Katie, because your bars of soap often look edible (despite us knowing it’s soap LOL) why don’t you try making fudge that looks like a bar of soap you’ve made? The consistency of chocolate fudge before it’s chilled seems similar to soap and could allow for soap making techniques to be used on it so why not try it as a fun experiment? Lily can join too because its a really easy recipe!
Thinking about the silver hearts, and next year for the holidays it would be neat to do a "silver and gold" soap, like the song from the stop motion Rudolph. That song is so nostalgic and I think it would be very pretty!

I actually quite like the darker look. Black with a purple and sharp pink, kinda a galaxy vibe is my aesthetic. I mean.. with cats.. (as you may tell by my pfp, *unless it’s been changed by the time you see it*) wait…. CAT SOAP! MAKE A CAT SOAP! YES I WOULD TOTALLY BUY THAT!!! With little triangle ears in the soap frosting! You should do a month of animal themed soaps and make a cat one! Or in next year’s Halloween collection… I don’t know if you’ve done that before since I’m a new subscriber, but CAT
The only Nutcracker I've ever seen was the Barbie version when I was a kid, so I don't really have an answer for the question! 😂 But you mentioned "Gothic Sugar Plum Fairy" and now I wanna see how you would make a whole gothic line!! Maybe something romantic gothic or nu gothic so that way there's plenty of color for you to work with!
To go with the vintage/retro holiday theme a jello salad (the ones that come in a bundt shape and no one really eats but are nostalgic) would be cool. Because you could cut up colorful soaps and then put it in a white cream base to mimic the dessert. And a fruit cake since most come in a rectangular shape... This may be an uncommon opinion but my favorite part is when you mix the lye water solution w the oils. Idk just tickles my brain the way the opacity changes magically (chemistry)

(Listen to me, acting like I've been watching you more than a year, lol, but I have watched almost all the older videos at this point!!) My absolute favorite dance in the Nutcracker is the dawn. It’s what happens right at the beginning of Act 2 before Clara enters the Land of Sweets. And the music is just gorgeous and the dance is always beautiful. I also love the Snow Queen dance at the end of Act 1. But all of them are really lovely to be honest.
This soap is to die for!!! I love how it's not too holiday-looking so it wouldn't feel funny having it out after December. 😂 As for the nutcracker, I don't think I have a favorite song but my favorite scene is Mother Ginger with her big tent skirt!
The Arabian dance from the Nutcracker is my favorite. The first time I saw it, the Bolshoi were in town. The female dancer was a bird and was carried on stage in a cage. It was amazing. Those Russian ballet troups know what they are doing!
I love the waltz of the snowflakes. I remember seeing that live, it was a class trip to Lincoln Center, and I was riveted. Snow is my favorite thing. In fact I won a drawing contest for drawing the “snowflakes” dancing.

My daughter danced almost every part in the Nutcracker over nine years and I’ve watched it hundreds of times, but finale always has (and always will,) make me cry.
I would happily take an extended audio/visual ASMR compilation from Scrapey Scrapey, Inc.! The scrapey sounds and the blender sounds along with the satisfying visual of mica being blended into soap batter and frosting being piped on top, I could drift off to sleep with that for sure!!😂

The Sugar Plum Fairy's pas-de-deux is gorgeous (with her candy prince), and easily my favourite dance. Followed closely by the entire rest of the ballet. But as far as music is concerned, the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Dance of the Snowflakes, Waltz of the Flowers, Russian Dance... I mean yeah, I LOVE the entire ballet.
Katie, just an idea, could you do a soap where you do random small „oopsies“ in the process? For example mix from dark to light instead of light to dark, messy layering of random colors, add frosting before the soap hardened, not spritz with rubbing alcohol, add left over random embeds… 😅 wouldn’t that be fun?! No? 🙈

I love it. The Nutcracker is a tradition for my daughter, granddaughter and myself. We try to go to our local ballet company’s production. We’ve been going since my daughter was six and she is now 35 and my granddaughter is 12. My favorite dance is the dance of the snowflakes. This is a beautiful soap and fits the theme perfectly.
I liked the inside of the soap it looked like hummingbirds and flowers. In the Nutcracker suite I like 2 of the movements, the Chinese dance and the Russian dance.
My family’s favorite dance is the sugar plum fairy and the wedgie dance 😂. When I was a kid I asked my parents how could the nutcracker dance with a wedgie? And that joke has stuck for years

Before we had kids, my husband and I would go see The Nutcracker at out local theatre. I don’t think he particularly liked it, but I love it. And the Russian dance is my favorite. So upbeat! I like this one! Also, Katie: Tempest by Mad Micas isn’t CP soap stable. I found out the hard way when mine turned super gray. I also didn’t mix mine with anything, though.
Waltz of the Snowflakes is my absolute favorite. It would also make a really pretty blue and silver soap. Actually....a whole Nutcracker suite themed collection would be awesome.
Oh gosh I am SO HAPPY. Ever since I got the Crystal soap as a sample months ago I've been hoping you'd use that colour palette again! I've never seen the Nutcracker ballet so maybe that helps, but there's just something about the way you put dramatic purples together... and the silver was indeed the perfect finishing touch. My daughter danced in The Nutcracker for years. My favorite roll she had was one of 3 Russian Stacking Dolls (Matryoshka) during the Herr Drosselmeyer gift giving. In the production it is the music right before the ballarina and soldier dolls. Black, red, and gold were the colors.
My answer would definitively be Dance of the sugar plum fairy. It's so light and magical, it's one of my favourite piece of classic music, and it's the centerpoint of one of the best episode of the best anime ever made, so yeah.
For me, it's the Dance of The Sugarplum Fairies and the Russian Dancers. The Nutcracker was one of my favorites to watch when I was home sick as a little one, but only the one with Mikhail Baryshnikov as the Nutcracker Prince. :-)

Before we had kids, my husband and I would go see The Nutcracker at out local theatre. I don’t think he particularly liked it, but I love it. And the Russian dance is my favorite. So upbeat! I like this one! Also, Katie: Tempest by Mad Micas isn’t CP soap stable. I found out the hard way when mine turned super gray. I also didn’t mix mine with anything, though.
My favorite dance in The Nutcracker is "Dance of the Snowflakes." When I was in college, I actually sang with the ballet for the performances.

Oh gosh I am SO HAPPY. Ever since I got the Crystal soap as a sample months ago I've been hoping you'd use that colour palette again! I've never seen the Nutcracker ballet so maybe that helps, but there's just something about the way you put dramatic purples together... and the silver was indeed the perfect finishing touch. Wonderful.

Clara's dance is my favorite.
My daughter danced in The Nutcracker for years. My favorite roll she had was one of 3 Russian Stacking Dolls (Matryoshka) during the Herr Drosselmeyer gift giving. In the production it is the music right before the ballarina and soldier dolls. Black, red, and gold were the colors.

My answer would definitively be Dance of the sugar plum fairy. It's so light and magical, it's one of my favourite piece of classic music, and it's the centerpoint of one of the best episode of the best anime ever made, so yeah.

For me, it's the Dance of The Sugarplum Fairies and the Russian Dancers. The Nutcracker was one of my favorites to watch when I was home sick as a little one, but only the one with Mikhail Baryshnikov as the Nutcracker Prince. :-)
