Gahd... I still get the maddest fucking chills in the following changes from the recorded version...
2:25 - "Put down the words I will not HESITATE!" how she broke down hesitate where it felt like she sawed my skull in half with 3 syllables.
5:24 - "My heart is alllll WaaaAAYYYYYYYYS..... Still".
5:29 - When she sings "Please Release Me" before finishing out this fucking song like the boss that she is.

So. Damn. Good. What else is there to say? This whole performance is flawless. Their music is flawless. I think Spiritbox was sent to us straight from heaven. Everything they do is soooo well done and I don't really have anything more to add to your words. I can absolutely agree with everything you guys said and mentioned in those three parts. I really enjoyed all of your Spiritbox reactions, it was fun - thank you!

I've been a musician and music lover in various musical genres for over 40 years, but Jinjer and Spiritbox are two of my absolutely favorite bands. They make different music, Jinjer music & Spiritbox music, they are each unique and all these musicians are sensational !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank's for your reactions and greetings from Germany, stay safe!

I'm amazed yall didn't mention that low in beauty of suffering. It shows she is still working on her growl and progessing. I've been listening to them from day one and I've never heard her do that type of low.

Honestly I just lost it when it happened and didn’t know what to say lol. I’ve only been following them for about 2 years and am constantly blown away by her vocal progression 🤯🤯🤯.

That low growl has always been a part of Courtney's repertoire. She was doing that all the way back in her IWABO days too.

Spiritbox deserves all the exposure they can get, and then some. Another great reaction fellas!
    Keep up the good work.

Yeaaaaa Bill shines on this and it does feel like the guitar and bass are just bouncing off each other. Flawless performance of flawless songs.

This song and Eternal Blue (Title Track) are on repeat non-stop for me right now. Beauty of Suffering hits me so hard. So much power but then you have that outro that hits me like Constance. They blow me away.

her vocals in the end of Beauty of Suffering are so good. I know she's adjusting for how the end of the song on the record has several layered vocal parts but this version sounds so good and we get to hear her flex her skills a bit more.

Thanks guys, keep em coming. I agree with Frankie, it’s super cool when Mike plays his guitar with the bass line, even almost slapping it. Haven’t seen that before, but he does it in a few songs. Such a good fuckin band. I saw on Instagram that they are in the desert somewhere recording the album. Can’t wait.

Can't wait for an album from. It's a fairly popular djent technique to play basslines on the two lowest strings on an 8 string guitar which are essentially bass strings. That being said the bass doesn't usually double in fact AAL doesn't have a bass but 2 8 string guitarists. Cheers!

Mike definitely writes the instrumentals. He maps out the drums electronically too, with the input ofca drummer, just to make sure it makes sense.
Also, Mike’s challenge is not “can I play it” but rather “can I play something less difficult and make it sound great.” His first band Fall In Archaea is all sweep picking and breakdowns, and when he played in IWABO, it was all “riff in one time signature, riff in another time signature, rinse and repeat” in the same key. He and Courtney wanted this to be something different from their norm that wouldn’t be so taxing on themselves.

Yo, you guys have awesome reactions. And I mean this because I do the same dumb giggles (and remove my glasses in the way Frankie does) when I listen to this and the other stuff on your channel.
I get why I'm starting to see people say that they are overrated, solely due to hype. Uh, that doesn't take away from the fact that THEY ARE SO FUCKING OBNOXIOUSLY GOOD. Courtney is married to Mike, and I do believe that that has something to do with how they simultaneously sound cohesive, knowing what they want to convey in a song, while expressing incredibly versatile range.
Agree with your points about this entire performance. It's amazing and impeccably mixed. Honestly, I'm kinda embarrassed that I only discovered them (despite knowing iwabo) like a year ago

    Awesome reaction an$ comments bros!
They are my favorite bands, both in the first place cause both are awesome.
Please react to my second and third bands:
Entheos from California , progressive/technical Death Metal. The singer, Chaney Crabb, is a close friend to Courtney.
Please react to their play through of Inverted Earth/Sunshift.
Then react to Vintersea from Portland, some Darkened Progressive Death Metal, awesome musicianship. The introductory song to them is Illuminated.
Vintersea actually opened a couple of gigs for Jinjer last North American tour,, so this is a hint.
    Cheers from Norway dudes!
