :-)

Thanks for creating the video. I know depending on usage, battery life varies. How often do you need to replace battery, and what is frequency of using keypad or fingerprint?
This is on a back door so it’s not getting daily use. I’ve never had the thumb print fail so haven’t had to use the keypad. I have another brand that is wifi on my front door and it has lasted 18 months with no battery change. Sorry I can’t answer you me question specifically but I’d guess life span is pretty good.

Must say after we installed ours Hurricane Ian threw 170 mph winds against our door it was scary but it held well.
Yep have been happy with mine so far. Just added a biometric knob from another brand.
Do you know if teeho is still selling this specific smart lock with the finger print? Amazon shows "currently unavailable"
I’d bet they will have more soon. I was just given this lock to test a few weeks ago so I’m assuming they must have just run low on stock.
My husband’s fingerprint worked my thumb and pointer finger didn’t work(tried several times) didn’t work with my daughters fingerprint. My son’s fingerprint it worked.My husband said try your center(middle)finger…it WORKED. Turns out my daughter and myself weren’t picking up clear because those 2 fingers were either dry and or cracked
hmm interesting, i put the whole family on it and we had no problems. Glad you found a finger that worked, now you just have to remember which one until you get used to it... :)
Try a little corn huskers lotion or similar. Wipe almost dry and it’ll read just fine. Common problem with reading prints. Even very expensive machines used in law enforcement have this issue.
Does this lock require a smart phone, Wi-Fi or computer? I'm looking for one that does not require any electronic equipment. Thank you for the post

can you rekey to other existing house locks?
Not on your own, I don't believe. Not sure if a locksmith can do it... I just picked up a Kwikset Smartkey lock but it doesn't do the fingerprint. I'll be a doing a video on that soon, you can rekey in seconds. Wish I had known about it back in my days as a landlord.
Does it auto lock or do you have to press any button for 2 secs everytime to lock it?
I do not believe it auto locks without pressing a button.
You can set it to auto lock between 10 and 99 seconds after the door is unlocked actually. To set it you hit the Teeho button x2 -> enter door code -> teeho -> 0 button -> key in 10-99 -> teeho (this is all from memory it is either correct or pretty close).

How is the battery life on this? Have you changed recently?
I have not had to change it since installed. That said it is not my primary entry. I have a different brand on my primary entry and batteries last well over a year at at time. Sorry I can't be more specific on the Teeho.

@@alexmartin1071 it’s a Schlage and is keypad not biometric and requires a specific hub to communicate with its wifi. Sorry I wasn’t clear. I’d you want that info I can send you links but it’s a lot more expensive and sort of apples and oranges comparison

Bummer. I have the whole family printed and it has been working very reliably. I’d send it back and get another one.
